  4. Mm. Makes sense. I wonder what your getting hit with on oki and if its your character or your persona. The only things I can think of that are viable is you eat DP on wakeup trying to do Oki or she does wakeup drill and hits the persona...

  6. Sorta confused why you would get persona broken in this matchup...Are you throwing out 5C a lot?!?! Her DP is kind of frustrating when she has meter, but aside from that it's pretty punishable. You also can't safe jump it as it hits both sides. Same for wakeup 5A...can't safe jump that haha This is definitely a patient type of matchup. If you ask me, pressure should be less geared torwards actually getting a hit and more towards baiting unsafe moves (ie whiff throw/DP) and punishing respectively.
  7. Haha. I was trying to do that earlier actually, but the dummy kept dropping out of the 236236D. It's also very dependent on how many hits 5DD lands (more hits = more proration > harder if not impossible to combo) @ excelence I didn't actually try the combo in default axe (I'm lazy), so I did the whole thing in green and it did between 5-6k? The key is 1 hit 5D, then delay the 5BB after the 5B so that the persona goes away before doing the next j.BB (or j.B > j.C for simplicity)
  8. I'm pretty sure you cant throw 214AB into that combo...since 214AB doesn't hit airborne targets of 5B or 5AA and 5 forces off the ground (ie. airborne) state. So you could do: 5 > 214AB > 22A > 5A > 5B/2B > blah or 5 > 22A > 5A > 5B/2B > blah Both options prorate really hard though since you are effectively forcing SMP into effect (I believe 5b and 5 fall in the same boat for SMP) as well as chain and possibly SB guillo. You either do 5B twice, or 2B twice Here's something that I know works and doesn't prorate too hard: 5 > 5C > 2C > 5D > j.BB > jc. > j.BB > j.C > 214B

  11. Green axe: If by you mean charged, then you're probably stuck doing 236B -> 6 -> A followup or A+B followup midscreen. Options open up in the corner...but I'm sure one of the others will get to you on that one For non-charged its obviously distance dependent (midscreen): Very close: 5B > 2C > B+D charged > 2A/5A > 2B > air combo 5B > 5C > 2C > B+D charged > 2A/5A > 2B > air combo 5B > 5C > 2C > super jump air combo Close (right outside 5A range) can do all the 5B > 5C > 2C > charge B+D stuff Far (anything farther than Close) means stuck doing the boring stuff 5B > 5C > 2C > 236A (delayed) > 6 > A (A+B??) 5B > 5C > sweep > oki For red axe, the charged variants should be similar despite fatal counter midscreen The difference is the uncharged variants where you can pretty much do whatever you want Fatal 5B > dash 5A Fatal 5B > dash 2A > 2B Fatal 5B > (5C) > 2C > B+D loop etc etc Edit: I'm a an meant to say 236B, 5 blowback is too fast and goes too far for 236A to catch it

  13. I like 5D oki, but you cannot get it from spike hit. Spike forces persona to stay out long after when you would want to throw 5D. They can just poke you out of 5D startup at that point.

  17. Midscreen CH 5b leads into blowback? the aerial knockback state. What do you do when you confirm this? 236B > A followup? 236B > AB followup with meter? Nothing?? imo CH 5b normal (non-charged) can be more rewarding since it doesn't force aerial state, but bleagh Guess I'll also tack in these fun questions. What do you do on confirmed 5c aerial hit? What do you do on confirmed 5b (non charged, non-CH) aerial hit?

Ender alternative: 5A > j.A > j.A > j.C > j.214B > 236236D Well I'm hardly well informed of red axe combos, since my playstyle doesn't rely on them at all

Let's take 2 easy examples: 5AAAA 4th A is A guillotine, if you IB A guillotine, then you get free 5A (you probably lose charge trying to IB?), but your 5A is GUARANTEED to hit if you time it 5AAA 214B 4th is B guillotine, this is unpunishable EVEN IF YOU IB. However, you can 5A out of the A3 -> 214B chain, so again its free Now the fun part is...if you try to anticipate 5AAA 214B and poke out after the A3, you will eat CH 214A should they choose. Alternatively, if you anticipate the latter case, she gets off scott free

  22. Yes. Just because a game is "bad" or "stupid" or "broken" does not mean you should not play it. I personally don't like SFxT not because I think it's "bad", but because I don't have fun when I play it. I think that's the key that people miss when they dismiss a game (especially one they have never played personally). That would be funny if cross slash did have projectile property, but that would mean Yukiko can DP through it or Mojuu will eat it

  24. If you've got balls, do it after a knockdown on Akihiko. Space it outside of his jab range so he pretty much has to either throw kill rush and risk getting counterhit or block. Charged B after a point becomes plus on block and you can cancel it into high/low. They can always try to roll through, so spacing is very important.
