I considered going but then, *Venue Fee: $25.00 *Super Street Fighter IV Entry Fee: $15.00 *Blazblue: Continuum Shift: $10.00 So all in all $55 bucks to go 0-4 in 2 games? I'm good. I'd rather just keep playing at meetups until we have a big enough scene to organize smaller $5-$10 tourneys that I can go 0-2 at.

I don't know what the Ragna player was thinking. Seem like he was trying to use Belial Edge to dive kick the Valk player. Frigiddeath should enjoy that. Noel vs. Hakumen The Noel player just steamrolls Haku. Zappa vs. Venom This was hello entertaining lol.

Cath has grapples but she's not a grappler in the same way Zangief, or Tager is. EDIT: What Mightfo said. Even Kira doesn't really feel like Gief. Arcana Heart is really different. Next meetup I could bring my copy of AH1 and you could check it out.

I'm not saying its not a good game. I'm not even saying its not technically a better game than 98UM. I just like 98 more. When I played 2002 I was just like, "WTF is this shit? Fuck this game." When I played 98 I was like, "Oh gawd I want to marry this game." -shrugs- Lets just hope XIII hits early next year so we can all just agree on that :P EDIT: Its just like a lot of people LOVE XI. Its not bad but, I dislike a bunch of things about it. I'm just picky about my SNK games I guess.

2002UM has slightly better character selection but, Ultimate Mode is fucking godlike. Extra Groove is really good for some characters, particularly the ones I play Kyo, Iori, Takuma and so on. 2002 aggravates me because its the same sprites from '97 in a 2002 game. I just never really cared for it. 98UM is KoF to me. That is until XIII comes out. Also, unblockables aren't that big of a deal anyway.

On a completely unrelated note, when is SNK Playmore gonna stop teasing me and release KoF98UM for the PSN and XBox Live? I don't like 2002UM but, I'm in fucking love with 98UM.
