:psyduck: I'm going to sleep. Just...wtf.

Ed has told multiple people (people that "look like him," as he likes to say, which means black people) that he believes that white people should be "eradicated from the earth." When Roski tried to make peace with Ed for the good of the tournament scene, Ed agreed, and they said they would promote each other's tournaments...and Ed talked massive shit about Lucky's the whole time to every new player he could talk to. Ed straight up stole Demo's food at Final Round, and attempted to start a fight with Q and Phil after they called him on it. He then blamed his behavior towards Q on me, who wasn't anywhere near the room at the time this happened. The stories are endless, but they all end the same.

Games. My house. In like 2 hours. Hit me up.

You have 10 frames from the start of the opponent's throw animation (7 frames after getting grabbed) to break a throw. This means that yes, they are reactable...but they aren't at gamefrog, nor are they online. You have to guess in those environments. So you complain about people who won't go to a gathering because Ed will be there, and you won't go to Wilmington because of fucking Will?
-
...okay. Stop Edding this thread up with your lists of shitty games. Dude still listed KOF12 and shit. Jon, that is stuff that Roski, Rick, Blake, and I discussed in Wilmington. It's what every top player I know that's ever played you in anything has told me. Anyways, outside of all that, there will be games played at my place tomorrow afternoon-evening. Probably starting around 5 or so.

The fact that you lose so hard to downback is proof of your problem. When people just block>react, you get (more) desperate and start doing (more) unsafe shit. This is why you lose to Rick; he knows that if he blocks long enough, you'll give him what he wants. Your play is the reason for this. It's common knowledge around here that learning how to beat Jon doesn't make you any better at *insert game*, it just teaches you how to beat Jon. The reason for this is that you always have this desperate feel about you when you're playing. You're throwing reckless reversals in casuals like you want to win every game, which comes at the expense of learning how to get better. I hope you don't take that as being an offensive type of post, because it wasn't intended to be. I'm just trying to shed some light on the way that quite a few players in this state view things.

I gots to work this Saturday. You guys should come up some Tuesday if possible.
-
PM me next time and I'll get you my info.
-
even moreso when you see Ogawa's name in the title as well, along with part1-part8.
-
So that's a reason not to play them? God, your lack of logic never ceases to amaze me. Now, on to the point of this post. AUSTIN WATCH THESE

They end when she does a super that you gotta block when you tech up (you better neutral tech or you eat it for free into another combo which builds 50% for another super into the exact same situation). That character is retarded. Far worse than anything in CT imo. Why wouldn't I play her? Games at my place tomorrow, as per usual. Let me know if you're interested.

...DUBDUBDUBDUBDUBDUBDUBDUBDUBDUBDUBDUB Well you gotta decide if you want to play games more than you don't want to walk into my house. Seems pretty simple. Goddamn Litchi is fun/HARD. I may eventually main her and just secondary Arakune.

We play at my house every week (Tuesday), sometimes multiple days, but Tuesday basically ALWAYS happens. Games played are SSF4/BBCS/GGAC/MBAA/more acronyms.

Art was drilling focuses on reaction. You can focus the slide, but that's really about it, and against observant players that's not a good idea, due to the upcoming bit of info. Wrong. Roundhouse drill is -4 on first frame of guard, but has 6 active frames. Therefore, it can be up to +2, and against good Rose players, that's exactly what it's going to be 95% of the time. What's significant about this, and what ties into the previous statement, is that the distance where RH drill is + also happens to be optimal slide distance. Basically all of this is incorrect as well. U2 is an INFALLIBLE reversal; it's never ever wrong, and the mere presence of an active U2 bar gets you out of shitty situations without you even having to do anything. U1 is still quite useful against a lot of characters (Dictator, Rufus, FB characters etc.) which is demonstrated by Art on a regular basis. The hitboxes on quite a few of her moves were changed as well, the most notable of which being low fierce (that shit lost to tons of stuff in Vanilla that it NEVER loses to now). I misunderstood some things Art said about Rose at Lucky's, and I was doing some kind of crazy wierd shit with the frame data (I'm fairly sure that it was different on the wiki than it is now or some shit) that led to James's statements lol. Regardless, the character is braindead good, and one of the main reasons I'm starting to sour on Super is that the boring good characters are clearly the best. Nick is more and more right every day.

That thread made me want to vomit a little bit when I thought about writing it. Then I thought about Carl in general and actually vomited. Good shit Austin.
-
So you have to read? And this is a problem because...
-
It sucks, I know, since every thread also has "North Carolina" in it. Next time I'll use something that offends you and only you instead.

It's NEWER. Than the last one. For real.

Nobody will never get a fighting game as right as they got GGAC. Real Talk.
-
Yeah, air GH has head and body hit property, while grounded is just head hit. My airthrow suggestion was mostly for Ragnas that like to open rounds with it; one or two airthrows and they'll stop lol.
-
I still suck, so keep that in mind, but I've been raped enough by TB's Ragna to find out a few things. -if he opens with Gauntlet Hades, then IB and punish...OR, you can be gdlk and airthrow the move before the first hit, getting you a curse. It's risky to go for this, because you can't really visually confirm that it's happening in time to react with it, but the reward is worth it imo. -Don't jump at him. His 6A beats all of your air shit. -punish whiffed uppercuts with airthrow>curse. -You have to IB a lot in this fight. If you IB his 5B, then the only true blockstring normal he has after that is 2B, which has no range. Everything else you can backdash or super. -Use 6D bug first after 5A>6B>j.D combos. Resist the urge to do a cloud first; the presence of the bug makes you have to guess way less when he inevitably flings himself at you.

Who called it? This guy.

Because clearly, every matchup in GGAC is as cut and dry as the ones you listed. By all means, let us make our "Nothing but obviously bad matchups" matchup chart.

And nearly all of them disagree with each other. Which ones do we listen to? A more important question is, why does it matter if we have a matchup chart? That data doesn't matter to good players (who don't care how bad a match is, they're gonna try to win it), and bad players only use it as an excuse as to why they lost.
