The trick is you have to flash a weave first. If you do duck -> weave -> backthrow it will work. Probably not the kind of solution you wanted but it is valid. It MIGHT also be possible to delay the backthrow just beyond the duck's cancel window so that it can't give you a weave, but this can't be any faster then just flashing weave and doing backthrow. Also i tested the AoA as well, and it seems to get affected by cyclone level, you can see the red shadow trail while he is doing it with 3 cyclone. As mentioned earlier, to make it work just don't input any directionals when pressing AB.

im at work for now but i'll be sure to test it when i get home. It's not impossible to think that it might work on a scripted attack like AoA, since R-Action also is affected by cyclone gauge. Also worth noting, it might be possible to mess it up and lose the cyclone gauge before it comes out while testing, leading to mixed results.

figured it was too good to be true !

whoa ! Is that really true? i had no idea his AoA was affected by cyclone gauge. That's amazing !

This is what i was trying to say earlier, everyone got their combos shortened up, it's not Bang specific in the least. Watch and see what they add in the second location test. Here is a random thought: if the seals are still special cancellable it might be possible that FRKZ will allow for an abare combo that goes into all 4 seals and then combos into his new final distortion. How MANLY will that be if it pans out? Personally, i am hype for the new game and the changes. Combos are too long for everyone in this game. -

Artorias may very well be the best character in the universe. We know this despite the fact HE'S NOT EVEN IN THE GAME IN ANY WAY. Do you realize how good the world shapeing has to be to be able to pull this off in a game with so little dialogue?! Also if i had to pick a place to come from, i'd probably be from the Great Swamp. Pyromancy literally == Tamashii. Straight up ! Edit: Also how could i ever forget. Solaire is actually Shishigami Bang-u in disguise. He's grossly incandescent. -

I was playing Dark Souls, r'member? -
in the BBCP trailer, Carl has the manliest voice. If he starts talking like that in matches the way he does in the trailer i'll have to start playing him.

Correct term is LOBSTER MODE.

the best buff they could do to FRKZ is to leave it exactly as it is. Im kind of sad to hear about the time limit that it will have to face since it will be in line with other Overdrives. -

Keep in mind seals are not needed for FRKZ anymore since it's an overdrive now. Also.... based on what Isuna said, everyones wall bounces got messed with and some replaced with wall sticks. I think this is going to be across the board and not Bang specific. Could be wrong ! We'll have to wait and see. I don't know how i feel about Overdrives yet. EDIT: In the video trailer, you see Bang get 2 seals off what seems to be 2 different 6Ds. So i don't think it's really a specific seal for EACH drive? -
I also want to add that it helps quite a bit if you make a mental effort to do the j.B as SOON AS POSSIBLE after you jump cancel 6C. This was the big tip that helped me the most ! Hope it's useful.

I REALLY had fun fighting you (no surprise!). Bibi, i see a lot of improvements on your end, it's getting really hard to keep up with you ! Dai Loli i think we touched on a lot of really good points when we had our matches ! And i admire your discipline to not let yourself get frustrated. I was so impressed at the difference in quality of gameplay comparing our first round and our last couple of matches !! It was scary !!! PLAY THE GAME ON A COMPUTER MONITOR THOUGH D: !!! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH !!!!! your setup at home must lag so hardcore. this sounds like a GREAT idea !!! let's do eet ! -

This is guy is pretty far out in left field, but i think he is also the product of poor sportsmanship amongst fighters. It's one thing i am very proud of in Montreal; we have salt, we have rivalry, but there is always good spirit and a certain level of basic respect towards one another. I am happy to get in the face of anyone who tries to publicly belittle another for not being great at a game. This guy has the wrong idea about the fighting game community, the wrong idea about players who strive to be the best, the wrong idea about tournaments, the wrong idea about the high we get when we fight. It's a damn shame this is what some people think of us. Edit: i just wanted to take the opportunity while it's more or less on topic with this to mention 2 things that are food for thought. 1. Without your opponent, there is no game to play. 2. Everyone is a product of their community. If players help their community get stronger by sharing and practicing, that community breeds better players as a whole, which makes the community stronger again and the players even stronger. People who are secretive and don't help their community at all may often bask in the glory of winning in their hometown, but they can be damn sure somewhere there are people who know exactly how to beat them. In the end you're better off teaching other people how to beat your shit so you can learn to better deal with that. You'll be far better prepared for when you fight people who already know. -

YESSSSSS NEDERUUUUUU i need to visit you and greenix in your hometowns sometime to make up for all this traveling you are doing -
i would assume the Taito blazblue cabs are near identical in timing to PS3, otherwise there'd always be an uproar at Gods' Garden. But the sega cabs you guys have at gety running blazblue are really slow. That's what it felt like when i played there.
