And yeah, Urichinan, it does seem to work. I was lazy and didn't dash after chainsaw (did 6c>chainsaw>6b instead of 6C>chainsaw>dash 6b) but I did get a full combo. EDIT: I also checked just Toasty's comment in the general thread about 5b>2b connecting at max range. It doesn't connect at /absolute/ max range, but works at anything the slightest bit less. It's pretty practical.

My first guess is that'd prorate too heavily, but I don't know -- I overestimate how much things prorate a lot of the time. I'll check later.

Oh, lol. I thought you meant air-to-air, midcombo. That's an awfully situational combo. Relius's air normals aren't really suited for a ballsy approach like an airdash unless it's covered by chainsaw or something.

2D is definitely meter rape, and you need that meter to be able to do the more damaging combo variations. I get the feeling that learning to use 6D instead is going to be damn important. That's not to say it shouldn't be used at all, but you definitely need to be aware of how much Ignis meter it eats. Meter management is looking more important for Relius than I thought, after learning several corner combo variations.

j.8D has enough hitstun for you to land and rejump, so it'd be IAD j.BC8D land sjc j.b j.bc #IdHaas I understand not wanting to use Ignis meter, though.

Maybe j.8D rejump works better on some charas, and land 6B works better on others?

Just tossing this here in case anyone finds it useful. For the 6D IAD combo (xx>3C>6D>IAD j.bc8d>stuff), the doll 6D should be input as part of your IAD. So the combo's actual input looks more like xx>3C>9D6 j.bc8d>stuff. Also, it's really spacing-specific. Too close, and the IAD just goes past them.

Double mugen? Psh. Doing 100 meter combos for 50 heat is where it's at. Looping DP D>j.236D>j.214D gives you ridiculous heat gain.

So far, the only useful thing I have is 5bb>5cc>22c>236D>dash 5c>2c>236B>214B>22B. Good corner carry, but it's basically a CS2 combo, so = / EDIT: Gonna keep updating this post as things go. (5a)>5b>2c>214D>2CC>IAD j.CC>5C>2CC>236B>214B>22B. CHANGED: I just got 5bb>2c>IAD j.CC>5C>2C>236xx to work on Ragna. The IAD has to be low and precise, though. Omitting the 5BB would make life a million times better for you and make this a million times more practical. MORE CHANGE: I also have it working with IAD j.CC>5B>2C>236xx. I find this easier, but it does slightly less damage.

Well, I guess, I may as well ask this -- if you don't mind. Do you think there's a situation where making a strong read is a good choice?
