it's possible to do stuff like that, but it's basically OS'ing on how large gaps are. if he does a 360 at a timing where it'll beat an overhead, it will always lose if you did something that hit just a bit earlier. Delayed gatlings can catch that. You must not have been varying your timing any. always canceling immediately into 5b, immediately into 2b, immediately into over head, etc. Of course if you delay your gatlings to catch that then you can also just be straight up 360'd if they churned.
