Anything with a -X is disadvantage on block, implying that your opponent can move X frames before you can. Anything that is -5 on block can be punished (-2 for IB) But considering range/spacing punishing is not always possible. Different characters have different punishes, as some characters dont have 5f startup move/moves that are fast enough at certain spacings. Matchup knowledge is important! The -X number also signifies not canceling the move, so if you were to do lambda 5C, you would be at -8 (pretty punishable) but if you dod 5C > 6C, then you would end at -3 on block, as well as spaced a little better as 6C pushes your opponent backwards. However, theoretically speaking if someone with a 5 frame startup 5A IB'd 6C point blank and dashed for 1 frame and did 5A, it could punish you, so be careful~ Spike chaser and sickle storm are +20 and +70 something on block, so have fun with those! Your objective as a zoner is not to be up close, so dont worry too much about being atdisadvantage

another thing, losing shouldnt really bother you at all, haha. I mean, someone has to lose every match right? im pretty sure you arent the protagonist of your own e-sports harem anime (sorry, its me) A lot of new players (sometimes people who have been around for a while) have a certain...mindset towards losing? Like they shouldnt be losing at all, or it really weighs down on them. Thats really silly. Especially coming into the game so late, expectations to win more often than not are a little far fetched! Dont worry about it, just play to improve.

Everything is a netplay OS. "I lost because i dropped my OS" OSception no but really it works fine. Roll hitboxes are slightly larger so if you hit on like the last active frames of jC you are good. Probably gonna have trouble with rachel though, lol. Its helpful for getting to people to tech 3C, i guess. Worst case scenario you /force/ neutral tech oki with crossunder mixup etc
-
i mean if you do it during an emergency tech situation! Say, crossunder 3C. You can just autopilot it (watch the height when the 3C hits though). Im pretty sure you can get the dead spike to just barely connect on immediate neutral tech, and whiff on delayed neutral tech (leaving you at disadvantage, but not punishable, aka start mashing dp). Though if you get dead spike to connect as late as possible the adv is /huge/. theres a nice netplay OS you can do to mess with people who dont tech 3C immediately haha. 3C super jump into corner (whiff an air normal of your choice if you want to troll, i whiff airgrab for timing) come down with jC 662A~25C. jC catches forward roll/quickrise, whiffs on back roll for most characters but the 2A will hit them crouching at the end of the back roll. 2A input during jC hitstun does nothing so you can hitconfirm properly. If your opponent neutral techs, you get 2A crossunder mixup. If they dont tech and you time your jC well enough that it doesnt hit them not teching period you naked(!!!) 22C them. If they do tech and you already super jumped you can do like, super jump 66 DP RC for crossup, or just 66jC zzzzzzzzzzz

Yeah, i sorta get what you are saying, but Hakumen has a pretty defined gameplan lol. Hakumen is really strong. Most of the characters you listed rely on strong neutral play? Im probably gonna sound really retarded but when you are playing a character like ragna or plat you are seriously playing /blazblue/. A character like mu doesnt require the same type of play as she has a defined, strong gameplan already. Working with limited(by no means weak) tools makes you /really/ play fighting games. Also at the same time i dont like the idea of speeding up overheads and such. The pace of BB makes it what it is, a very calculated game. zzzzz i just want tsubaki to be really good and lose a lot of clothing

if you do it on EM tech (and time it properly) you can make sure you stay safe~
