  1. you could try JC cancels to land alittle quicker.. JD there's nothing you can do to safen it up a bit except to do it low to the ground in the form of iad back jD or while falling really low j6d's.. for cloud superjump>double jump> cloud>air dash forward or back + barrier cancel so that you can adjust where you land a bit
  2. if your whiffing JC it's probably a spacing issue.. depending on character and how far you are/side your on after 2C FC the combo changes slightly on the first loop to put you at the right distance for the second.. although some characters do require a delay before JA to work (i think tao, hazama, sometimes bang)
  3. pretty much what you do.. use 6b bug>5cd bug when midscreen into one loop then probably knockdown with jD>5b bug for knockdown into reset depending on the situation.. keep in mind the corner confirm from out of air 5d into loop is different and the normal one doesn't work because 6b bug won't reach in time

  6. you could also just beam super if they do D->C chain a normal that isn't jA (recovers too fast).. there's also like jump back on the way up JA/JB.. but safest thing to do is to backdash imo also the beam super through hotenjin thing has many uses.. stuff like 5a>5a and 2a>2a they will try and reversal hotenjin between them in block strings. You can actually go into beam super with super buffer freeze here and crush a hotenjin. Not just on wakeup, and happens more commonly during curse pressure 3a>3a>6a bug strings.

  10. if they're punishing 6a>5d alot (punishable on reaction really) you'll have to mix it up with 6a>2b and 6a>jC 6a>2b should work against tager sledge, bang 2d, etc 6a>jC is more situational but can net a FC.. haku 2d, rachel 2c(chair thing?)
  11. on noel it's pretty unstable but 5c NH> (HJC) > JA * 2-3> (JC9)>JA>JC>A dive> 5D>(HJC)>JA>JC>D if your close enough 5C>beam>5d>JA>JC>JD dunno about corner but probably possible.. maybe even possible with an RC 5d edit: yeah RC 5d works.. 5c NH>(HJC)>JA>JC>A dive>(RC)>5d>(HJC)>JA>JC>JD

  13. dlc's region locked so there's no point of getting it off jp psn unless your using the jp copy of bbcs
  14. they're character specific.. it depends on what part of the hitbox you hit them.. in the corner this changes a bit and things that normally work might not or vice versa

  18. there's a delay that you have to get used to.. for most things it's easier to just hold up until you see him jump cancel out of 5d then air dash forward
  19. I'm heading back to Hong Kong for the month and I wanna play some bbcs/ggac there. I know there should be some players there since they had a sbo qualifier. Anyone know how I can get in contact with them?
  20. kyle: if your talking about how to air dash cancel so that he doesn't float up you have to air dash then cancel with barrier/j4a/j4b/j4c/air throw... if your talking about why your having trouble jump cancelling into an air dash from jump cancelable normals such as 5d it's because arakune's jump is quicker so the timing is a little different then other chars
  21. At T11, we had some entrants from Ottawa... although they were from tekken group they still play bbcs. You'll probably have to find them on SRK though. They entered as IRockTheVote, Grokslam, and PLASoldier in 3v3 teams.

  24. clipped out the setups from the new crazy combo vid that journal uploaded.. it'll make it easier to study dgowen: also watched those matches you posted and your have a good start on arakune, 1)i see you attempting the instant air dash combos and getting regular jump. If you get those down all those corner 5a>6b, 2a>5b>5d, and 6a>5d's would squeeze out much more curse. 2)during curse building combos you need to learn when you will go into curse mid combo such that you can take advantage of it. Common situation is after jA>JC>JD or after a 5D out air or ground. You can directly go into a small loop + knockdown for resets from these. 3) 5c/2c FC stuff, haku, rachel and tsubaki are all funky case so keep at those character specifics 4) Confirming random air hits or random air bugs into things. It'll take some time but any random air bugs into jA or vice versa into j6a once or twice into wheel will get you started. Just note C bug you wait for them to float up after it hits, any other hits just do as many hits as you need such that C and D bug have time to recover before you land.
