Thanks, I'll try this out. When you say "PSN support", do you mean the Support on Sony's website? -
[CSE] PSN Match Finder/GG Thread

I cannot remember the reason why I did it, but I know it was because I wasn't 18 back then. I think it had something to do with the PSN store or something. No, a random D.O.B. I've been trying to remember what my password could be since yesterday. I don't input the password manually everytime I turn my PS3 on, it does it automatically. It's been a long time since I inputted the password myself. -

Nah I want my current account, has my FL and trophies and stuff. As for the password reset thing, when I first made my account I wasn't 18 so I faked the D.O.B. ... and now I don't remember it. I'm really screwed. -

NOOOO I FORGOT MY MAIN PSN ACCOUNT PASSWORD. I can't netplay anymore! ;_; What do?! -
I agree with you, Ragna as he currently is does not need any more buffs.
-
Well... I didn't mean that it would have head and body invul through the whole startup (i.e. from frame 1 till the first active frame), maybe like from frame 8 till the first active frame, so that it can beat other footsie tools MOST of the time, IF both Rags and the opponent attempt to footsie at around the same time... but it can be beat if the opponent attacks sooner, and if he jumps forward and attacks, cuz 2D has some recovery. (lol I got the idea from O-Sol's Fafnir. 2D and Fafnir look so similar)
-
Man, I've been watching a few GG matches starring Inoue (O-Sol player) and it got me wondering... As it is, 2D is a spacing tool that hardly sees use in footsies because it's slow. What would happen if they made 2D have head and body invul. during start-up, but kept everything else about it the same?

Andriasang article confirming what Dream Maker just said. Also, damn, that GG-themed arcade stick looks hot.

[CSE-CP] Jin General Thread "Jin it to win it... again"

From the LK gameplay thread: I got an idea when I read this and decided to test something with cross up IAD j.D on block: if it's blocked, can you just I've car away to safety? Is that something viable to do? I tried it against Ragna ( the guy with the best normals) and it is punishable with CH 5C only if the jD was blocked really close and on IB. CS can punish it any time. Would it be something good to use to make jD safer? -

Lol I'm so broke I tried to get SG through a PSN code giveaway Keits from SRK was doing on Twitter... but I didn't get it ;_; GGs to rampage_chuck_1, crimsonSOULSS, and Vebansen, fun set. -
I don't think j2C untechable time changed. Proof of that is that 5C > kishuu > enma > fj2C > 5C > 2C is the exact same as it was before, like, it requires the exact same timing as before.

Valkyria Chronicles talk: Why aren't I in on this? I remember hearing talk that Sega 'might' do a VC3 PSP remaster for PS3, but that was a long time ago. SO any news about that? EDIT: Actually looked around the net and saw absolutely no plans to localize VC3... the premise looks better than VC2 (I mean playing as a bunch of army convicts is way better than highschool kids in my book). -
you can change the option in GGAC to read analog, which would make it work. I mean I played GG with the stuck before I modded it and it worked
-
It was universal in CS2, I remember confirming that, and seeing that Tsubaki hasn't changed at all, I'd say it should still be universal.
-
Hey, this is exactly the same stick I bought, and that was the guide i used to mod it! That guide is really good, takes you through every step of the way.

Thanks man.

Hey huey, can you post the time along with timezone for jiyuna's stream? Writing just "Evening" is very vague, is it my evening, his evening, or america's evening?

Lord Knight's GAMEPLAY RELATED QUESTIONS ONLY thread (EX edition)

OK, I just did a test on training mode and it turns out I was wrong, cooldown is present both on hit and miss, but ti feels longer on hit because of the hitstop of the hit, whereas the whiffed special seemed to only stop during the move itself, but because of no hitstop, it felt almost immediate. Guymam: I just did, his moves are slower compared to the rest. his 5B has 10 frames startup, and his 5C has 14 frames startup. Compare that to most of the rest of the cast's 5Bs and 5Cs. He's comparatively slower. -

Hakumen does take fundamentals, or should I say one type of fundamental, because his normals are slower, or have longer recovery, than most of the cast's similar normals and you need to play footsies to effectively get hits, because his movement is actually not that great. The "gaining meter for doing nothing" argument is an incomplete argument, because when you see the whole picture, Haku's meter gain system actually goes against the notion of Hakumen being braindead. He starts out with 1 magatama and gets meter passively, i.e., for doing nothing. However, all of his specials require meter, which are what really give Haku his damage, mixup and tools, so at the start of the match (and whenever he doesn't have meter), he cannot take the offensive initiative, and doesn't have his tools, which gives the opponent the neutral advantage for that time to apply his own mixups, pressure etc. etc. He cannot use them indefinitely, due to magatama being a limited resource, so a Haku needs to carefully plan how and when to use his tools. This actually requires smart play. And yes, a hotaru on opponent's wakeup is kinda dumb, because (assuming that the opponent knows how to play) blocking on wakeup is a smart thing to do in this game, and you'd be wasting meter. Currently though, I agree that there is a problem with how much meter he's getting, or rather that he has no heat gain reduction penalty off of whiffed specials. But that's it. -

Looks like someone finally got his Bachelor's degree in Inorganic Chemistry. So LK, do you know a way to properly train to tech green grabs? I tried using the new feature in EX training mode where you can record multiple recordings and then randomise when the dummy uses them, but I feel it didn't do me any good. Do I need a player two to help me with this? -

Haku has a few good normals, a good counter, good damage off of a lot of hits and corner carry. But he's limited by the fact that he's heavily resource (magatama) dependant, for both mixup and damage, and his movement is second worst in the game. In EX though, his meter gain got buffed, in that whiffed specials don't incur heat gain reduction, special moves that do land have shorter heat gain reduction than in previous games. IMO Haku would be perfect if they made his whiffed specials also cause heat gain reduction like before. -

Chip damage in BB is pretty weak, they need to increase it.
