GG netplay is shit ass and Arcsys should give me my fucking money back for releasing this garbage. Played a FT10 with Volpe and then the connection just gave us a good middle finger. Oh well, fuck that game anyways. If no character wants to embrace my love, I say fuck the roster. Played through almost everyone in the game now and I still can't find anyone i'm remotely interested in. I thought I had Venom on lock, but after a lot of studying of his gameplay, he doesn't fit me at all. The same goes for Millia. I hate stupid mix-ups and 50/50 bull shit all the time to open people up. It's so brain-dead and auto-pilot it's not even possible to have fun doing.

@Volpe: You just got to learn to deal with it man. You're in a crappy part of Tennessee for this kind of thing and there isn't much you can do about it. Also, I offer my and SpaceBace's services to get competitive-level matches online but you're never around when we're playing. So yeah, only so much can be done on our part. I don't think having a competitive drive is ever a bad thing. I can only think of a few instances where it becomes a problem when you deliberately try to harm or hinder someone due to the built up salt or whatever (I don't really thinks this happens though. At least, i've never heard of it). Salt in itself is not a bad thing either. Actually, I think there's a clear different between salt and not having fun. I believe it's necesary for players to go through that experience of getting frustrated to truly start enjoying the game they're playing (at least, if they want to be competitive anyways).In short, if you ask me, I don't think there is a limit to how serious one can take a game. Since playing that game seriously shows just how much you actually do love playing it. I don't know how anyone feels about that but that's pretty much my take on it. Also, how are you alienating yourself from MTN? If they play fighting games competitively and you play fighting games competitively...then? Problem? I do feel where you're coming because sometimes, only sometimes, it does feel like i'm taking things far more serious than MTN players do. However, that just kind of upsets me a bit. One more thing and i'm done here. When it comes to having that whole high off of recognition or whatever, I think a lot of people have that problem. Instead of going to tournaments for an outlet for your urge to play cometitively, they go to show off their stuff and create their own set of rules on how a game is supposed to be played and whatnot. I'm not exactly sure what i'm trying to say here 100%. I had this well thought out in my head before typing it out but it seems to have turned into a mess. Lol

MTN is this weekend isn't it? Going to enter Persona with either Narukami or Yukiko for the lawlz. People sleep on that slut way too often (no pun intended). She's better than everyone gives her credit for. Fought a very strong Yukiko earlier and she taught me how a real whore runs the streets. That pressure. Mitsuru, you need to step that game up girl.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. For the longest time i've always been thinking that maybe there was something wrong with me for a large portion of my life for not being able to even feel passionately for one specific career like most of the people I went to high school with. Oh well, guess something will open up for me one day. I'll keep researching until then. @CP: Man, the more I look at the game, the more fraudulent it gets. Not to mention the soundtrack is ass too. Don't think I can enjoy this as BB anymore.

I've been cycling through multiple career possiblities and nothing inspires me to say "this is what I want to do for the rest of my time on this earth!" I feel this wouldn't be as problematic if I weren't aiming my sights at college. I feel for the most part outside of getting pre-requisites out of the way, there'd be little to no point to me going right now. However, as we all know, life isn't so easily accomodating. I don't want to go in head-first with no goals, but I most certainly don't want to come to a complete halt on any possible progress that could be made (as if i'm not at a stand-still right now but meh...)This has been plaguing my thoughts for a very long time now. If you're interested in playing Extend then yes. However, CP appears to be offering a completely new experience when it comes out so you'd only be playing Extend to learn the very minimum of sytem mechanics and what-not. Plus, getting a feel for a character you want to play is going to make the transition to CP that much smoother (unless you're playing someone completely new like Amane, Bullet, Azrael, Izayoi, etc...), then i'd recommend you wait. I see Tsubaki and Haku-men on your sig. so i'm assuming you'd want to still play them in CP. If that's the case, pick the game up. Our scene still has people who'll play it like Me, Naimat, Jackie, etc. We can throw legit casual or side-tournies or whatever people want to do.

Man, had a friggin terrible day at work today...and this just made it worse Edit: I won't be entering Gear this time around, haven't touched the game since last tournament (this seems to be a regular pattern for me now with this game). Been doing a bit of P4U training (A.K.A. sleeping) and playing a lot of CPU Melty Blood (A.K.A. legit training). Want to get through with the tourney as soon as possible and lock myself in a Melty Blood casual gauntlet with everyone who'll play it. Also Milln, don't forge about our FT10 bro, I have to harass someone about it now that it looks like Tad dodges me again

As long as people are having fun while doing so, that's all that matters. Love this game.

Thanks everyone, so far, this has been the worst birthday ever. Had to confront my psychologically unstable brother in what felt like the most retarded intellectual showdown ever, ending in an arrest by the cops. I had to go deep undercover as a civilian and play the role of the "Normal Younger Brother" to gain his trust and flip the tables in my favor and get him to agree and abide by the cops' will. I'm not joking about any of this either. I'll tell you all the full story next time so look forward to Star's Story Hour next time we meet up. My god I need to play something.
