  1. I don't skip if it's choppy, but if It's choppy, I already know I'm in for a game I won't enjoy.
  2. This is wrong. If you're doing it correctly, it doesn't matter if you are inputting 5a or 4a, 5aa WILL NOT come out. and 5a is +1 on block. Only the slowest dps will be able to be blocked if you did a 5a. Yu, mitsuru, you will be hit before you recover. You probably can't even block Shadow Labrys' dp in time (15 frames).
  3. aside from random hits off skull cracker, lag really sucks on Chie. Totally screwed in neutral without being able to react, neutral is hard enough anyway with her. I just really don't think it matters, to wait, if the connection is good enough. If the connection isn't good enough, it's just going to suck anyway... I don't really believe that waiting during the intro affects the whole match either.
  4. if I have a good connection with someone, I will skip the intro. No reason to waste all that time.
  5. You don't have to input it as 4a, and I wouldn't be surprised if you are doing it too slow if you are. Anyway. Neutral is the hardest part of playing, and the hardest part to explain.

  9. The other thing about that being you have no time to build SP in your combo. Stunedges doesn't use sp until late so the sp differential should be pretty huge.

  14. for reference, these numbers produce what for jabs? 5 for Chie, Yu, Yosuke, Akihko etc? I remember some numbers that were all 1f off from other sources (shtkn mitsuru numbers?)
  15. tsubaki's command grab isn't functional as a damage throw anyway. it gets charge. you should think of it more like platinum's throw than like Bang's...

  21. there's a fundamental problem with expecting pressure to be safe anyway.. Really solid oki is one thing, but for the most part, anything you do can be countered if they know it's coming. It's just on you to mix it up so they don't know it's coming. .. yeah. *shrug*
