  1. Provided that Lambda does something after 3C/6C, be it 236A (Not when she's really close to you though), 236B, 236C, 236D or 214D, 632146 will beat it. The better Lambda players will recognise that they will need to measure distance when deciding to initiate 214D/236D. If they're further away you'll get caught in their attack which grants them a full combo. Her 3C goes under our 5C (and our CA ) , and her 6D will catch you if you backdash at the start of the round.
  2. Tachikawa Ragna vs Tsubaki http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GEe0G_VkGM Sigh.....
  3. I tested it, and it works if Mu uses 236A/5D/2D. If she uses SoD, she'll get a FC.
  4. Actually surprisingly it doesn't. Oh fair. Thanks
  5. Oh come on dude! She can also run underneath you to get more stock. Depending on spacing she can even use 214D, which can be cancelled into the unblockable. I may be wrong with this, but midscreen, meterless, Tsubaki doesn't get 4k off an air throw.
  6. If Mu uses 6C on block, provided that you IB'd it, can you counter with 214D? It SEEMS legit, and should get past her 5D, 236A, and SoD..
  7. Lol. Continuing to block risks us losing at least 3 primers for free and gives you more mixup oppurtunities. If you see Noel use 4D, DP her ass if she's gonna followup. If she isnt going to follow up, 214D/22D may help.
  8. Lmao. In Japanese it's known as ame no habaya. In the frame data, it's known as arrows of heaven, which is 236A.
  9. Ah I see. Fair enough. Y'know I'm actually quite surprised I didn't notice that at first. You didn't take any damage that should've been the first sign but I guess it's late here...lol. I actually didn't know Arakune had that! See that's what I was thinking too, but thanks for the clarification! Don't worry about it. You'll go to more and you'll get used to it. Although I'm really in no position to say a thing like this because this is exactly how I feel after watching my gameplay matches even if I win. All you can really do is take it as a lesson and learn from it. That way, you're bound to do better next time. I should be saying this to myself too however...
  10. I enjoyed watching you play Orion. I also learned alot At 4:37, what combo were you planning to do from the wolf grab? Also I died inside when I saw Dabbit grab you when you used 5B, and 236A on his IB. I didn't realise 236A was THAT unsafe for a free grab.
  11. Dat 6A corner combo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDNLB88KAcg&t=29m49s Tsubaki vs Taokaka Tsubaki vs Taokaka Tsubaki vs Jin Litchi vs Tsubaki A-Cho http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLNItIy-OeE&t=3m33s
  12. 6A-5CC is very tight. You can't IB-DP this string, or maybe you can, but if so, it's extremely difficult. You can IB-DP Tsubaki in between her 2BB and 5BB. IMO though, you're better off blocking and reacting to overheads..there's not much mind game mixup she can do without stock. Edit: Although I consider that Mu can get Tsubaki away from her and setup more steins and stuff to make Tsubaki's approach game difficult. I think I see one reason why Tsubaki players may want to bait the DP....
  13. In all honesty it may help you even more to watch ANY Valk rather than just the more better ones.
  14. Sorry, I meant the 236236C reversal, and hotaru still beats 623D, so you need to be careful about your wakeup options.
  15. I use it after 5CC because the distance is perfect for avoiding small ranged normals. I usually only use it after 5CC when I can condition the player to block. With that said, you'll usually be eating alot of unblockables in this matchup and maybe alot of throws. You'll find that Tsubaki may mainly be poking you rather than inflicting some sort of pressure on you. If you can IAD into Tsubaki with JC from far it will usually score you a CH. Her AA can't reach that far, but be sure to measure distance accurately. You getting hit with her AA will usually result in you getting put into the corner where the unblockable is a bigger threat. I'm not sure if you can TK hotaru it though on your wakeup. Speaking of which, your hotaru beats our DP, including the D version, and our reversal is a projectile. We have to block on our wakeup otherwise we'll face a FC for free.
  16. How do you intend to lock her down from the beginning? Because of the wolf movement Tsubaki is always going to be moving around and will only be charging when she scores a knockdown or when she's full screen away from you. You need to be careful onthe way you approach her. If she counters your movement, that's a knockdown plus stock for her. I wouldn't advise using wolf form at the beginning of the match because I'm sure Tsubaki can catch you with 22A, and again, that'll lead to her getting stock.
  17. Realistically, she's always going to get stock against Tager. She can just run underneath you, and rinse and repeat. Alternatively, she can air grab you. A player wouldn't continue to charge once they see you getting in on them like that.
  18. I can help with this matchup. There's a risk in moving around in wolf form alot in this matchup. She has a very AA which beats any wolf form approach you try from far, and she can get in easily with 236C/D, so be careful moving on the ground in wolf form. However because of this, since Tsubaki can get charge easier, and get in very easily, I would advise to move around alot and keep an eye on your wolf gauge. Make sure you're out of her 236C/D range and definately not in her AA or 214D range either, since both options will most likely take you to the corner. If Tsubaki goes for an unblockable attempt (assuming she's at max range) she will still be in your 5C range (I think). Since it'll be a CH you can do 5C - Rozen - etc
  19. Not sure if this has been mentioned. -In the corner, with two stocks- 6A - 5CC - 22D - 6CC - 623C - J236A (whiff) - J214D - 5C(whiff)C - 2CC - 22C - 5C - 2C - 236B - 214B - 22B 3.7k Personally I get alot of stock when im in the corner and usually I get hits from 2B and 6A and I wanted to make it as painful as I possibly can.
  20. Dw about it Airk Yea Errol is correct. You can only combo from 623C/D.
  21. Nah Airk I didn't use the 623A at all, well at least I don't think, since there is genuinely no good reason for me to use it over 623C.
  22. I've actually started doing that recently and I've been getting alot of CHs lol. I'll try 5B-5CC more though. Yea I might actually have to start doing that to bait his DPs. Funnily enough I was thinking the same thing. I'm not entirely sure about the RC during it's startup though, sorry. Every little helps You've also given me some thought on some strings. Thanks alot. I block against him, but if he does anything into 2D I usually DP. Anything he uses after 5D may be a high (214B) and will most likely be unsafe so I DP that too. SOMETIMES I DP after he uses dead spike too. Online matches with Daedron. Hope you don't mind dude. 23. Not sure if it's a good idea, as I understand it'll take a long time. How about putting all the videos together in the first post of the video posting thread? Just a thought. It'll be easier than navigating through pages to find videos, and it can be updated with future vids.
  24. Funnily enough I noticed the 5C CH. Another thing to bear in mind, thanks. You guys have really helped with the way I can/should adapt my game and I really appreciate it. Ah understandable. I'll talk to others so we can try to make the commentary more appropriate and informative. Bear with me personally though please, because I can't commentate at all. I'm still trying to get better.
  25. Yea you're absolutely right. Thanks I'll bear that in mind next time, and I'll see what I can do at this week's tournament!
