I think this thread is fail mainly because you guys are talking about ACTUALLY BLOCKING a non-meaty overhead. Who the fuck would want to even block it and get caught in that mindgame? My theory behind overheads is "fuck blocking this. I'm going to get out of the pressure all together by jumping away, backdashing or OMG 5P them out of it. Hey guys, get this, instead of reacting to an overhead and simply blocking it, fucking train yourself to "block" with a move that beats their overhead.. Lets say Slayer does 5K->6K. You have enough time to easily move from low to high. But this opens up the feint mixup into throw/low/5P. You also have more than enough time to hit him out of it for a big, bitchin aircombo. Hitting Slayer out of 6K negates ANYTHING GOOD about it. No + frames. No feint. No damage. All for tapping a simple fucking 5P. tl:dr - most overheads take forever to be active. only block overheads if you have no other choice. otherwise, hit the fuck out of it.

In more shitty news, my friend Colby hung himself monday. RIP colby. I fucking love fridays.

Today I went for a walk in this huge park near my house with Yoda and noticed two puppies running around without an owner. I, being the dog lover I am, chased them down through the woods and through a creek (I'm all creeky and muddy smelling now. Think that time we trekked through the morehead mountains and Yoda fuxed with with that turtle kinda dirty) I eventually caught them and called the dogs owner. He then called his wife to come meet me at the park and pick them up. At this time, I was fucking lost in the woods and I had to find my way back to a path. It's fucking hard to walk three dogs on one leash. Needless to say, I was a fucking rugged, dog-saving wife-pleasing family dog-rescuing hardass today. +5 karma
