I may or may not go to CO tonight. I have a 7PM-10PM window to turn in my twelve page final paper, and as of now (4PM) I have 6 pages written. So if I end up needing all the time I can get, I won't be able to make it. Also, lol Glod. I think we should all just sub each others characters so we can all be equally annoying to each other. EDIT: Nevermind. Facebook says CO has been canceled tonight.

Well, somebody else is gonna need to make it. Preferably someone who is going to be here for a long time.

Hey Jinx, cool seeing you here. Shtkn, Comic Odyssey is not for KoF specifically. It just has KoF there, and its usually me, Jinx, and another guy playing. Most of the place is taken up by Marvel/SF4/SFxT. Theres no BB, GG, or Melty, so we'd have to bring it with us. That said, if any of you guys want to show up at CO on Mondays with me, be my guest. So tonight was pretty fun I'd say. Roa's tournament turned out to be pretty good, though most of those guys apparently don't give a shit about coming to our meetups. Also, regarding the meetups: since a good chunk of us are not going to be around for the next two Fridays, I told the guy at Frubble that he didn't need to reserve a spot for us those days. He was pretty upfront about wanting a lot of us to show up or else he can do something better on those days, namely book concerts or whatever. You can still show up for the next two Fridays but we won't have an area reserved for us. Frubble's owner also wanted us to make a Facebook page for San Diego Blazblue to try and get more people. The vibe I got was that if we don't start getting people we run the risk of not having our spot anymore since there are better things that can be arranged for Fridays. So yeah, everyone please show up as much as possible after this. See you guys in two weeks. Have fun in Japan Shtkn!

I'll come on Friday as well. I haven't had anything on Fridays this entire quarter, so I just sleep till 3PM usually. I'll get up early to go to this. Roa, I'll need you to give me the address of your school, or the name, or whatever, so I can google maps my way there. I'll call you when I get there. Glod, I'll be getting Skullgirls as well. We'll see if I stick with it or not though.

I am. If Watermelonz and Buddy show up at my place around the same time, they'll be coming too. I can't tell how often they browse the site, so I don't know if they know I'm not going to SNCI. I think Glod said he couldn't come, and Shtkn was a maybe. So it might just be Haki and I. Though I hope it isn't.

Ok guys, I just picked up Extend for the 360, and a one year XBL gold subscription. I'm willing to try some online play with you guys to see if my connection isn't garbage. Let me know if there is a particular time you're online around. Verasan, its nice to hear from you! We don't do any online ranbats right now, we're pretty much offline only, except for Hakimaru. But we've been thinking about doing a bit of online practice recently so it is definitely possible in the future.

As usual, good shit tonight guys. We had a pretty good time at Taijima after, I think we should make that a regular spot to go to, but thats just me. We might want to go to that IHOP at least once, just so we have a backup place to go lol. I'm pretty happy that Buddy made it out, I need Hazama matchup experience and I was not disappointed. We might get more of Watermelonz's friends soon too. If everyone is ok with it, I can ask Bond and whoever he brings with him to show up again, just like that one time. I can also post about it in the FB group for the SoCal BB players and see if any of them can make it out. Keep making our scene grow guys!

Ok, so everyone is clear about what to bring or not bring or whatever: - Ichi and Shtkn can bring their copies of the game. - Glod and I will bring our ps3 setups. We'll use them if we need to. - Watermelonz can bring his xbox if he really wants to, and if he does will be using one of the many monitors available (Frubble's, mine, or Glod's) based on what happens. This isn't rocket science. Watermelonz, if you are considering getting a new stick sometime soon, I implore you to get the dual modded eightarc stick, both for convenience and because I think its the best non-modded stick you can get right now.

Watermelonz, pm me where and when you want me to get you and I'll pick you up. I'll also need to know what you want to do about coming back. Like usual we went out to eat after last session so we were out til 2. Let me know if you need to be back at a certain time. I don't see the problem with you using our sticks for the time being, but I'm fine with you bringing your xbox though I think its a bit unnecessary. Also, if you're willing to shell out about 30 bucks I can probably dual mod your stick for you so that it'll be even less of an issue. I think you had an se stick right?

Its called the internet Ichi. But yeah, they have two dedicated ps3 setups there. All we need to use them is copies of the game and to be there before anyone else calls them. The desks are also freely available. Last time we had my setup and Glod's, Shtkn couldn't use his because his monitor stand is at Sanoshi's. That should be taken care of relatively soon. So setups is not an issue. If its just us we'll have 5 total. Way more than we need right now.

So the reception on the SD Fight Scene FB group has been less "we are interested in playing Blazblue or Guilty Gear," and more "we wanna show up on Fridays and bring our own shit." I guess we'll see whats up.

Good shit tonight guys. I'm really happy that the meetup at Frubble worked out so well. Just to make sure you guys know, this is still gonna be a weekly event. So every Friday at 7, head over to Frubble now. Shtkn, I checked my car and my bags, didn't see any asus monitor base, though I don't think I was ever carrying your stuff when we moved from UCR to Sanoshi's place anyway. I also sent her a message on facebook asking her to check for it and get back to me. So I'll let you know how that turns out. Glad everyone had fun. I think we leveled up a bit tonight. EDIT: Also, I made a post in the SD Fight Scene facebook group about our event at Frubble. Might get some of the people who were interested tonight to show up next time. I also liked Shtkn's idea about maybe having a flyer or something that we can post up in the venue that might attract people. If anybody has any artistic talent and wants to make a flyer advertising it, be my guest.

Considering I went through the trouble of actually organizing something with the store, I'm assuming they're going to save some room for us. We did alright at BBR. We found our last minute third person who was someone I knew back from the AI days. We started off playing the team that got third and lost. We won our second game (or to be more accurate, Glod won our second game), but we were eliminated by Huey's team cause none of us can tech purple throws. What do you mean go to the Box Arena on Friday? They're supposed to be on Tuesdays. If they're not, this is actually gonna be a bit awkward.

I'm happy we showed up. Glod, if you could bring your setup on Friday that would be great. Between you, Shtkn, and I, we should have enough to take care of everybody. If it turns out we don't actually need that many you can just not bring yours next time.
