Ok, this much of it works, it's just really specific as to what height she needs to be at when you start the loop. Actually, the standard loop (S, HS, SVD x2, 5P (H)SVD, (5P SVD)) works on her too, but you have to be running to start it. Bitch falls just like AB. Fortunately, she's way easier to kill.

Actually, we can do this trick. It's a little funky, but you would use the same motion used for running TK Youzansen with Baiken. Looks something like this; 66(run), 632963H. Trust me, it works, and gives you an incredibly low RR depending on how fast you do the motion. Not too sure how practical it is, but it's at least possible. Quick question though. What sort of tensionless loop do you typically do vs. Dizzy? I'm trying to determine the best loops for each individual character, and she falls really funny, almost like AB or RO. Oh, and Kyle is indeed magic itself.

The other thing is that good players almost NEVER burst predictably, and trying to guess when they will is mind numbingly hard. If you guess wrong, and they don't burst, then they got out and STILL have their burst. It's not worth the risk most of the time, the exception being when they have no life left and are on their last round, but even then, they know that you know they should burst, and might not just because of that. The short version is as Kyle said, which simply goes: DON'T BAIT BURSTS!!! -

Jump Install. When doing the 5S, 5H, dolphin, tap 8 after the 5S. -

What time are you guys gettin in, Kyle? We should be there around 8-9 tomorrow night. Gotta get some hawt sexy dolphin on dolphin action. -
Funny shit happend last weekend against Slayer. I set a P hoop from about half screen away, he DOTs...and gets stuffed completely by the hoop water! Pure hilarity. I also have quite a bit of experience against Chipp, here's some stuff that isn't listed already: -Stay on the move if you can, as a lot of his mixup depends on you being scared to move. If you fear him, you die. - Be patient and don't freak out if he succeeds in mixing you up. He's gonna have to do this at least 2 more times to kill you, while you get one CH and...well, you know th rest. -If he is above you in the air, DON'T FUCK WITH HIM. You will eat CH j.D and prolly lose 40% and get knocked down. Just block it and go from there. -Air throw is best AA, but be careful as his j.S is ridiculously hard to throw. -If he gets in and makes you block c.S or Gamma Blade, DON'T FUCK WITH HIM. He's at +2 after c.S and +5 (yeah, I know) after Gamma Blade. If you must do something, 1F jump the fuck out. -You can still delay during loops, but don't delay as much as you would against other chars. His teeny hitbox lets him tech out if you delay for too long.
-
Bridget's mixup sucks. Safety (which is still debatable) aside, good luck breaking through anyone's guard with his weakass set of options. Even if you do, at most you'll get 40ish % damage with no knockdown. So you bust your ass to get the hit, and you can't do shit with it once you do. Bug loop hurts, yeah, but once again, to set that up requires your opponent to be totally concentrating on something other than the match. I'd say "breaking out of pressure" would better be described as "avoiding pressure altogether." This is the one thing I think Bridget has on the rest of the cast. His movement is amazing, so he can often simply avoid the shitty situations that most characters have to work to deal with.

Haven't fought TB since you posted it, but it does answer quite a few questions about the match that I had. I've been working on the Ky guide today for a little while now, so it shouldn't be too long. -
Chipp can FRC banzai and j.D the fuck out of your 6P (which loses to this god forsaken move), for the record. He can also Gamma Blade, which is good no matter what as long as it makes contact.
-
That was Garrett. He's been really inconsistent in AC due to school kicking the shit out of him since its release...that weekend was his first time playing the game in almost a month lol. He's a beast when he's on his game, and Jais will vouch for that, I'm sure. I'll do Zappa real quick like. -2P. A lot. If it hits, sweep him and set a yoyo. If it doesn't, run up and do it again. That's it. That's the whole match. You think I'm fuckin with you, but I'm not.
-
A couple of things about the Chipp fight that I had to learn the hard way; -If he gets inside on you, and you block a c.S, DO NOT HIT ANY BUTTONS. If you do, you will get CH and knocked down, probably in a painful manner, then you get to guess. -Same thing with Gamma Blade. It's +5, and perfect CH bait to lengthen a string. -I am not a fan of razor roger in this fight, nor any roger move, really. I would just set the yoyo and don't fuck with it any unless it gets too far away from you. Roll, roll, roll. It helps you maneuver around him, and makes him have to think about where he teleports. Fun Fact: If you are RFDCing, and he teleports with H or D, you can snatch him out with an airthrow before he finishes materializing. Looks hilarious. -Along the same lines, j.P is generally your best AA in this fight, and if the yoyo is out, a full double roll aircombo will take 50% off his bar. -Be careful about setting or calling back the yoyo. No matter what you're doing with it, if he isn't knocked down, you are potentially setting yourself up to be CH by a random FRC teleport > CH j.D. This is bad. -Use delayed getup liberally, as it'll fuck with his oki more than most chars. It also safely gets a yoyo into play. Sup guys, u miss me?

Not that it really matters, but I'm fairly sure that Testament teamed with Kaqn was Yukinose, not Shonen. Oh, and thanks for the B-Day wishes, Kyle. You should let me on the May team as a present. -
I wanted to wait until Psycho got more of them up, but since he's being lazy(doing homework), we've only got one up for now. Don't mind the dude with the camera yelling his ass off, he's never seen ABA before and didn't know about the IK thing. Frank The Tank(MA) vs. Moroha(AB) This was from the C3 team tourney last weekend.

Against ABA, yeah. OHK the bitch for the last KD, and you have plenty of time to activate and kill her adorably when she wakes up and transforms. EDIT: Double post - Because I got somethin worth sayin. TechnoDrome Lets Kick Shell. -

Not quite. You JI to make sure that if you do some sort of FRC>AD finisher, you're always ready to go (Ex: 5S, JI, 5H, HSVD, FRC, AD, j.H, etc.). I do it often, but now I normally just do it on the second rep of the loop. In practice, though, I do it for every single rep. It is a good habit, provided you know when you shouldn't do it. -
Honestly, Sly played that match perfectly. The huge problem (/brokenrecord) is that Buri can't really get damage unless you fuck up and give it to him. It takes the most basic of blocking skills to see his overheads, and even if u do get hit low, the proration makes the combo hurt even less, and not enough to justify using tension to extend it (although, since wtf else are you gonna do for damage, you pretty much have to sometimes). Basically, if you force Bridget to come to you, he can't really do much. When I fought Kyle at NEC, he played the fight the exact same way. He chilled back and threw dolphins from time to time, and I think we both got multiple neg penalties during the match. The difference was that he did a fuckton of damage when he hit me, and I got maybe a KSMH when I hit him. It was seriously a boring match to watch, but damn fun to play.

What this guy said. Essentially, the Ky fight is all patience. Just wait it out, generally the first guy to try to force some offense is the one that eats big damage and loses. Don't let this be you. (No, that's not all I've got. It's just...Lord Raptor beckons.) -

I hear ya Kyle, I'll be posting some vids soon for critiquing anyways. I'll just have to CH 5H my way onto the team. Oh well, if all else fails, I might be able to get on the Buri team lol. -
Hey Kyle, what happened to the guides? This past weekend and the beatings incurred on me made me want to for-real learn May instead of the bullshit I had been doing. Where are those massive combo listings? Edit: Put em back up and I'll tell you how to beat Harrison:eng101: . Edit Again: Whoops, found em. Never mind.
-
I don't really dust too much, cuz Buri's dust is ass, so if I do I normally have a held yoyo ready if(when) it gets blocked. When that happens and it hits, I do the standard Gatling dust combo. I used to do the cool j.2S x2, 3set thing, back when I would dust on purpose.
-
3P CH wins against it. If you're not directly in his face the whole time, this fight is a pain in the ass for you. 3P like you're fighting Slayer (which, as you might guess, means this fight sucks:gonk: ), cuz it seems to have the same effect albeit being hella risky. You HAVE to RTSD in this fight, as everything you can do to zone, he can do way better and for more damage. In other news, I'm starting to identify with Andrew about the whole "boring AC Buri" thing. I mean, I'm still playing him (despite fully believing he's the worst character in this game), but goddamn it's getting old. On the plus side, it's given me a reason to learn how to Slashback.
-
So the truth comes out. I wouldn't do such a thing (Byron be quiet).
-
At the right distance you can do CH 2S~whiff 2K, immediate j.P~2S~etc. Against Anji (and prolly other chars too, just haven't tested it yet) you can do j.P~j.S~j.2S xx Roll~j.2S, dj. stuff for good damage. EDIT, This is the most useful application. Jais
