  1. Oh? It only bounce when you KD the opponent? i didnt notice that. We still haven´t see how is the new 3]D[, i hope that in a few days we can see Carl new stuff in action.
  2. Well, when BBCS2 come out Carl was considerated A tier, that could be because they manage to get some idea of Carl new oki. Still, Carl have a very big learning curve so is no way that our char is a full potential day 1 of the game. I was wondering now that 3]D[ bounce.... stuff like 5B,2B, 5C, 3]D[, j2,C, j.B, j.C, 5B,2B , 6B, 2]D[ crossup or reset wouldn't be possibly. That make me sad because that stuff was since CT if i recall correclty.

  5. Totally agree with you. Also we have to keep in mind, that Relius is going to have a very big learning curve. Not like Carl, but sill hard. So, the most info we can get, the better are we are going to be when Relius come out to consoles. When the game come out i will go directly to trainning mode XD
  6. Mmmm i like CS1 Carl but hell, Cs2 mixup and crossup with 3]D[ are SICK, just way SICK. In Cs1, if you hit the opponent in the air and don't have nirvana, you don't get any good opportunity to piss off the enemy after that. Even thing like j.C, fuuoco are good in cs2.
  7. I come from Guilty Gear school, so when i picked this game i wanted something very similar to Eddie. And woula! Carl come to my mind, 2 on 1 char, have unblockleables and can kill you with one or two combos. So, i set my mindset to practice, practice, practice and in the end i get the fruits. I have to admit that i enjoy using Carl, because is broken BUT broken with effort! and is just so awesome when you manage to perform the hard stuff.
  8. You know what? i just dont care. Why? because always noob people say that Carl is bad, but hell! when you manage to be good with him they start to call you cheap or that chars is overpowered. What i always i will like from Carl, that is a character for the hardworking guy. If you are good with him, no one will ever call you noob. Hell they will hate you or get way too salty but they never will be calling you noob. I have to admit, if Relius is Hight tier, more similar to Eddie and better than Carl is very probable that i change main. Still i recognize that i have a great run whit Carl in Cs2, i loved the oki and i loved having at least one 5K combo that is reliable and manage to connect it a lot. Long live to Carl! and i hope that in BBCSEX Carl manage to be still top tier!

  10. MY NEMESIS! haha hello dude! Mmm.. we have to know how good will be his buff. I suppuse that we have like 3 more loketes to go.
  11. If with the new 4]D[ we loose the ability to combo from that, for ex: 2]D[, j2C~allecancel, 5C, j.C, 4]D[, 5C pickup, etc. we will lose our max damaging combo option. That is a fact. After a 4]D[ we can´t continue our combo, we should say good bye to 5K or more dmg combos. Also, why they will make harder to combo of 2]D[? eh? seriusly?. I will say this, i like to be able to do 5K or more after a 2]D[ reset. Why? because i started to use Carl since CS1 and for that reason i learned j2.C allecan combos with Volante and 4]D[. Now in CS2, i use that knowledge and adapted it to CS2 creating a new type of CS1 mix CS2 combo, as result the damage was great and is very usable in actual match. For me, this is one of the only way to get the most dmg in a combo that is reliable. So? why i will want to lose that? and why i will exchange losing that type of combo only to get a better crossup with 4]D[? seriously what is the deal with that crossup it isnt good. Is way more better just crossup with 3]D[. The sad thing, is that now we are starting to loose our options, even some that aren´t amazing. This is bad, because one of Carl streng is that he always have an option for doing good dmg or crossup.
  12. Carl forum dead? i dont think so. This is one of the section that have the most post count in comparition to the other chars on dustloop. The reason why now is kinda dead, is because wee need more information related to the changes for Carl in Cs2 ++++++++++. Without that, no one can´t really speculate how it will be. Im just have the feeling, that we are loosing ours options in the next BB.
  13. I like to post here, but i have to admit that my native language isn't english, so i just try to post specifics stuff or ask question. If i had a HD video card recorder i would gladly try to make a Carl combo video, but hell they are expensives. O well, i just want that they don´t make useless Carl in Cs2 extended. Carl for S TIER!!!!

  16. You know? that was my mindset when i learn about the loketest for CS2 Extended. BUT, after seeing that they are modifying Nirvana attack and REMOVING thing like jump cancelable i feel paranoid. Also, NO ONE know how is this new 3]D[. I loved 3]D[ pick up from CS2 AND! we arent getting any buff realated to having more Nirvana gauge.

Are you sure that isnt that big? we loose like 4 option for mixup/crossup and our corner loop No more 6B IAD j2.C Alle~cancel, no more 6B, j2.C, jC, 3]D[ and 6B, j2.C,j.B j.C, 3]D[ mixup, and any type of crossup from 6B, j2.C, Nirvana move. Also, i will miss the corner loop, 5B,6B, j2.C Alle~cancel, 5B,6B, j2.C Alle~cancel, 5B,6B, j2.C Alle~cancel, 5B,6B, j2.C Alle~cancel, 5B,6B, j2.C Alle~cancel, etc.. I dont know men, for me is a big change. We loose too much option from removing a jump cancel that isnt overpowered or broke. Carl is a reset oriented char, so why he should loose option for doing that?

  20. Hey hey... It seem that they removed 6B jump cancel! why?? wtf with that seriusly!!. If that going to be true, no more IAD j2.C allecan or 6B,j.B, jC 3]D[ mixup. Why they just keep removing stuff to Carl and buffering Jin and Lichi!?
  21. Hey.. what is the deal with modifying 4]D[? Seriusly, if we loose the ability to comboing off that move.. we could loose a lot of dmg potential. With this new 4]D[, can we still do stuff like: j2C~Allecan, 5C, j.C, 4]D[, wallbounce and pick up with 5C, j.B, j2.C, j.B, j.B, j.C, 8]D[? If that type of combo is still possible, i dont care about the changes to 4]D[.
  22. I only complaing with this 2 thing: -Using the sister multiple times in a row costs more meter -3D groundbounces (wat) I hope that they remove that changes in the next loketest. Now, about 3D groundbounce, WTF?... i just son weird... why? Still the buff were good, so i still have hope.
  23. Dude, Carl is always Carl + Ada. But, that isnt a reason to nerf 6A, seriusly 2 on 1 chars need to have like a good normal anti air if not... people will just jump over at you. Check Eddie for example, he have very good AA that werent broken... with the exeption of the stun inflected from 6P.
