  1. Someone with good reward? Hazama I guess. Make your opponent burst in any combo you land. lol
  2. XBL? Because I rarely ever see any Hazamas on PSN. I see far too many Jins. Less Ragnas but still a lot. Lots of Tagers and everyone else a lesser percentage. I see more Carls online than I see Taos. And that's a good thing because Tao is the most annoying character in BB. If you think Hazama is annoying, then you've never fought a good/bad Tao.
  3. I counterpick Hazama with Tager all the time. Nothing wrong with that
  4. It HAS to be canceled on the first hit of 5C so it doesn't really make a difference. I'd strongly advise not learning links like that with the advanced input and learn to actually press the button at the right frame. Also, 9 is a jump forward. Non of his relaunch combos work with a jump forward. Either neutral jump or back jump. I always opt for neutral jump because of muscle memory (Of course only exception is Rachel and Tager as you NEED a back jump)
  5. I never do that as it is usually a waste of 50 meter unless I can actually land those relaunch combos from it which is actually pretty hard for me from a throw RC.
  6. Sometimes you need to do 66C instead of 6C after Zaneiga to get closer to the opponent so 5C gets a clean hit. This is one of those things that will get natural when you do the combo regularly. You'll know when to adjust your positioning. I can't tell you how tight it is but it is one of his tightest links and probably one of the hardest ones for me personally. Because the closer you do Hungry coils, the tighter the link becomes. This is one of those links you need to get the feel for in order to do it. Although a beginner method is to hold up after Hungry Coils and then 6D the moment he jumps. But that's not a very precise way of doing it. A split second after the opponent gets knocked to the ground and does a slight bounce, you have to jump and 6D. Keep practicing till you get it.
  7. A friend.
  8. I never do that even if it gets me a kill. It's just lame.
  9. Yeah. I'm sad that he isn't doing relaunch combos though. I thought he'd practice them for EVO.
  10. Dusty gonna make the Hazama forums proud.
  11. It really isn't about momentum in that sort of situation because the opponent isn't gaining momentum. They're just stopping yours. And for a character that has better neutral than most of the cast, it's crucial not to rage burst.
  12. Bursting an ID is bad. Ragna doesn't even gain much from it anymore. You shouldn't waste a burst like that.
  13. No. Don't repeat that shit.
  14. 1. It combos if 214D~B is a level 2. 2. It catches people who don't barrier and resets into another combo. 3. Hungry Coils = 623D so... 3C > Hungry Coils makes no sense. lol
  15. Play me Cookie. I can help you get some matchup exp. Just don't get hit by CH 3C...
  16. It will combo if Rising Fang was a Lv2.
  17. Thanks a lot for the post. I really appreciate it. I almost completely solved two of my problems now thanks to this. The reason I could not do the dash candel > 66C was because I didn't exactly know how to trigger the dash. I'm fairly used to 66Cs as a matter of fact because I main Hazama. I can do it successfully now with the mini dash ^_^ As for the height issue, I really didn't know how to change the height. I'm getting the hang of it now and I can do it with a great success rate. As for the Haida loop, I now know how it works and I should be getting it down in a few days of practice. Very useful post. Thanks General HexaNoid.
  18. ok I guess here is a good place to post. So day 3 Noel and I got tons of questions for you guys. My first biggest problem is with her 2D universal combo. When I do muzzle filter after the 6C in revolver, I'm supposed to pick it up with 2B > 6C > 22B > 22B~C > 6C etc. I just cannot get the 22B to hit the opponent. The only times I can get it to hit is in challenge mode. After reading and searching up some stuff on Noel in this board, I understand that her 22B/22Cs are height related. So either they're too high or I'm doing the combo wrong. But no amount of delay gets me a hit outside of challenge mode. I've tried everything but it doesn't work. My second biggest problem is the command dash that's supposed to happen after a set of 22Bs into C. I'm not quite sure how to get this. The combo shows a command dash and then a second dash by the player into a 6C. But the only way I can get the combo to work most the times is to somehow make it so that the command dash doesn't come out and I just manually dash 6C. This kinda shows what I'm talking about and it's the only Noel footage of me I've got and it's from yesterday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwalhDIPFPs You see I never did 2 dashes but just one. And it kinda got muscle memory for me to do 236A (Revolver blast? my bad... Optic Barrel) after 6C. I'm sure I should have done grab > 6C instead. And someone explain why that just happened... My third biggest problem is the Haida loop. First: I do not know how to do it. Second: Do not know when I can do it. Third: Do not know the requirements. So if anyone can explain a bit. I know there's a Haida loop section but it kinda doesn't address my problems so yeah. Oh and I guess the last problem is that I don't know the difference in her D combos and how it affects her combos as a whole. What I mean by that is that I don't know the difference between doing 6C > 5D > 6B > 5C > 5D > 236D and 6C > 5D > 6B > 5D > 5C > 236D. Or any other example of that.
  19. One advice though. Stop rage bursting and stop mashing in your opponent's blockstring. Especially Tager because it will get you 360'd/720'd a lot and Hazama lacks a good DP to counter that.
  20. Fact: Bang's backdash >>>>>> Hazama's backdash. Other than that, I dunno what you guys are talking about. lol
  21. I find the mobility options to be better than chains. A combination of both is always the best but I've experienced that Lambda's are very prone to his "in your face" approach. He's really scary for a Lambda up close and using chains can sometimes sword you so I try to use IAD and j.B her.
  22. Then you were too late and you didn't bait properly.
  23. Depends on ice car version. No one does A version to hit someone. So assuming they do B or C version, you can punish with 5A or 5B. The D version is easier to punish but good Jins only use it in combos. And no Jin uses ice cars as part of their pressure because that's fucking stupid. So it's really nothing to be concerned about.
  24. Punish it with 5B.
