  1. couple of situations fo rme. one is iad JC into spike chaser (usually in the corner). (I've stopped doing this). Other is just sometimes I'll end up trading with spike chaser as I fall from a normal jump. Hate projectiles that don't go away when you hit the char.

  7. that's what I call anti-comet cannon, cause it works on every character, including noel, but it's significantly more tricky. Just like to avoid that if I can.
  8. if i remember right, I was doing this against litchi, in a real match, and it went fine, till the JB. I usually prefer to do comet cannon combos, but we know, there are bitches in this world. Noel obviously, but also Litchi. so I did 5cc> JB and the JB whiffs on Litchi. Annoying that she is also anti-comet cannon.
  9. Asteroid vision is I think not terribly different from just any place you might reset pressure. Press a button after something > asteroid vision and you might get hit by lunatic upper. press a button after lunatic upper and you might get hit by mars chopper. Press a dp or a counter and you might get baited.

  14. That might be true, and I haven't really watched much of Nu in CP, but it seems to me like much of her threats at range are gone. I'm not sure what the new things are to make players desperate to get in with her unable to put out a random wheel of ungodly frame advantage into ungodly quick overhead, or with guard primers gone. Better at zoning? Well it's all relative to risk and reward. Maybe she's better at zoning but it doesn't look like I'll have to take as many risks against her. I dunno. Maybe this is a good time to look at some Lambda vs Tsub/Mak matches to see if the matchup will be as infuriating as EX.
  15. I always thought Lambda had quite easy combos and was always more about the zoning already TBH. guard primer loss seems like one of the biggest changes to me.
  16. IMO.. When she's out of 3c range you can hit 4c. Not charged, just plain 4c. predictable and you can get hit by Makoto's 3c, but only if you're predictable. Overall the risk reward on Makoto using 3c is strongly against her (the same is true of j2c), against any character, but especially in this matchup. Any time hovering leads to your advantage due to passive meter gain. so the match up does play out with a lot of hovering and baiting. Basically, trying to run in from outside of 4c range to just outside of 3c range and catch a 3c or 5c whiff.
