So... What's the game lineup looking like for Friday??? We got some cats over at Dreamcancel that are gonna go to Frubble, myself included...

So for those that don't know, there is no more CO-- as in dude just cleaned the place out and dipped... Dunno all of the details yet, but I'm searching... Maybe a relocation, but it's uncertain...

CO's going down from what I'm told... I'll keep you cats informed... Oh yeah, bring the players!!! KoF is doing good, but I know a bunch of you guys are on SG and while there was some hype for it, not too many people played it last Monday, so come and show some love for that solid fighter!!! Also, Roa (assuming you're the guy I fought last time I was @ Frubble), you're Valentine is legit man... Sure, you lose out on mixup opportunities and such with only one character, but at the very least you've got a great air dash, crazy crossups, and on knockdown, you better be doing 214+P at least and stay medicating those opponents, because that obviously helps make up for a lack of a partner imo... I could go indepth, but this should suffice... If you weren't the person I fought @ Frubble, then my bad... This joint I typed still applies though...

Yeah that would be great if streaming were available... These games need that attention and hype... Sessions still going down tonight right??? If so, what time???

Is the KOF setup on 360 or ps3???

Yeah, I'll show up on Friday with my laptop at least for MB... I'm not sure who's doing KOF there, or even if KOF is gonna be held, but it would be nice... I'll have my setup ready for Monday also... Bring extra sticks if you can, because I have mine on reserve for KOF first, and I know some of you guys aren't used to using a Hori stick, although I'll have that with me as well... Honestly, if there's at least 2 sticks people are ok with using, then that's fine, so we don't have to switch out sticks constantly, and we can keep the action flowing... I'll use the 4 button setup vice the 5 button setup if that's cool with you guys... If you know people that are interested in MB, bring them, too... Same for KOF (on Monday)...

What games will you guys have and for what system(s)???

Had a meeting to goto, otherwise I would've been there... Still trying to get some sessions down with you guys, especially those not able to make it on Mondays... At the very least, I'd like to spar with you guys online or something... I can't express how good SG really is... When is y'alls next session going down??? Oh yeah, Wallice, from what I'm told the 23rd (next Monday) is a go. I'll keep you posted at least if anything changes... We're gonna try to get that SG hype going, alongside of KOFXIII, and I'll more than likely run MB on my laptop unless we get enough people interested in Vsav (which I'm hoping for, since that game is fun, too, and shares the similar magic series chains to some extent).

Yeah so word is there's no CO because of the attendance last week. Hopefully minds will get changed and we can get cats to show up more. I was amped to get some kof, sg, mb and vsav in for quite some time.

GGs to all who showed... I didn't get a chance to hop on BB since I was truobleshooting and running setups myself, but I will get at least a few matches in next time... I need a refresher course for real... Definitely enjoyed playing MB and VSav with you guys though... We probably would've had more people playing that if I had that running earlier... That might become a possibility if the interest is there... I don't expect people clawing their way to get on some MB anyway...

I'll get some matches in with you, so that will be one reason to bring it... It's been awhile, but whatever... I have a copy of GGXX if you wanna throw that in too...

I talked to the owner on Wednesday, and it's still a go... I'll keep you guys posted... Bring a setup if you can please, we can get either GG or BB going next to KOF and Melty Blood if people are interested... I'm personally interested in "flavoring" the area with good solid games and supporting the scenes that are supporting those games... sfxt ain't doing so hot in some areas, so let's strike while the iron is hot...

Hey how many of you guys would be willing to show up next Monday at CO??? We had sessions yesterday, and I'm still interested in getting/showcasing the GG/BB and MB scenes and hopefully building some sort of hype... Aside from running KoF, I did some Battle Fantasia also, and was testing both SFEX2+ and MBAACC on my laptop, and it got some people a bit interested in at least wanting to try the game out eventually... Anyway, hit me up, and let me know if you guys are down for that...

You have to do the input as soon as you start to recover from the slam move... You can buffer it also--- I've managed to do that when I practice with her...

Yeah, CO isn't just KoF and Crapcom games... I talk to the owner quite a bit, and he wants more variety there, but we need people to support it... Right now, I'm running KoF, but for those interested, I do play a bit of Battle Fantasia and other games before the sessions actually start (I'm a fighting game "philosopher/enthusiast" so my view on things is pretty different than most)... I'm also willing to teach people VF in an attempt to shatter a stigma, but that's another story... I'd personally like to see some MB action out here, 'cause it sucks playing training mode when there's no one to try stuff on, and I can't successfully connect to anyone online... If there's support, just bring the people, and a setup at least, and we can get sessions in for you guys... That would probably build some hype for both psn/xbl GGXXAC+ and P4A as well... I'm all about exposure for "great" fighting games, and breaking boundaries/stigmas... This is the place to do it imo... You cats need to come down to Comic Odyssey on Mondays and crush people in either BB, GGXX, Melty Blood, whatever... We're trying to bring in more of a variety of games, so things like this helps... Plus GGXXAC+ is coming out for psn/xbla, so you know there's gonna be some people getting back on that, so I'm sure people are gonna be there battling it out for awhile...

That was with the arcade version, because K' and Raiden were too strong, and everybody else, while strong, took a huge amount of effort to beat the other 2 characters mentioned... That point system isn't needed for the console version, as everybody is fairly balanced and not OP...

What's your general playstyle??? Most of the characters are capable of doing multiple things playstyle-wise, so if you're like command grabs for example, you have your pick between Benimaru, Elizabeth, Clark, Daimon, Vice, Athena, Takuma, and Yuri, but their playstyles are drastically different... The same goes with "fireball" characters-- alot of them have it, but they're all used very differently... If this is your first time on the stick, I'd suggest learning Clark, Billy, Ryo, Ralf, Maxima, or Robert... Their moves aren't too hard to do, and they have fairly easy combos imo... There's probably a few other characters I could suggest, but these were the first to come to mind...
