we can just follow the official ggac ranbat rules.. those have been running for years now.. http://www.gamechariot.com/g3ru-ru.html -ruleset for 2's, 4's and 14(!!!)s.. but yeah in general you dont' increase the number, it just become team ranbats.. etc etc top 4 goes into a mini bracket ftw @russell: yeah im talking about what the opponent can do.. been practicing tech traps in training mode.. set them to back roll and using resets.. the vid i got it from was korean so i didn't quite get all the details but it had stuff for other tech/no techs and i wasn't sure how to set it up to practice
-
yeah we could set it to event mode no problem... also i need some help with tekken.. been practicing combos into oki situations but i realize i don't fully understand all the tech options..
-
im interested in ranbats~ @russel: i dunno why but AE feels very different to me... there's like less hitstun on things, games faster(?), the changes to fireballs makes such a huge difference
-
im craving to test out AH3 for some reason..

imo the best way to break guard in corner is just d bug down>jC>jC>d bug up> jC> C dive whiff.. or variation of this kind of pressure http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=l9oMJeEXz5M#t=15s mid screen's more complicated but it usually revolves around B teleport to straight jump up jC>jC>C dive whiff.. probably find a vid somewhere.. it's in the most recent combo vid with the jC hit confirm variations
-
imo that fishing game is a kinda random.. sometimes you can hit things dead on and it'll just ignore it.. sometimes it'll just randomly win... it's more like a slot machine
-
i think people just overreacted a bit to the changes to the pit super but not knowing the changes his curse game.. he's already gone down a few tiers in the most recent tier list.. see cs2 thread

i think it's not that easy to compare HON and LOL, they play quite differently.. HON is very similar to dota and it carries alot of the same issues with it.. LOL although simplifies things it plays quite differently.. i've played all 3, i own HON but i still play LOL GG's today, welcome pui back... no one comment on my 1 hour eddie please XD
-
yay pui's back~ @fiedrik: add me on LOL > "kousaka"

time to secret train a new character in GG, so sick of aba.. just doesn't fit my playstyle
-
k2: so i talked to the boss, he said hongkong cannot break the netowrk system for bbcs2 to be played on regular cab. the chances of not getting it is 90% he asked if he get us mbaacc are the ppl going to support? not just coming for few month and let the game dies. he is also thinking to get ah3 just to keep as happy himself is kinda upset that bbcs2 doesn't work. b/c bb brings new player to the arcade that becomes regular customers. unlike gundam and tekken. so...sigh

lol VS casuals tonight on GGPO~

hmm whats up with vampire savior interest all of sudden btw? the board is pretty cheap, ranges from like 60-120 usd for a used one... time to brush off my sasquatch

yeah we can if you want but you'd only be getting arakune xp which you prolly won't need in MTL.. imo everything has already been said by k2 and nazir. There are some matchups which will allow you to charge all day so it wouldn't hurt to learn some full charge tsubaki install combos. A lot of your damage come from blockstring resets and air tech resets which is okay but can be risky. People might mash out a 720, dp or hotenjin during blockstring resets, and in some matchups air tech resets won't work since hazama can hook out and arakune can edge teleport. But yeah overall you should be fine for montreal, just abuse the unblockable and practice your combos such that you end with a charge to do more unblockables~ Oh and yeah reversal uppercut less if you can and mix in counter assault, or even gold bursts

someone wanna play some oujon netplay with me? im noob though
-
you can still get 100% since you can combo dive cancel loops directly into j236236D from jC after the first rep
-

It wasn't Pui's fault for the cancellation. He was willing to go if we wanted to force a tourney at TFNS. The cancellation was mostly my fault, somewhere in between training for NEC and being alittle burned out with blazblue after we never got around to organizing for the TFNS tourney. It's not as simple as just specifying a date and location and thats that with our community. We have people from outside toronto, people who have no means of transportation, equipment need to be brought and setup. All this had to be organized but most of us put it off until last minute unlike the T tourney before where we planned for months ahead of time. Then at the last minute, quite a few people came up to me asking me if TFNS was still happening, people didn't want to go anymore and so late that night I made the call to just cancel things and possibly run it at LG. I apologize if anyone took the day off for TFNS and ended up doing nothing. We were looking at the TFNS tourney as a end of year farewell CS tourney. While most tourneys I understand people want to test their skills against one another and see how far they've progressed but the TFNS tourney for us wasn't that. We did run a tourney but it wasn't on friday. We ran it on saturday (day of the cancelled tourney) and it was very last minute hence low turnout (as expected). People played some bb casuals but most were just having fun. We decided to run GGAC singles like the old days and just have a good time. I know we should of cancelled earlier and for that I apologize. Even if we did try and run it at TFNS I'm pretty sure it'd just blow up in our faces either way. I know I could of salvaged the situation a little better but having the LG tourney saturday was better then nothing. We will make it up to people in January sometime with a bbcs2 kick off party at LG.

tsubaki and hazama are special cases thats why, on tsubaki if you start with A dive it'll tend to miss completely.. you need to use a B dive variation on the first one
