  1. yeah, it is obvious that they don't know much about the character. i've never even heard of a tsubaki on the west coast existing. huey played for a couple months. I find it hard to care though.
  2. it's not that bad, but when it comes down to it tsubaki is low tier and people don't need to learn about her to fight against her so they don't. he is basically correct about why she is low tier though, bad average damage, bad normals.. and why the normals are bad is accurate too. people that spend the time can distinguish 6a/6b but people that don't will get hit. still the bigger problem is not that it's not possible to mix people up, but that tsubaki is weak to getting mashed out and getting barriered out, or upbacked out.

  9. that change is like makoto's acorn. a slap in the face and should tell you something about the people balancing the game. out of all the things they could have changed, they chose that.

  12. why not? the adjustment is to make the pumpkin not hit, so if you do 2a5bjbjc that's the same as this version. but the added height and time used by having to do jbJC just kills the idea of doing 5b6a236a>6a4b>5cc. it would work on a normal starter with good timing but not a jab. this is my conclusion testing in this version anyway.

  14. you won't have any luck because that's not going to be practical ever, it's a straight gimmick. if you did use it you'd be better off doing 46d236d twice anyway.

  16. rachel's matchups are largely very different and can take a lot of experience to learn how to really play. still, this is something on you as a rachel player, you really need to know your stuff. it's legit to switch chars if you think they won't know how to play the matchup.. certainly this is more true against Rachel than against other characters... but obviously that isn't going to work at higher levels of play either. lots of chars like ragna, makoto, bullet, etc can play basically the same against most characters... etc.
  17. less wind regen and no added pole is unfortunate. if you have pumpkin you have to use jb, if you use frog frog usually hits, unfortuantely.
  18. rather than that, I mean stuff like random shit in neutral, robot punch thing, run up twirls, 2cs, and various stuff on defense... can't really be too gimmicky with relius' offense, it is just that it is what it is. GGs though.

  20. hazama does not have problems getting in on people. chains are close to get a in for free tool. you can ib and punish him coming in if he does exactly what you guess at exactly the right range and timing and there's very little reason that he has to do exactly what you want at exactly the right range and timing.

  22. i guess that's what I mean by not thinking about it. Anytime you made someone block a JC you could go for a double overhead, or a triple overhead, and you could go for a low after any of those point, and the double/triple overheads would be pretty safe from a frame trap perspective. You could JD>JB on someone's wakeup for a safe jump that's also good mixup. You can jump cancel off 5a and 5b into an overhead that while it wouldn't be as fast as 6a, would be safe against 2a and throw mashing. You could use it to delay landing, to avoid anti-airs.. something very strong when used by lambda/relius/litchi/whatever, but something that's almost dead with tsubaki because of the landing recovery penalty Much better reward off JD > air dash.. something which is pretty strong by itself but can never get any kind of decent combo from, or risk getting punished if they block it... Anytime you ever get hit by a move during landing recovery, you could DP that instead. Shit, it would change so much. But yeah, if you just try to use it off 6c it might not help much.
