  3. It was mentioned in the proration frame data spark posted; Zantetsu(1), Tsubaki and Shippu ignore character combo rate. What I meant was that it's more worthwhile to spend stars on these moves in combos (even if late into the combo) to get extra damage.

  6. OK watching vid of Haku and I see him tack on a tsubaki at the end of the combo and it does whopping damage, does it have minimum damage now?

  8. Well, with the increased meter gain, it's more probable that you are going to have a rack of meter stocked. You know, this is getting annoying. Let's just agree to disagree.
  9. That is partially correct. Good opponents mash when they think it's safe to mash. Your job is to make them think it's not.
  10. But you don't always get 6B CH. CH 6B mostly happens when the opponent mashes. Which good opponents won't do. I mean, it's good if you get a CH 6B, but it won't happen all the time. Maybe even rarely. Whereas Tsubaki>Hotaru is guaranteed to combo, and is a more "offensive" overhead, since you can do it off a hop when applying pressure and those really throw the opponent off. And I bet it would do more damage than 6B CH. Now, if only JP Hakus show us them optimized mag-efficient combos... About 6D: I'm sure there are gonna be instances when it's possible to use.
  11. Soooo... I'm really liking Crush Triggers (CT), they have uses both in and out of combos. I don't really see a lot of players going for guard crush though, some of them do, but a lot don't. I hope I see more players going for it, and also using the charged CT to deplete the opponent's barrier and cause danger state. GJ ASW.
  12. Tsubaki is comboable anywhere with Hotaru, and only Hotaru. My only major concern is the Hotaru and 6D nerf. Haku doesn't have the threat of hop hotaru to keep his opponents on their feet. And he can't react to highs and counter them anymore. You'd need to yomi that shit. EDIT: This made me realize... Haku's become a more defense oriented character. At least whenever he doesn't have stars.
  13. How is his corner damage? Does he get more damage in the corner than midscreen while spending the same amount of stars?
  14. For some reason I see BloodScythe having Riot Stamp's potential, i.e. it's an evade and counter move that punishes the opponent heavily. But like riot stamp, it needs to be done as yomi during footsies.

  18. I wanna know if it's possible to continue a combo after a standing hit CS(1) (eg. 5B>5C> CS(1)>5B etc). Since the first hit now staggers, is it possible to hold D and then continue the combo afterwards?

  20. Amane doesn't seem to have mixups. It's all zoning damage if you're trying to keep the opponent out + chip damage once the opponent is blocking you. He's very unique.
  21. Saw something amazing: 6C doesn't need to be max charge to fatal counter. Max charge 6C forces it (even mid-combo!), but it's possible to get a normal fatal counter with no-charge 6C.

  23. I think even min-charge/no charge 4c can be feinted. In addition to charge 4c being feinted.

  25. Ok seems like grounded BS can chain into a 5D2, at the right distance. j.D is really bad. P1 and P2 worse than jA. Like to the point where if I wanted a good damaging combo, I would need to not use it.
