  1. Just omit d.2D and you should be able to follow up with 6C since it's a fatal. And if Noel is in the corner you can use d.6C > AT > stuff
  2. One set-up I use for j.4D is blockstring > 5B > IAD > cross-up j.B > j.4D. It's pretty nice but getting the spacing on j.4D to cross-up after the j.B can be tricky. It's best to use and only really works around max 5B distance. Another good use is if you catch a standing opponent with 2C > 5C > IAD > j.B as an alternative to jump cancelling or dashing in.
  3. I'll always be down for BB...(considering it's the only game I'm good at )
  4. Your double Daifunka against Scrub blew up the entire pool It's unfortunate that we can't see the entire bracket.
  5. Completely irrelevant but the romaji 'Haida' refers to a flash-hider and the translated name of the move, 'Silencer', refers to a sound suppresor even though they serve very different purposes on fire-arms. The more useless info you know
  6. That sounds like a great idea, but wouldn't it have to be on the weekend after P4 comes out in the States since it's region locked unless someone has a JP PS3?
  7. Woot! Season 3! I will do my best to attend more often compared to last season. Also, I think starting on 8/11 is a better idea because we can start fresh with both games.
  8. Will the brackets be posted up soon?
  9. I had a great time at Evo this year. Getting to meet and play new people was awesome. Shout-outs to: - Brkrdv for being a great guy and housing and driving myself and stayfree - Stayfree for playing free in singles and throwing away his matches and getting me sick from Day 1 - Meeting my netplay bros from Vegas - Getting blown-up by gdlk $40 buffets (' 3') - Hanging out, watching Evo finals, and playing with the PNW crew, you guys are awesome people. Especially Tae for showing us that PNW hospitality - Getting to play casuals with everybody else outside the SoCal scene - Playing casuals against Chou and taking at least 1 match from him, and then getting exposed by pretending to know Japanese and fail lol - Xie for hosting the entire tournament - And lastly, for getting to meet all the cool and awesome BB players that came down to Vegas
  10. Loser's Bracket: Brkrdave, FKU Delta, Apologyman, and TheBiter Winner's Bracket: DacidBro, Xie, Spark, and Huey253
  11. And so day 0 begins, see you guys tomorrow.
  12. Something I do a lot now is BT then IAD safe jump j.C to bait reversals into various things (2B, 6B, 5A stagger). If I don't think they'll reversal then I do IAD j.C > d.6B or confirm the j.C into 6A etc. Another set-up I love to use is IAD > 2B, that Jin tech is too strong :3 Another nice thing about using IAD after BT, if they delay their neutral tech and you dash 2A after the IAD you can get a cross-under and if they neutral tech quickly you'll still end up with a meaty 5A or something.
  13. Correct, the $70 fee is only for the main games (UMvC3, SSF4, etc.) BB singles will only cost $10.
  14. Wooo, more Dennys
  15. Redblack will be picking up Scrub so you can probably carpool with them.
  16. I'm almost sure I'm going (but not 100% certain) and would like to help out with the stream stuff, etc. I'll have a definite answer by next week.
  17. Ok, but now I'm apparently doing bad math I get a 13f gap between a standing blocked 2D > d.5A so I should be able to punish with 5B but when I test it out there is a max 7f gap. Any idea where the mistake is?
  18. Could someone tell me how Noel's 2D cancelled into Chain Revolver follow-ups work? The wiki says 10~18f can cancel into follow-ups but she would still be in start up. Is it 10~18f after landing since she's airborne until 30f? I'm curious as to how big of a frame gap there is between 2D and d.5A
  19. GGs to everyone yesterday. I'm glad I was able to make it, was loads of fun. And ehrik you did well, it was fun being your teammate. A great final event for the season, more hype awaits with P4 and AX around the corner. And shout-outs to Stay Free's Scavenger Bang and his 2A food pick ups, easily the best part of the night.
  20. Ranbats still going on tomorrow? I can actually make it this time
  21. Just for clarification when you say the max number of repetitions is 5 off 3C are you counting the first 22B~C as a rep? It seems that the opponent immediately techs out after the fourth rep (not counting the 22B~C as a rep). I am wondering if I am executing it wrong or the max rep does count 22B~C. This is also by far the easiest of all Haidas, with the benefits of extra meter gain and corner carry it's definitely worth learning.
  22. Ok, I wanted to make sure I was doing it right. Then is the most consistent rep for 3C 4?
  23. :3 loving it right now. BTW is the 22B supposed to hit 2 times or does the first hit whiff? I am testing it out right now and can only get 3 reps max off 3C and 6B. And against bigger characters like Tager, wouldn't omitting 6A in [6A > 6C > 22B] allow you to do at least one more rep?
  24. Yup, exactly how I felt when CSX came out. Going to try these out today.
  25. Wow, good info. I feel bad now since I was too lazy to figure out how to Haida in CSX considering I always used Haida in the previous games. Thanks for the write up.
