HQ closed, we go to foonzo now, on Thursdays and Sundays, and usually Tuesdays too. Had lots of fun this weekend, hope you guys enjoyed it too. Still have some leftover beers so we'll have to do this again. I'll let you all know how much you owe me at some point this week. Going to have a poverty team tournament this Thursday, record and commentate the whole thing. (no entry fee) Do you guys prefer to chose teams or random teams? Very likely going to be 2v2.

I prefer the second one when you're the one in the corner though. It implies dashing under your opponent, and you can screw it up, so if you do, you can still go into 5B 2C j.C j.2C dash 2B 5C 6C if I'm not mistaken. (as opposed to doing gold burst 5A jc) If someone has a better one, please tell me, I use this A LOT. @mooddoofus : if you're getting 6A 2C instead of 6A j.2C it's because you're inputing the jump before the 6A actually hits, so the game doesn't register that you're trying to jump cancel it. Grind it so it becomes muscle memory because you're going to use it a lot.

Can't tsubaki cancel her 214 series into 22D? Just wanted to point that out because our local tsubaki likes to finish blockstrings with moves that are bad on block and suddenly cancel into 22X for a CH combo. Or at least I think that's what he's doing. So I deal with tsubaki's pressure kind of like against DP happy jins, back off, be patient, only take advantage with normals when they can't cancel (ex: whiff). So far, gold burst has done me a good job of getting out of 22D setups with a pretty decent reward.

local montreal boy Snafoo got top 32 and gonna be streamed get hype. He eliminated mike ross btw. Kirbster I think either the stream schedule is wrong or some BB players are going to setup their own stream for pool play. Or worst case scenario we'll have casuals, watch mvc, and drink.

Opening hours are Noon to midnight, and most people from our community usually show up around 5PM for meetups, but some show up earlier.

I'm really satisfied with Mu right now, I just hope the rebalancing is something minor, wouldn't want to end up with Mu not getting changed at all and every other character getting noel's misdcreen meterless (and CH-less) damage The only things I'd like would be to not have steins break combos (while allowing them extend combos as well). I don't really care if they don't do it though, I've gotten used to it. Maybe slightly more untech on raw 3C (still requiring RC to followup), that thing is annoying to confirm into a combo without a [D] setup. I've just been doing 3C RC dash 6A 6B recently, so if it hits, good, if it doesn't, 6B sometimes does.

GGs last night Level5, Nini, and Kr3wman. I think that's all I played. Meetup was pretty fun, foonzo is a great place for meetups. I think we really need to start doing weekly tournaments or something, generate even more hype. Keep it poverty though, maybe teams as well (so we can find some stupid names), single elim, best of one, record and commentate the whole thing. The plan for tomorrow is that in the morning I'm going with brice to laval, and then we'll go to Nini's place (plz give me your address) to pick up the nini, kirbster, and kr3w's TV. Then we drive all the way to kr3w's place (plz give me your address), trade the TV for the man himself and go to my place. I'll give you guys a better estimate of time when I speak to brice. BB pools are on Saturday, finals on Sunday. I don't know exactly what will be streamed when, but worst case scenario there's always marvel which is pretty hype at high level, and casuals. No alcohol for you if you're driving though @Nini: can't be there, but I'll be there on Thursday and maybe Friday.
