Unless I'm misunderstanding, I think C0R already covered that. The damage is awesome, but even though I practice this combo, I always confirm into my week 1 combo in a real match (which is something like j.C CH 6B 6A j.2C 2B 6A j.2C 2B 5C 6C or j.C CH 6B 6A j.2C 2B 5C SoD... if I'm close enough to the corner. either way terrible in comparison)

lol ken. I apologize if I offended you, we've been trolling nini with this because he happens to play mostly top tier characters, but we all know that somehow no one in our crew is really a tier whore, and I don't even consider picking only top tier characters a bad thing at all. I just think you shouldn't jump to conclusions as fast, some changes are not announced, and even these are not final. Don't think of your character being "nerfed" as a whole, think about how your playstyle will have to adjust to the changes. As long as your character has the tools to win (meaning there are barely no hopeless situations) and has more or less the same damage as the rest of the cast for the same situations (meaning you get rewarded evenly compared to you opponent for making good reads), you are not allowed to complain. (for example, this was not the case for CS1 rachel and tsubaki.) If you want to play a game where every character does gigantic damage off almost any midscreen hits, you might be interested in this game that even mixes both capcom AND marvel characters!? When that's what I feel like doing, I play that game, but when I want to play blazblue, I don't expect to win or lose a round based on one decision. -

>You deal less damage >You have to make more reads to win >The better player has more chances of winning >Matches may be longer >You guys Hi tier whores, welcome to the rest of the cast. (You now have to use meter midscreen to have decent combos, I'm guessing.) (neither me, brice, nor kr3wman are going to foonzo today) -

That sounds really neat (and very efficient). edit: if it can record logs it would be awesome. Add me on FB (Pedro Szaszkiewicz-Rodriguez), and I'll invite you to the group. -

I'm gonna guess pretty much all day saturday at otakuthon lol. But as for next week, probably Tuesday if people are up, and definitively Thursday. But hey that's it for "official" meetups, if anyone is wants to go to foonzo, post in the thread to check for interest, and people will reply if they feel like going. -
For the MvC3 team tournament, does this mean every team of 3 people can only have a total of 1 wolverine, 1 phoenix, and 1 dante? That you can't hold down an assist button right before the start of the match to switch your order? That other team tournaments aren't character locked? That team order for team tournaments isn't locked? Of course, montreal will be there. Pretty hype for a BBCS2 pot bonus

GGs last night guys, it was awesome (except for vice having to leave :S). I'm going to kinda turn the weekly tournaments into ranbats, but only for bragging rights. 1st place team gets 5 points, second place team gets 3 points, third place team gets 2 points, and everyone else gets 1 point. Thoughts? Website would be awesome indeed. Here's the MTLSF website : http://www.montrealstreetfighter.com/ it would be great to have something similar, ESPECIALLY the chat. We'll talk about this more. I'm sure a lot of people in our community have some skills that would help make this even more successful. Nini: these were the videos I was talking about yesterday(turns out veas/heero was the one I was thinking about lol) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WngUCyq7e4o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BhRWG6KM5E -

Time your approach with either a stein (charge or uncharged), or preferably a command laser (236D). Reset your pressure by cancelling a blocked C move into 236A. Use 236A as an anti-air, air-to-air, keepaway tool, rushdown tool, oki, just not in combos. But mostly you'll want to keep away by safely placing Ds, one at a time, anti-air their jump in, use 236A a lot. Only start rushing down when you feel really confident about it, or if your opponent is lambda or hazama. DO NOT IAD j.C A GROUNDED OPPONENT FOR NO VALID REASON.

Maybe it's a good thing (bad for us) that Tager isn't S++ tier this time. Who knows, maybe his 5A is now a level 4 move? I'll get there around 6:30. I hope it'll still be able to record the sound from the room... will it? I think it's better than the game sound, but since we know it'll be from your laptop, commentators will sit closer to it. PS: get TIO (tournament organiser) if you can, I don't have my laptop this time. Oh and I'll participate in marvel if I'm still there. -
Or just when you're keeping someone in the corner placing steins and they think they can catch you off guard... bam corner combo?

I dunno I like the simple format of dustloop. Going on forums where people have pictures or walls of text is kind of annoying when they post more than once. We're here to mainly discuss the game, organize events, and build communities. @Kr3wman : wat? -

Can someone please remember to bring a power bar today? btw, Nini, bring your laptop and recording setup, plz (in addition to the camera). -
Barrier guard - Larger knockback on moves with a higher attack level Instant barrier guard - Knockback is even larger, making it easier to get away How do you think these barrier changes will affect Mu?

oh pillows. we're probably only going to buy doujins. so you're safe. this time. I'm going to wait until players actually start giving more changes to see what's up with CS2+. Frame data, combo possibilities, damage and carry, etc. There's also going to be another loketest around SBO so don't think these changes are 100%. I'm in no way telling you guys to get less hype, though. -
Ragna : carnage scissors has projectile invuln. Sadface, no more habayaa>scissors. I wonder if you can do some ambiguous crossups or maybe even unblockable setups with air yata no kagami. Unblockable in the sense that if they hold back it crosses up and if they hold forward it doesn't cross up. (like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COIrpJrts6s)

naw you guys missed the point. cancelling air steins into reversals. Mind = blown. Unless they change other stuff, I think the barrier change is going to be to mu's advantage. Easier to get out of pressure, but with cancelling 5C into 236A we might just get better pressure ourselves if people are consistently using barrier.

Well I can tell you me and brice are gonna jump on Hen Da Ne as soon as we get there on friday, so if that's what you're looking for, come to the BB tournament instead there will be nothing left. You guys should check out the CS2+ changes. I'm pretty hype. -
I asked a friend to check it out, he said it has to do with using in the air. I'm confused though because DP in the air WAIT WHAT. edit : he also says also says they all finish with "is now possible"
