  4. The trend seems to be that life stealing normals have shitty P2s, except for 2D (but that can't be followed up without RC anyway). So in a way it's like we have to choose between health gain or damage. It's the same thing with DbD, DbD steals more health than CS does, but deals less damage.

  6. GH (without followup) has better p2 than both hf and tk bs. Though i am assuming you guys you are talking about single hit with GH rather than GH>followup.
  7. OK, I need help on how to set up buttons on my arcade stick to play HOS effectively. Currently, I'm trying to play using the default arcade layout, which is: K-S-H P-X-D I keep my thumb on P, index finger rested on K, middle finger for S and ring finger for H and D. Ofc with HOS charge cancelling and 2D is really important so D is important, but it's very difficult to use my ring finger for H and D, causing me to accidentally press the 2H instead of 2D alot and sometimes doing 214H (which is just plain 5H) instead of charge. Is there a special button layout that HOS players use?

  11. cuz they want to autopilot and don't give a fuck, that's why. Edit: Dunno if this has been said before, but 22C doesn't have fixed damage it seems. It does differing amounts of damage depending on proration. I've seen it do as low as 200~ish damage, and according to the first post of this thread, as high as 952 damage.

  13. I wouldn't say everyone in Japan, just most players we see in the vids. Like, we need to see players like Sakamoto Ryouma play.
  14. Well, 6B is an overhead, and hence a bit slow. You know when you are gonna do 6B, so whenever you go for it, you have time to mentally ready yourself to 6A if it hits. It's not like you're doing 5B>6A, which is fast and doesn't really give you time. @Kayeff: Enjoy your shitty damage.

  17. I think I've found a good route for 6B. In that same Hachiouji stream, Ragna does jB>5A>5B>6A>HF>5B and it works. So logically 6B>6A>HF>5B can work as well.

  19. I think it's still too early to be writing off Ragna's OD as bad. It's been 2+ weeks since the game released. From the vids we're watching, the Ragna players are still going for sub-optimal combos - actually, all players are.

  21. ^ How so? It's Blood Kain without the health loss. And Blood Kain is actually a strong powerup, both his damage and lifegain increases, and his D moves get improved hitboxes (and his supers also become better). Compared to others' ODs, how is it weaker?
  22. So... GH is unsafe (and doesn't do much damage anyway), and our other viable overhead requires heat to do damage? No. There must be another way.
  23. For some reason I feel like they're not doing the optimal thing. I have a feeling 6B > 6A > HF > 5A/5B/2A >etc would work. Not giving up hope for 6B yet. DAMMIT I WANT THE GAME SO BAD.
  24. ^Don't you mean 3C is like 2S? But still Haku and Ky still have huge differences between them. Haku does damage compared to Ky, for example, and Ky has a strong zoning projectile(stunedge), while Haku has no such thing.
