Lol might as well, since it'll probably end up becoming constructive trolling. Anyways, my thoughts are that we should make this relatively big, invite the others over and have a good time. We should probably hold it at MTLSFHQ and "reserve" it, since we'll need all the room we can get. Also, about the games we should have, I'll suggest BB and GG, with maybe AH3 if some people decide to sort of learn it between then. I'm opposed to an MvC3 tourney, since we don't want to get the place TOO crowded, but instead we could have MvC3 MMs if people are interested. Of course, there's no problem with any other games for MMs, like MBAA, FuC, SSF4, HnK, , etc. but let's keep the tourney count low. We'd need to have at least a second PS2 stick if we want to have a GG tournament though, Steb's being the only one I think. There used to be another, anyone know where it went or who it belonged to? I just want to apologize to people I played in tourneys, because I was trying out this new trick to try to help me with tournament nerves, and it implies swearing pretty loud when I screw up a motion, it's actually kind of effective because it calms me down, but I realize it's not the most respectful thing to do . The only thing that really made me salty this weekend was me dropping the game winning combo against Sophisticat's hakumen, allowed him to place a drive between 2 moves that were supposed to connect and it killed me -_-. Everything else, I complain a lot, but I'm not doing optimal combos most of the time so I know Mu has more potential than what I'm doing with her. And yeah, about Ottawa next month. For me it really depends on 3 things. 1) School, since the trip takes a good part of my weekend. 2) My relatives, if they're available. 3) Marvel, if I got better and become slightly competitive, since I really enjoyed the trip, but the BB community was rather small. I hope you guys grow, and I'll still participate in BB if I come back, but doing the trip every month for a few opponents... participating in MvC would motivate me more to make the trip.

Well 3 minimum, and so far that's me, Nolan, and Nini, so we're okay, but we could still take 1-2 more. It'll just split out the gas prices more, and since we're staying at my aunt's place for the night, the trip is gonna be really cheap (I think we're getting free breakfast ). After a couple of times not charging more than I should, I'll hold it down a slightly longer, and when I'm greedy, the entire way By the way, I'm more after the primers than high/low mixups since some of my regular local opponents just react to my overhead now and that -3 on 6B plus an instant block usually ends up being punished, so I prefer playing it safe.

At our last meetup, I was playing against one of my friends' Lambda, and it had been a couple of games that he'd used his burst in similar situations. So at some point, I land a 6B with 100 heat in the corner, and I'm 100% sure he'll burst. So I rapid, IB the burst, feel good about myself, and then I don't really know what to do, so I hit 5C, he blocks, I'm disapointed, and then jumps out and it's more or less back to neutral. So I'm just wondering, in a situation where you read a burst, rapid, and block it, is it possible to punish with a combo? If so, what's the best way to punish, or if you can't, is it worth the rapid? I prefer playing a passive zoning style than rtsd anyways, so getting knocked away isn't a problem. Also, does anyone have frame data for the amount of +/- on block of the different charge levels of SoD? I'm just wondering at what level of charge it becomes + on block. I'm asking because I like to play around with delaying it randomly against my opponents and therefore I'd be able to know with what I can frame trap the various charge levels. It might also be a good idea to post this info somewhere, the guide thread only says -10 and the wiki only says +10 with max charge... unless I'm blind and this has already been posted somewhere obvious

I've never actually tried comboing after CH laser air hits.
