So which is better in your opinion as a Hakumen player; BBCSII counters or BBCP? Arakune maybe?

Oh right. We still don't even know if it's going to be a download patch or a new(?) game (like BBCSII) do we? Ah well, just hope there's a better netcode or something.

Hopefully this thread won't go down faster than the Titanic. Speaking of GCOD, do we really have any new information. I couldn't find anything worth while that I already know. Think Arc isn't going to give us anymore information till the actual game comes out in the arcades?

GGs to some people I fought tonight. It's been awhile since I Blazblue'd, the lobbies are empty, which is kind of sad. At least I was able to get rid of the rust and dust.

I usually ask the pair if I could go next before going on. The chance of redemption after you lose should be given at least once. I don't know, that's just me. If I do go on and the player doesn't want to play me, I'd respectfully get off and let the player who was fighting before me to continue. Really depends on the players I reckon.

Well it is going to be new (for some/many). Anything new that makes people think and try to understand is always going to get people salty.

Don't forget OD with 6k back in the previous BBCP. That burst gauge charges faster than you think. And with the new OD cancel, I feel like Hakumen's going to shine. Also, Xbox One apolo... what? You know what, here's a new pet peeve. Salty online people. Because there's no use reasoning with them when there sodium level is higher than the Dead Sea. I try to give constructed advice on how not to be Arakune bait, only to be crucified because Arakune's damage is not fair and should be changed. If we left the game to stubborn players, every character would either a) have a practical 10k combo or b) 2k is the max, play footies or c) hold hands and sing jolly old 60's music. I'll be sure to avoid you as well from now on. My time can't and won't be wasted on something like you and quite frankly, I can't fathom why you even play this game if you can't deal with irregulars like these. There are alot of other players that are worth playing. I'm going to concede and take my losses.

Unfortunatly, wise Ragnas pulverize me in the corner. And with a DP lingering around, it becomes hard core tango. Though, Arakune can't tango because he doesn't have a pair of feet. BTW, that's the kind of attitude people need if there going to overcome a character. Previous Kokonoe was a monster to deal with, but there were moments that it could be controlled. Same goes for going against Azrael. Hard, but not impossible.

Even if Hakumen has trouble with the other casts, it's up to you, as the player, to be able to adapt to the situation and counter it the best you can. There's plenty of other players that seem to demolish me on occasions, including Hakumens. And for players that are able to use Arakune, that's the reward. A high damaging combo, with a chance of recurse. Arakune's high curse damage output is balanced buy his sub-par neutral game. And I'll say it again, for him to even achive 7k is for him to start his combos with the jC or 6C (a terrible start up btw because of the slow frame rate). Necro's right, he isn't spewing out 4k non-curse combos and if he were, then it be a problem. Plus, Arakune can only dish out high damage under a condition that lasts him for a short time which he has to work for. Hakumen can just sit back and wait for his gauge to charge, applying pressure on the opponent at the same time. And if you still think Arakune is unfair, don't fight him. Just run the moment you see them. Matter fact, run if you see any character or player that you can't handle. No shame in admitting defeat. I know I have done my fair share. Let's end this debate on Arakune here. No use disucussing this any further. Continuing any further should be done maybe in the gameplay section. Hopefully, we'll have some progress there. Also, Necro. As an Arakune user, the option that worked for me best was jumping in the air with my barrier up to escape from the corner. Acutally, if you jump and run away from Arakune, it's kind of easier to live. You don't have to worry about overheads at least. Just watch out for slow cloud, air grabs, and A bugs jumping around. That or rush him and pulverize Arakune before he does anything.

Rampaging over the wee bit of lag and Arakune. He should of high tailed it out of there when lag began to persist. Plus, he was Tager so... you do the math. People tend to change when their blood begins to boil. It ain't pretty. It's just sad and pathetic. I know, I've been there.

I'd rather not get hate mail... All I want is to play peacefully. I don't mean to cause any trouble you know. But yeah we should duke it out again sometimes. Hopefully soon :D

Pretty much what stellar and TD says. Rushing him down is the answer to beat him, even Tager can do it if you know what your doing, Arakune's neutrals aren't the best thing in this game if you realized. Once you corner him, just watch out for a burst and his distortion, and you pretty much have him in a tight spot. It's sad (pathetic) to see someone rage when they have no clue what's going on and start spewing out hate/trash. Also since many people are oblivious to this fact: The Bell Bug/Party Bug(Arakune's 6D) is an overhead.

Beat a guy, they get salty, then send mail saying how preposterous everything about the character they lost to. The only thing preposterous is how you can manage to lower yourself as a player by being a sore loser. Getting salty is one thing, but sending hate afterwards is just pathetic. Simply put, it's not worth it. I know, I done my fair share early on in my career and let me just say, there's nothing redeeming about it. If I had time sending hate, I'd grind in the Training room to blow off steam, a lot more productive and causes 0 ruckus. Or ask for advice on how the character operates so that you don't fall for the same tactics, over and over again. God dammit, my freaking signature hints on how to beat me, you know, the thing below this comment. ↓ It's 100% accurate you know...

I'll be sure to avoid you, I don't feel like wasting my time with a player that knows no common decency. @blackwing: taunt me twice and bounce without a forewarning...? Come on... don't be like that. Plus, your a Hazama, I wanted to fight more Hazamas... rarer than the steak I ate last night. EDITED: Ggs to Lakititi and Raziel. Lakititi, nice kokonoe. Enjoyed those sets with Kokonoe. Raziel... there's alot more broken things than Arakune, trust me. There's a reason why he's so damn difficult to use when compared to the rest of the cast.
