  1. Lmfao. I'm glad it helped. Yup I have to be cautious, it's about timing. I have to slightly delay it to get a CH, otherwise her 4D will beat it clean. I have to input it just as she intiates the move. Thanks!
  2. Lol! Thanks. I need to remember I can use Air throw - 5C rather than 2B when I'm closer to the ground. Also I think I need to use 5D more instead of 2D. I use it for the assumption that I'll be able to gain stock quicker. It'll also help because I'll be able to time my blocking better. Kept getitng hit by those Optic barrels. I should also use 214D more to stuff Noel's wakeup options. -Finals coming soon-
  3. LTGxPGC Top 8 Kiba (Tsubaki) vs Hexanoid (Noel) Enjoy.
  4. Thanks! I hope I can contribute useful information as well as develop my Valk in the process.
  5. Couldn't you use a reversal on Ragna if he does that? Ragna has limited options after 5D (Any special followup) all of which can be beat with Valk's reversal. On a side note, I think 5C beats his options from a distance. In a case where you hit him with 5C CH followup with 236C into shiz.
  6. I have been playing this matchup with some time, and overall it's generally a nuisence since Noel's Drives are faster in a chain. However, it's also more annoying for me mainly probably because unfortunately my movement with Valk is still in the developing stage. I'm going to give very little information though because I'm still not completely knowledgable on Valk. Usually w/o a reversal/dead angle you usually have to sit and take what Noel does to you unless you're a risk taker in which case you could use 6A? Punishes: If the Noel player uses 3C, you can punish it with 5B, and it does not require an IB. Since Noel will be crouching you can do 5B - 5C - 236C - XXXX
  7. I've seen it. Thanks for that, it was extremely useful. On a side note, I have been lurking in the Valkenhayn section to find and clarify information, but I figure I should get to know you guys and stuff. I'm not new to Valkenhayn, but I am new to this section.
  8. I know of you! I think I remember seeing some of your SSFIV matches on YT, and also I've seen you around SRK Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
  9. I wanted to see more Ten action, he's always enjoyable to watch. As with the A-cho matches, those combos were definately a pleasure to watch. I love dat abuse of 236D lol, and the player was quite solid. Thanks for those.
  10. PSN Kiba - BlackJaguarXD - England Nice avatar pktazn.
  11. That sounds cool sure thing dude!
  12. That was fantastic. I loved seeing how both the super and 214D can be used to avoid practical moments. That goes for the astral too! I loved seeing the variation of combos especially, it's really nice to see Tsubaki doing that, and it seems like you've grasped the CH 5C combos haha! Thank you Batousai.

  14. @TD Nice Tsubaki. With those JCs you're doing on block you could probably go for some fuzzy guards as well. Also out of curiousity, why do you use 5BB on block? I'm only asking because I'm worried that Tager can just 360/720 w/o even IB. This applies to 3C as well You were also too close to Tager at a time when you hit him with an unblockable, not to mention you were magged on top of that. Again he could 360/720 you out of that.
  15. That's great. It just means Tsubaki has a fairly safe way to get in and get a primer off at the same time. I've been noticing her guard break alot of opponents recently.
  16. I was thinking the same thing. I've yet to see anyone attempt to punish it with a DP or something. We can assume for now that it is + on block?
  17. In the circumstance where he was cursed, it probably would've been better for Dix to block at times rather than to attack. JD in the air while cursed was also risky. He needs to try to play a little more patient, rather than trying to rush in when there are bugs setup. He also dropped a few combos. Was that deliberate? I'm especially talking about the one he dropped after a confirmed hit with 236D.
  18. It's just that I think I finally realised why I kept getting hit out of it, but it's still definately a useful move. Also, trust me, you know to now your stuff when it comes to these things on frames. I'm clueless about 'em and only really know about what gives an advantage or not. Ha. For 214D, it depends on the player. If you get the player into the corner and you find out they lke to try to jump out you can use it to catch them, since it's air unblockable. Followed by 22D, and then the standard air combo with 3 stock in total (Including 214D) that's about 6.3k? You could even use 214D-214214D and go for 6.3k in total. 214D-214214D-623D-J214D-6CC-JC-J236A-J214C- TAP JD then while falling-JC-5B-JBC-JCC-J236A-J214C (Corner combo only) Following 214D you can follow up with unblockables, or you could even just use 5B for more pressure. They both work against players that mash buttons, although setting up for the unblockable depends on the character you are against, and the range. Of course, feel free to try out the move and experiment with it. You could even find out new things! Edit: I also forgot to mention that it's also a good idea to use 214D if you try to AA your opponent but they barrier block it. 214D will put you at adv if they block the followup, or in the event where they drop their barrier, then thats a combo start for you. Doing this on opponents who are in the air but fairly close to the ground is risky though. For example, Tager could 360/720 you out of the 214D. Because I've conditioned some Tager players in a way that they backdash my 5B-22D game, I use 214D to attempt to catch backdashes but it's risky.
  19. That's not true I only astral depending on specific circumstances lol. That time, I guess it was because it was a tournament I kinda wanted more hype? I dunno. Well, at least, you guys aren't Noel players....
  20. D: I agree with you. I only started to realise how good it is.
  21. Actually it's more like very rarely. It isn't. I could use 623D, or I could've even used 214214D to give myself more invincibility frames.
  22. Wait, did 623D lose full invincibility?? The Ragna managed to dead spike her out of it...
  23. Lol! Just remember his 5C beats your 5B. Also, he may not be able to IB-360 5B, but he can 360 you OUT OF 5B, because of the range it has...:/
  24. To be honest, it's better if you don't use ANY sort of pressure string on him, even if it's short.
