samthegreat dont whiff against mu, never stop doing chairs if you not sure if it hits, its easy 7-8k for mu, and you at best can half of it on ch watch for lazors. Throw is great option against it, even if it isnt green you must apply pressure in corner, since its unwinnable in neutral. Dont run from this bitch stop doing pumpkin instead frog in combos for oki you can go for 5B clash with dp same as against ragna. Work on knockdowns and oki air lobelias have landing recovery, so you can always be punished for whiffing it work on ib, in this matchup ib is really easy and gives you shitloads of heat use td for approaching and mixups instead setting up frog and pumpkin mu strengths are in absolutely retarded damage from 5c ch/2c ch and in corner and 50/50 mixup with 6b/6b rc 2b with retarded 22f startup and safety on block, so you must try dont give her chance spam it. Lazors are annoying, but cant really hurt you much if you not failing holding block/avoiding it.

How to learn a combo without video/notation?

learn comboparts>try different starters and remember what you can. Though its pretty much depends on character, i.e. rachel/carl have very universal comboparts, which can be done from any hitconfirm and combos mostly are same and not much depends on proration, some others chars depends very much on proration in combo like ragna and you must watch for your starter if you want optimal combos. Remember that crouch and fc adds 2 frames hitstun and ch starters have higher hitstop on opponent and untechable depending on hit level. Some combos have special timing for linking, so you must know comboparts min/max timings for linking into different stuff. Corner and distance to opponent are very important so you must learn your options depending on your position. In best case you ever know prorations blockstrings=combos is bad practice, you must learn to hitconfirm and read your opponent. 1. most of these can be unsafe to dp, especially on ib. 2. you have poor mixups in this case. 3. combos in this case are suboptimal, since you still can add some mixup in your combo without confirming hit, you cant do CH only combos, which can be very important, since some chars have huge difference, for example makoto from 5C on midscreen does normally ~2k, on CH its going to be 4-5k and gives oki in corner. learning combos without description comes with experience, its pretty easy to see timings and inputs after some practice. -

in extend you can do ~5k meterless. Still waiting for j.2C lv3 combos, i hope j.2C lv3>214A>5C>236B still works, at least in corner. Interesting if 1 wind j.2C lv3 midscreen still possible.

she can beat your 236AB with houtenjin when cancels her gun shots. ex roll seems to have throw invul. double fang works like noels 2D, beats throws and low. fuck her j.C, it's like Mitsuru j.B but isnt overhead and gives shitloads of blockstun. It can trade even if you hit from other side and hard/impossible to AA if used right. her traps does shitloads of cheap damage, dont give her chance to setup it. Dealing with them takes time and gives you problems with gun shots and 5D~D. greedy naotos can use goldburst almost at first seconds of round. last bullet in series have highest damage and blockstun, but is very punishable, most of time they will not shot it.
