Post#2236 off the top of my head: watch match videos from oboro, by FAR the best victor there is. his non electrified normals have less recovery than electrified so end your strings with those if your opponent is blocking. abuse the knee DP, every version is good but specially LK and ES. c.lk, -c.lp, c.lk, c.mp(electric), c.mk(electric), c/s.hp(electric) for BnB, will reset your opponent and give you time to setup alot of things. dashing lp / lk / mp are very good, dashing mk/hp work sometimes too. c.hp and c.hp(electric) are godly anti air. It's easy to link a chain combo of a dashing far lk, you can juggle knee DP ES with qcb+hp(+- strict timing), you can juggle qcb+PP with qcb+PP or qcb+ES. these combos will work on tall chars and some medium when standing: d.lk, s.lp, qcb+PP, qcb+HP / c.lk, -c.lp, qcb+PP, qcb+HP and other variations. you can link c.mp(electric) or c.mk(electric) to s/c.lp or s/c.lk and combo from there. there are alot of setups for 360 and 720, just 90% of those won't work on 90% of ggpo players who'll spam you on wakeup or as soon as you leave any gap in your attack, for those just kill them with chains and knees and don't bother.
  3. From XenoZip @ Srk. Post#2227 I notice the JPs only go for ES Missile off a dash-in or jump-in. Her dash neutral MP into c.LP is a 2F link, so is her c.LP to c.LP link (not self-chain). And c.LP to c.MP doesn't normally link but c.LP c.LP c.MP is a 3F link. So Basically what you're looking at is like dash neutral MP, c.LP, link c.LP xx ES Missile, or dash neutral MP, c.LP-c.LP, link c.MP xx ES Missile/Basket If you don't have time to charge, like off a random hit or a crossup, you're probably better off just chaining into sweep and going for oki without stomp. For anti-air, if you're dashing under them it doesn't really matter what you use does it, lol. A dirty as fuck thing to do is dash under them, quick stop, command throw/normal throw OS. Her jab isn't really that bad as an anti-air, the champagne kinda sucks, just use jabs. You might not think it's as great/damaging but the beauty of Bulleta LP anti-air is she has all the time in the world to dash-in or jump-in and crossunder/meaty/cmd throw off the LP reset, since it's kind of like a "knockdown" except they don't get to roll. In fact, getting reset by LP is a fuck of a lot scarier than getting knocked down IMO. Regarding pursuit, it just does recoverable damage, but at the sacrifice of positioning. If you stomp then you're placed outside sweep range and they start to roll, but if you don't stomp you can be standing literally on top of them when they start to roll which lets you 1) meaty any way you like 2) cross over their body 3) dash-in command throw if you think they'll block on wakeup. It's really just a positioning thing.
  4. So, can someone explain how Sasazuka did Pendulum -> Airdash -> Pendulum in this vid? He does it 3 times. First one is at about 0:23 in the video. Normally Air Dashing takes away the ability to do air specials at all. I can't get it to come out at all. _____________________________ Yeah, doing a kara for an air special when you normally can't allows you to special. So technically, when you do an air normal, you can do a special as well. ______________________________ So I asked Ego-Lei about the airdash into special thing and he basically told me just to kara off MP or HP. Can't do it off LP <egolei> 623P?-> K -> 66 -> 62MP -> 3 -> P For Pendulum -> AirDash -> Pendulum <egolei> 99 -> 21 -> MP -> 4 ->P For AirDash -> Gong
  5. Just noticed when Bish does air to air j.mp as an anti. He will use an 8-jump to setup the UB.
  6. Credit to Risunomeijin on SRK post# 1317 Cancel it in the sway direction to get the forward and reverse momentum. Save the AD for your decent to move around normals and/or cross up c.FPxxs.RHxxpendulum is really gross. Can hit on either side really ambiguously. Cancel the cross up into ground chain, cancel the same side overhead to j.mp to ground chain. Hitting standing tall characters with the pendulum gives you the chance to cancel after the first couple of hits to air chain to rejump infinite.
  7. A good technique I have noticed some strong zabel's doing is pressuring with a staggered st.hp in the corner. This will tag jumpers and gurantees an UB IAD J.lk on the reset.
  8. Wow @ felineki. Those dmg calcs are intense. :3 thanks for that. Some insight on a technique I have been noticing and starting to apply these days. I find this useful w/ Morrigan, Demitri, Lilith (superjump) & there's bound to be other who can apply this. When setting up a jump-in I purposefully whiff a j.lp. The actual input I do is Jump, lp~lk, Here's what happens: Your active frames force a proximity block and negate your opponents ability to walk backwards. This mean's your jump-in is spaced where oyou want it to be. Very useful for setting up cross-ups. Lastly, The j.lk never comes out cause your just buffered it during the J.lp whiff If the J.lp hits the opponent for whatever reason, you automatically chain to j.lk (useless), you land and get a mix-up as your opponent resets to the ground. If the opponent Air blocks j.lp, you will automatically chain to j.lk. You can confirm this scenario and full chain into a grounded UB = Reset = Oki. (j.lp, j.lk, j.mp, j.mk, j.hp, j.hk, land, st.lp) Lastly, against the 5 tall characters, your initial j.lp is possible to hit them standing. This causes the j.lk to whiff and the next air normal to be spaced well for a cross up. Sorry Bishamon, Jedah, Victor. Demitri & Anakaris.

  18. I believe this is a roll back. or just an emulator thing. Doesn't happen on Cabinet. @Blade: I am in the process of compiling that info. The answer is lost in the gigantic unorganized SRK thread. Generally, dipswitches turn on or off the unique "broken" things which define characters. Bish= UB ES fireball. Zabel = UB J.lk etc. We prefer this uniqueness turned on. =)
  19. Something else I noticed with Morrigan & Lilith. When going for a throw, use HP & input your command super. If you throw them, no big deal b/c the super will not come out. If you get hp to connect, the super combos. If you get HP to his them in their jumping frames, you get a neat-o cross-up w/ the whiffed demons.

  21. Here's a list of DI combos you need to learn, when to apply them and ranked for difficulty: 1. cr.lk, ©hk, DI. STANDING ONLY This is by far the easiest DI. This is when your opponent leaves themselves vulnerable. Use the HUGE hit stun of 3-4 hits of © hk to slowly input the demon. Input: 2lk, 5hk, wait, lp, lp, towards, lk, hp 2. lp, DI. Link this from a Valkyrie-Turn for big damage. Slowly double tapping the lp gives a leniency for when Morrigan lands vs when you think she might land. Input: lp, lp, towards~lk~hp 3. cr.lk, mk, DI. Confirmable low combo into DI from anywhere on screen. If they don't get hit, you still have (+)frames. Input: 2lk, 5mk~lp~lp, toward~lk~hp 4. mk, DI. Confirmable poke into DI from anywhere on screen. If they don't get hit, you still have (+)frames. Input: 5mk~lp~lp, toward~lk~hp 5. dashing.anything, cr.lk, cr.mp, cr.mk, cr.hp, DI Corner only combo. The chain starts off fast and has to slow down as the moves have larger start-up. You still have to buffer the DI as early as possible. From what I understand, the trick is starting the demon immediatly after pressing hp. But, being sure enough to press cr.hp as early as possible such that is still registers. Input: 66, j.mk. 2lk, 2mp, 2mk, 2hp~lp~lp, towards~lk~hp I am not at all consistant with #5. If anyone has something to share, i would like to hear how someone else is consistant. Thanks
