  3. What if I suck and only really know 1.2 combos for ground hits that aren't huge punishes? :P
  4. Yeah; That first one is basically the combo I've been practicing since getting CP, so I just have to adjust to the change in input for the fireball. It's good to know there's a better ender variant for not much less damage though. It also seems like with two charges you could do: (CH) > 6C > Install > 421D > 236D > 214D > 22D > Dash 623D > j.236D > j.214D ...? Stuff?
  5. That's kinda weird considering how everyone is always talking up Izayoi (the weapon, not the character), but random bozo-off-the-streets Bullet has a higher "power level"? Dunno, that's pretty lame.

  7. There's no flowchart or quick and easy breakdown for what you want. What I suggest you do is watch some videos (your own replays, perhaps) and every time the "opponent" does something, ask yourself "Why did they do that there?"

  9. Wait, what? 6C > 22B is a frametrap? That's AWFUL. Freakin' 5B > 22B is gapless. o.o In fact, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you're probably wrong, because it makes no sense for 6C> 22B AND 6C > 214B to frametrap, because there's 7 frames of difference in the startup of those two moves.
  10. Good job proving my point, namely, that there's nothing about "A character that messes with your movement" that automagically makes them unbalanceable. Also, it's not REALLY equivalent to Rachel with Infinite Wind because Kokonoe actually has to DO something to deploy Graviton, whereas Wind is a "Free Action" for Rachel. An interesting way to make Kokonoe less annoying in Neutral would be to slow down the Graviton deployment. See? This stuff is EASY. We have tons of ideas in like 10 minutes. There's nothing unbalanceable about this character. The fact that she is stupid has everything to do with them making her stupid and nothing to do with her "design".

  12. Erg; Didn't you ask about this earlier and get told it was in Somerville? Or did someone else get that info? x.x Uh. I don't know what the heck that calendar is either - I've never seen it before. =/ Sorry you had all this trouble. For reference, NEXT Tuesday is at the East End Grill in Somerville (as have all of these for about a month, and as will they be in the future as far as anyone knows right now.). It's on Broadway in Somerville, and relatively accessable from everywhere UNLESS You are coming from the South, in which case, god help you. Seriously. I live around here and can give directions.
  13. Nonsense. The "will always be good" stuff just makes me feel like people have no idea how these games actually work. Post patch, Kokonoe's "movement screwing abilities" result in her neutral being...somewhat annoying. Big deal. It's not remotely the cause of her being too good (that would be all the other **** that has nothing to do with screwing with people's movement) - as evidenced by the fact that her Graviton doesn't even hit in neutral anymore, and she's still stupid good. Because she has INSANELY GOOD NORMALS, and some other random BS. You know what EVERY character in BB who is good has, and what no characters who are bad have? Good normals. You know who else "screws with people's movement"? Tager. Just sayin'. I agree that the trap is a part of the problem, but I don't think it's the whole one. I don't even think it needs to be removed. Just give it basically zero blockstun and a lot of the nonsense she can do with it goes away.

  17. Ouroboros meter exists for one reason and one reason ONLY. To keep Hazama from infinitely chaining up into the sky to be uncatchable as soon as he has a life lead. It does nothing else, for any useful intent or purpose.
  18. Bull^%&^*. First off. What do you even mean by "a character like her"? There's no unifying theme to her design at all besides "She can do everything!". Second of all, there are about a million things they could do. Make some of her stuff actually punishable? Make her projectiles go away if she gets hit? Maybe she shouldn't have far and away the best anti-air in the game? (11F startup, FRAME 4 head invuln? Seriously? Tsubaki's anti air was 'so good' with frame 7 invuln in Extend that they NERFED that for CP) Fix her cancels so she can't gatling freakin' everything in everything else? (And note that literally EVERY normal she has can be special cancelled. WTF is that?) Seriously LOOK at her gatling table and her cancel options. They BARELY touched them for this patch. Slow down her teleport. Make some of her normals actually unsafe on block. Whatever. There's a HUGE PILE of stuff they can tune about this character and they'd have to tune ALL of it, HARD, to make her suck.

You'd have better luck asking in a specific character forum, because what you want to do at neutral with Jin (space, get into that 5C/5D/2D sort of range, annoy your opponent, close more if desired) is completely different from what you want to do as Valk (fly around, get right up close, do mixup, win.)
  20. That'd be IB only. 5CC > 6B is only 3 frames and will hit them during jump startup.
