  1. Liking the level of quality on the technical discussion thread's layout. Only if by silly you mean 10/10, would troll with again In fact, gonna change my user title to that. Needed a new troll combo to put there for CS:EX.
  2. I missed midscreen 22D x N so much from CS1 Tsubaki. NOW I HAVE A REPLACEMENT.
  3. That 3C troll combo is amazing.
  4. Not everyone is smart. How many people autoburst when Rags uses BK?
  5. Use that patented Bat technique where you ground install and then 214D. It eats bursts done immediately after you mugen.
  6. It is more practical, though. That's a good throw combo right there.
  7. 623C>wait until they're above you and whiff j.236A>do j.214D IMMEDIATELY
  8. I don't think he's that bad. Doll gives you plenty of options. You'll just have to think a bit more unorthodox. Like using Id>6D as a blockstring.
  9. Don't forget using 9D6 to airdash while also inputting Ignis 6D. That could become pretty useful.
  10. 3C is the key Relius pressure normal in my calculations, since it's the only one that you can jc on block to reset strings if you don't have Ignis, and I don't think any of the other ones are +.
  11. 22C was like that in CS1. Fully charged, it was +10, but it took /forever/ to get there. I think I made people block it twice, max. Was really rewarding when I did, though. Dem plus frames.
  12. It's definitely a supplement to understanding, not a replacement for a combo list. I just know it's easier for me to confirm on the fly if I understand how combos work in general for a character, so something like this is useful.
  13. So, this is a quick preliminary look at how I'd break down corner combos. Right now, I think it can still be made more accessible, but I want to get some feedback on whether or not my explanations make sense. I also think j.C might be a falling catch rather than an OTG, but >_>
  14. Maybe my exec was too weak, but that was way too spacing specific to be bnb-level.
  15. Amen amen amen PLEASE. I'll even do the goddamn combo theory writeup if need be, I just don't want to see a massive, intimidating list of combos that turns away everyone who comes near the forums in the first post.
  16. Nowhere, but he also makes it sound like you run one blockstring until your pressure runs out, which, frankly, is not a way I've ever heard anyone discuss blockstrings. So I made a distinction where a blockstring ender is something you can't or don't chain anything else off of (example, Tsubaki 6B), and a pressure ender is something you can't or don't chain anything off of that also doesn't allow you to continue pressuring (like what he states Ragna 2D is). Pressure enders would be a subset of blockstring enders.
  17. I said blockstring ender, not pressure ender. DS ends blockstrings because it doesn't chain into anything else; however, it lets you continue pressure on block and start a /new/ blockstring because it's plus. And yes, DS has startup and is therefore a bit of a risk to throw out, but /anything/ that lets you reset pressure will carry some risk. 2D ends your blockstring, but /also/ your pressure, because it's minus and has no gatlings without RC. Can't do anything after it.
  18. FC 3C recovers fast enough to link 5C. That should be more than good enough to block.
  19. Yes, 22C is faster than Dead Spike. However, both are blockstring enders that take primers, and one forces respect on block because it's plus while the other does not. It used to be good as it was +1. Now, not so much. I wish I had exact numbers for you, but I'm pretty sure it's not even safe on block. I'd like to wrong about that, though.
  20. It's good for breaking primers and that's it. Throws are there so you have an option for people who hold downback all day. They're unsafe if broken because, well, it's designed to be an option that gets through blocking no matter what. 22C doesn't quite have that level of usefulness to counteract the mediocre recovery. And compare it to, say, Dead Spike, which /also/ breaks primers yet leaves Rags at a comfortable +3 to keep momentum.
  21. AND TOASTY MOD. Hype moment is hype
  22. Aww shit. Gratz, Kurushii! Good job there.
  23. Can't read the input display very well. What's the input, 214B~C?
  24. The recovery is slow, Bat. Test it yourself. You should know that simply from trying to do 22C>6C in the corner. If you use it, it's the end of your pressure.
  25. You guys might want to consider integrating guardbreak into your game more in CSEX. 1 burst and one CA = 1 primer for almost all of the cast.
