  1. hey any chance/talk of CS2 at MATVIII?
  2. CS2 console gatherings for sure.. not sure where and how yet... also hoping we can have some CS2 tourneys to gain some CS2 XP.... probably starting with AN.. then hopefully MATVIII?
  3. Yup kellfires running blazblue at AN this year Sent from my GW620 using Tapatalk
  4. yup that is exactly the issue.. if you IAD too early there's not enough time to do j4a>j4a.. the second one will become 5a usually because you've landed
  5. for IAD 100% curse combos, the trick is to jump cancel forward, if it resets at 2a then it usually means you delayed the air dash too much.. not sure if superjump makes any different adding more bugs to combos will just prorate the damage more.. the bulk of the damage comes from the D bug.. also you'll want to avoid tacking on 6a's for no reason as that also prorates damage... in cs1 you should be using 5c x 2 or some variation of jC/5c/2c between sets.. the only time to use all the bugs in loops is when your looping them without being near them.. basically a bug only loop which is burst proof also from your practice vid you'll want to focus on the timing of catching them with the 6c bug.. preferably you want to catch them at head to body level so that you can walk the opponents body forward without walking under and through them.... also don't do the wheel so soon, try and perform it at the top of the jump or else you'll go right over the opponents head
  6. although it's dirt cheap a psp, and all psp's can be hacked now.. try googling JPCSP
  7. Well I think it's escapable. Need to test.
  8. hmm so what i can tell during the pit super they RC>air dash cancel jB them to reset... thereby allowing the 100% curse effect to kick in at the end of the super animation.. so in a nutshell corner 100% recurse with 100% meter
  9. that wasn't as bad as you think.. mostly tokido dropping combos and getting resets...minor tips that might help you though: General -j6a air to air : try and squeeze curse out from it more instead of doing wheel -use more clouds -if you carry them to wall with wheel, you can catch roll outs with 2b Matchup -litchi dominates with jB/jC air to air so press less buttons in the air -careful of litchi 2c (death zone), you have to know the angles -litchi has same speed jump as arakune in cs1, so you can't abuse your "blocked normal jump cancel iad air throw" setup on her too much as she can air throw you But overall your arakune is very good.
  10. I guess ill be at lg too this weekend. Sent from my GW620 using Tapatalk
  11. Only had a few sessions against Platinum so far but when she gets in she has lots of frame advantage so be careful pressing buttons. Plat's flying air dolphin thing covers alot of ground and helps her get in really easily over 2d's and under bell's clouds. It seems to be punishable if you block it but if you punish too early they tend to be airborne. I don't know platinum's item names or moves but there's an item that gives her an uppercut reversal which is definitely unpunishable so don't bother. Only has like 3-4 uses or something though. Powered up items. Those bullets cover so much space you basically can't throw clouds or jD. The big fan and hammer is crazy good air to air so don't press stuff in the air. A few times i managed to get 5c FC though hitting the tip of hammer so there's some potential there. Plat hits hard in the corner with certain items. The times i got hit started from the air dolphin thing but im sure it can start from other things. Hammer corner combo is rape (must burst).
  12. all the straight out jC cross up setups are usually resets.. they reset regardless of 3a's hitting or not but the real question you should be asking is when to go for a reset.. 3a>3a>5c does only like 6k.. if thats all you need to kill then whatever but it has a chance of dropping near the end if you have full curse bar.. if you need a reset to kill then do one loop then go for a knockdown and reset setup if you have lots of curse bar.. if not try and carry them to wall and go for a curse building ender with jD's/bell's/2d's and try for recurse.. in some situations you may want to go for guard break>re-curse
  13. there isn't really a set way to play against tsubaki... but in my experience i've only noticed two styles in this matchup.. the tsubaki players that rtsd and the ones that charge up first then look for openings to get CH 1) ones that rtsd (people with no kune xp) -basically keep running away and zoning.. 6d bell bug + 2d spit.. lots of clouds.. get curse.. mixup.. 100% life 2) ones that zone and charge (understand arakune's zoning tools) -basically you can't hit them while they charge in the air unless your mid distance away... and once they've charged up you have to be extremely careful as they can punish badly placed clouds -i typically stay mid distance and fish for mistakes.. don't just jB at them because tsubaki's anti air is godlike.. you can bait with feints and jD's all you want but i've seen this thing do some crazy things.. -you may find that you can't find a mistake to punish for 100% curse or they basically eat a cloud on purpose and runaway during the whole curse and you failed to catch them because they had lots of charged bar to counter assault and run around... i basically go for timeout.. seriously i have some vids of this matchup but they're pretty old.. almost from cs1 arcade release time.. and i haven't faced a tsubaki player in a long long time in cs1
  14. im soo bored of mvc3, it's such a shitty game
  15. perhaps the console release of ssf4ae might bring back some hype to arcades
  16. im still around, just been busy with work~ k2, unsanct: i'm kinda interested in going to montreal too but that time of the month might be bad for alot of people because of finals
  17. you don't have to be on xbox live to patch.. you just need a way to copy them to your xbox after you download them
  18. they have a website for reserverations http://www.tosfhq.com/
  19. really? because i was looking at a ps3 TE + imp + xbox pad
  20. yeah i kinda want to do what ive seen people do and wire it such that the RS switch will be 360 and LS/DP will be ps3, but i can't find any info on how thats wired. Also how come they don't wire start/select on the imp?
  21. does anyone have xp with toodles imp board? i'm thinking of dual modding my ps3 vlx with an xbox fight pad
  22. we randomly entered an ah3 tourney at heroes world.. most people didn't know how to play.. ended up top four k2, pui, leo, and I
  23. Hmm matchup wise you held up pretty well. The only clear weakness was your curse game mixup. Majority of the time axis just blocked everything and the times you hit you didn't manage to confirm into anything rewarding. Other then that it was mostly execution, not confirming some FC's or going into wheel too early before reaching the top of your jump causing you to fly over/under, stuff that might be just being nervous. Overall axis was much more patient though. Waiting for you to make a mistake usually. For Kune vs tager don't be afraid to turtle, time him out, be more lame (especially if you have homing cloud). Yeah you can rtsd but the risk is high if you make a mistake.
  24. sent is awesome.. everyone should have sent on their team imo.. there's no excuse since he can fit every role
