  1. In order to punish him you'll need very good blocking, as most likely IBing. Those Ragnas that play it safe nearly puts you in the position of being the one mainly on the offensive (Although your 'pressure' wont be that good as it should be 5B-2BB/5B-6A/5B-2B-6A/5B-3C then jump cancel) If they try running to you, you can try to stop them from coming in with 5B, but this trades with his 5C or 5B (either one I forgot) , or sometimes you end up getting hit. Again, depends on how 'safe' they are playing. It's more about getting to know your player. If they're good at blocking and like to block alot - 5B-22D If they jump cancel their strings alot, it gives you more time to charge. You can use 236D to start getting it and doing stuff.
  2. Although what you're saying is true, would you rather use 623D and get 4k your or attempt to make it a little safer? I'm not saying you have to do it all the time. Its' basically just your way of showing that Tsubaki is not supposed to be totally disrespected, even though her DP isn't that good. Also, Ragna shouldn't be doing HF on block anyway, unless it's likely that they'll RC.
  3. It can be. Unfortunately sometimes it trades with her drives. In this case you need to get used to IB-22B. None of Noel's drives are safe. And please, please, please. If she does air DD, run up to her, don't stand there and take the hit (unless you use 22B, but I'd rather be on the offensive). Air grab her. Attack her with an air unblockable. Something!
  4. Might be forgetting about 623D. Full invincibility, more range. Plus regardless of whether it hits or whiffs you could always follow up with J214D to make it safer if you have another stock.
  5. Ragna's normals are unsafe. You need to try and IB-DP him. Either that, or get used to blocking alot.
  6. At the start of the battle: 5B beats most of his attacks except for 5C. 22A beats his 5C and you get CH and wallbound. Get ready to press 5B into air combo. 22A trades with his 4D, both of which cause a wallbound. I also found out that 5A clashes with his 5B...
  7. Not too sure about 214D though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FsYt_TTOiM&t=9m22s Isn't Tsubaki supposed to be the one to get the CH? Especially out of 5B too....
  8. She can do that in CS1 too.
  9. Wow they gave 214D invincibility properties now?? Or am I just late in noticing this? Thanks for the links pktazn.
  10. Hi there. I noticed you too were in the london area and I wanted to ask. Would you be interested in participating in tournaments?

Hey there. I noticed you were in the London area and I just wanted to ask. Would you be interested in participating in london tournaments?

  14. One of the joys of online, lol. GGs man. Your Tsubaki is actually really good. We just need to help you with your matchups for example. Like I said when Noel uss 3C on block, dash up and use 2a, or alternatively you could use 22B, but it requires an IB. If they use 6B, expect a 3C since that's the only thing they can gatling into. If not, well 6B alone is unsafe anyway. Looking forward to playing you again, hopefully with better connection lol haha.

  15. I couldn't have said it any better. Although I wouldn't advice 6CC at all. 6C jump cancel is a possibility though. I added a little more information to the matchup against Tager and edited some stuff.
  16. I'd say watch your blockstrings. If A.X.I.S IB'd your strings that a free 360 for him. This is like the troll way to play against Tager but I think you you poke more with 5B to get your spacing right so you can set up unblockables. Btw, 360 beats 3c too. Well this is generally the way I would play against a Tager. I hope it does help you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_yjbsWMLB4&t=7m47s
  17. Lmfao. Well yea, I don't even know if I'm going on Thursday anymore. I may just go to a friends house and we'll play there or something. 2 days left, get hype.

  18. You'd be surprised. I actually might stick with the stick lol. Lol that mini fillet will never exit your mind I now know lol. Also I'll be down at casino on thursday only. Not Friday though unfortunately.

  19. Hm. I don't think that combo will work on most characters mid screen. I have had that same problem, which is why I wouldn't use it. It's a one charge mugen combo btw. What about: 22D - 6C - 214214D - 623D - j.236D - j.214D - 214D (after multihits) - 22D - (run in) 2CC - 5C(whiff)C - etc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3XoHYc5ncg&t=3m6s Requires 3 stock. If I had 2 charges I'd end with the 214D and use 2CC from there. Apologies if this was posted before. Just trying to help.
  20. Yea that's the case with Ibuki. I think I'll stick with my pad scrub Ibuki though, lol. I'd play it casually but like you said it's not something I could dedicate myself too. Also, I cannot attend that event that day because I have a lecture unfortunately. Although If I can find some way around it/something happens, I'll be sure to be there. I'm pretty much a scrub on stick though, so don't expect anything major lol.

  21. That'll help Gin I remember seeing the WHOLE post like 8 pages ago...
  22. Lol :p SSFIV is a good game but it has so many things with it that really get on my nerves. I dunno if this is just me, but I find that on SSFIV I can easily lose to scrubs. This isnt the case with T6 or BB at all. SSFIV has that something about it that really puts me off. Which is why I'm reluctant to enter SSFIV tournaments. On a side note, I happen to use Ibuki too heh, although I've tried to play the game on stick, and she's such a bitch to use.

  23. I guess that's true. I'll try, but like they're characters that appeal to me as subs, I wouldn't really take the time into using them much. I want to sub Valkenhayn though. Not because he's good. I told you how I usually use Beast type/female characters right? People are kinda urging me to use him, as well as Blanka for SSFIV.

  24. Well, look at Kaqn for instance. In many vids he has used Tsubaki, Hakumen, Ragna and Jin, and he's still good. There is also another player called Shadow2bolt. He uses like half the cast and he's really good. Picking up more characters just helps you to get a better understanding of how the character could/should be played and you'll know what to expect when playing against them. You'll know what to punish and what to be aware of. Having said that, I was actually considering of picking up Platinum and Mu-12 but I think I have my limits.
