I think without his giant belt Johnny simply became spiritually broken. Hopefully he'll have an even bigger belt in the next version. Also yes, Slayer was great. -

Sweet footage, thanks Kurushii. Kinda bummed there was only 1 EddieZato-1 player. But the good thing is the game'll be out for everyone else within a day so I'll have plenty chances to see more of him in action. Oh man, Bedman looks great though. It's kinda cool you can use his Invite Hell like underground arm stabby attacks as a sort of zoning tool or hit confirm into his projectile. I also like how the projectile boomerangs. Daaaaaaaaaaang can't wait to see more of this guy. Also just donned on me that May totally stole Johnny's giant belt, lol. Now we know why he's not in Xrd -

I have a sad feeling Anji is low on the list of characters to bring back into Xrd, which sucks because I think he'd be awesome in it(well as awesome as a character like Anji can be)... as long as they don't base him too much on his #Reload version. I can just imagine those HELLFIRE fan supers. Sighhhh. But yeah, Sin seems like he's bound for console but if he winds up arcade unlock I'll be a bit surprised. Also, I like that little typo on the Royal Court stage, lol. -

Ramlethal "Lethal-Ram" Valentine looks great. Axl's stance looks awesome. That Ky in the last set seemed to handle it pretty well, however. I could see that stance being a great move for the first couple weeks until people learn how to properly counter it and blow Axl up, lol. -

The more I see Bedman the more I'm convinced he looks amazing. His sweep has sick range and is it just me or does his alarm clock super recover instantly (or very fast)? Kinda reminds me of I-no's Ultimate Fortissimo. Until Anji shows up I think he'll be my new dude. Can't wait for the specialists to show up! Well, I can't really call myself a Faust player but I'm pretty sure it's the widescreen factor. I thought the same when I saw I-no's HCL, lol. -

Thanks for the footage capture dudes. Game looks freakin' great. Gonna miss the old Hemi Jack hit animation for Bedman. The new bed-beast doesn't do the "raging demon" screen distortion like the old which is too bad but still pretty cool. Also looks like you get a bunch more slow mo time with RC apposed to YRC, or was that just because the Sol player might've been mashing...? -

Ahh, that's usually my go to plan but I figured I'd try to actually watch it live this time, lol. There is a surprising amount of english on this site, weird. Think they are currently showing off that Climax fighter atm. edit- I guess I won't be tuning in after all. I guess in my rush to register I missed the part where they'd interrupt the stream to get my to sign up for premium. I think... I'll just wait for the archives. -

Sin would be cool. I mean, I never played Overture but a guy using a flag for a weapon seems pretty 'Guilty Gear.' They should bring back Fanny from GG Petit though. Syringe normals. -

That's.... troubling. But he was my favourite Venom player for the longest time so I'll let it pass. I wonder if Xrd'll bring a bunch of the more 'famous' players back into the circle. I mean, new blood is always good but I haven't heard of the likes of P.C, Woshige, Ogawa, N-Otoko, KA2 or some others in a long time, at least not since the first few years of ^Core's run in arcades. I know some of them just stopped playing all together (I think P.C did...?) but it would be nice if Xrd ignited that GG excitement for 'em. Or maybe I'm just babbling, lol. -

I wonder if with this new YRC info, maybe Eddie Zato has some extra YRC potential after all? It was said at the previous loketest that he couldn't YRC drills, but with this new change does that mean he can now? edit- guess I missed the part where it was said it wasn't universal, my bad. Still, I wonder... -

Definitely think the shorter range characters will find a benefit from the new RC's. I mean (in my opinion at least) when you have a universal mechanic that slows time for a little while it opens up possibilities for everyone. Range characters like Venom, Axl or Ky'll just seem more apparent. A rush character like Chipp or Sol can alternatively use the slow period to get in like the range character would use it to get out/ keep people away. Besides combo application, I wonder if you could use the slow period as a sort of basic command throw set up? Like using Grand Viper with Sol then RC as your opponent blocks it, then Wild Throw the second they leave blockstun. -

Her air backdash looked kinda short and kinda slow, but I think I saw her air backdash straight backwards and down-backwards. I wonder if she has an 8-way airdash like Bedman? I also wonder what was with that miniature, multi-hitting black hole thing was. Maybe a command grab or something...? Not gonna lie the footage only served to confuse me more, lol. -

I think it might just be the videos, maybe the framerate or quality that makes the game look that "underwater" feel. I mean, the direct feed stuff like the Baluraji and Zato-1 arcade demo seemed to flow very well (or maybe I'm just crazy). Definitely not ^C fast, but not Jojo's ASB slow imo. I definitely think the most awkward moment was Danger Time, though. -

I'm sure they'll change it if it's supposed to be, I mean they called Axl 'Axl Row' in the first batch of screen shots when he was confirmed. Although 'Ramlethal' does sound a hell of a lot cooler. Also nice to see Danger Time in action. It sure is.... something. -
