If you RC the first hit you get 20 untech time, 100 P1/P2, and 200 damage. OD takes like 17 frames. You won't connect anything if you do RC/OD. Cancel OD took like 7 frames. You can't OD cancel it anymore. You should be able to do stuff after the 2nd hit, but that comes with a 60 P2 hit. So you won't be getting 10k damage off that. As far as I can tell they haven't changed anything to make backthrow RC OD less broken, so that should still be 11k damage

What damage nerfs? They changed Combo time to short on the first hit, and they made the untech time 20. 1. RC> OD> Nothing will connect 2. Combo time is short instead of Normal even if you get something to connect 3. Proration unchanged. Free 200 damage.

there's also a matter of the speed of the thing. it's gone from -2, and it has also gained hitstop, which will give more time to press a button, or to backdash, block high, whatever.

at any rate, you're way off if you consider 22 frames to be a relatively slow overhead in BB. 22 frames is relatively FAST. You might call 24 average.

It just depends on untech time. Lots of staples aren't designed to be that lenient so that you can't do them off jab starters let alone CAs. Tager's 3c has like infinite untech time. Same with Rachel's 3c and BBL. Some things won't drop unless youre at the instant tech point. something after 3c > ac> will probably work, but a string afterthat, maybe not.

tsubaki can also airdash forward and hit you. I think air charging over sonic sabres is a winning strategy and Izayoi shouldn't play that game. If she does land a hit and gets a lot of orbs, things definitely get hard.

hakumen is the character that has lost the whole being disadvantaged against long range characters. He's one of Rachel's bad matchups. Not sure that Tager has any 3-7 matchups. Sledge is definitely classic tager. Straight RPS, like everything else he does.

I think tsubaki is probably not really nerfed now. probably pretty slightly improved, overall. same as other chars that were bad, minor changes

do you actually get neg penalty in CP any? I got it all the time in EX, but even on tsubaki in CP with her 2 neg penalty I didn't really get it. Was really dumb in EX though because it makes it out like tsubaki is a character that has no reason to be at a distance from anyone. I think I have literally never gotten neg penalty with Rachel with the 7 rating. but I don't expect having 4 to really change anything either. I didn't expect Relius/Valks backdashes to get nerfed quite that much ( I thought they would still have the best backdashes), but I didn't really expect the wolf backdash nerf, and certainly not that much. Thoughts? The wolf gauge nerf seems like it will have a big effect on neutral too.

He has a 19 frame overhead. When terumi hits arcades you'll see people using it. till then, let the whining commence

she doesn't have to play a sonic sabre only game. but at the start I think that is how it goes and I don't think that's a good way to play it.

valk, rachel, hazama, all their special gauges don't recharge while in the air. not too surprising.

I'm not sure why you'd give up 26 frames of blockstun for a 20 blockstun special cancelable 6c. to me it adds pretty much nothing, except the possibility of green grabbing with command grab. and it removes autoconfirms of mugen, or whatever you like.
