When I saw the first trailer I was sooooo hoping to be able to pick up with 2B - 2CC - ground ender afterwards, but that is unfortunately not the case unless we can somehow get Tsubaki to land before the opponent does, but I guess there's landing recovery on it so meh. I guess being in a good position for further pressure is good enough though.

  5. I just saw Tsubaki command grab some random Tao player but I didn't catch the amount of charge it gave nor the damage it did when it fully finished, I FAILED YOU ALL.
  6. So hyppppppeeeeeeeeee, just 8-9 more hours until the first videos should pop up. Talking about hype, DmC demo is available on Xbox live now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx6Q00TsHPg It's okay I guess...there's some annoying stuff in it though, mostly technical stuff and some combat rating stuff I really wish they would fix. Game is pretty easy by the way, even on Son of Sparda enemies don't deal all that much damage, and that's saying something since in the demo you don't have any health upgrades while in the full game by the time you unlock SoS mode you'll have about twice as much health and have access to all weapons and most moves. Hopefully DMD lives up to it's name. So who's still going to get this game now? I know I am since I'm still interested in what it might offer me in the full game :V
  7. Whenever I try Mugen on wakeup I get beat out 90% of the time, that thing really needs invis frames. Blood Kain has invis so why not Mugen? Oh right, it's Ragna, he always gets the better tools.
  8. GG's to XpeRt1ze, you've gotten a lot better since I last played you, your Makoto is shaping up to be really decent. Don't really have all that much to say this time around. Tsubaki can be a bit rough to handle but a lot of her stuff is gimmicky at best, overhead can be mashed out of (even thrown), charge cancelling isn't entirely safe etc. Learn to keep blocking high when I jump in with j.C -> delayed j.CC. Even if I don't do the j.CC I'll most likely use 5A or 2A after I land which aren't lows anyways and even if I did go for 2B you could react to it in time to block it, it also leads into less damage if it hits than j.CC. 22D unblockable is something you just need to recognize and jump out or dash 5B for a counter hit (though I can release it early to bait you). The j.236C I put out here and there is even on block (or slightly +, I am not really sure lol) if I do it low enough to the ground and 6B is +1 and hits low, as does it's followup. if I do the followup 6BB the only thing I can cancel into are my specials and in many cases this is 22C, which is a frame trap and takes a primer. Nothing too scary about it. My 214D goes through all head/body attribute attacks and even bursts as you saw, - on block and your 3C beats it out. 236D can also be beaten by 3C, so throwing it out at long range when I have 1 stock to bait me isn't all that bad of an idea and you're pretty safe while doing it. Well, not much else to say, keep it up

Our air moves are charge cancel-able giving us some neat tricks like Platinum with her Swallow Moon and staffless Litchi with 623D(air version) j.C -> charge cancel -> another j.C for overhead or j.C -> charge cancel -> land -> 2B for empty jump in low, or go for the throw/command grab. And the charge cancel is fast enough to be able to barrier and bait DP's as well if they didn't change anything about j.D in CP. And our D moves seem to be + on block or at least even again, at least I hope 236D and 22D are + at the very least.
  10. Just to note, we still don't know how much charge it gives. While the video shows about 3/4 of 1 bar, he did rapid it and who knows how much longer it goes on for, especially considering the damage at that point he did the rapid was only 480. Hoping for 2 at least ;_;

  20. Don't even know what the Tsubaki player was trying to do in the first place, mashing so hard he even did a throw after the command grab. Then again, I guess he was just checking if you could rapid it (even though we already knew that and now we STILL don't know what the whole moves looks like ;_; )
  21. Maybe it's because he did a rapid before the move fully finished? I really doubt 1/2 bar and 480 damage is what it does. Wouldn't surprise me if there was another part after the slashy slashy bit where her shield/book did some kind of attack that shot them up in the air and/or caused hard knockdown (with a decent bit of damage and charge gain to boot). Still, now I can't wait for the 22nd any longer hnnnnnnggggg
