  1. Hello Dustloop! So our community website has been around for a while now, but for some reason they never created a thread on dustloop and as a result some players who may have never known that Winnipeg has its own growing fighting game community! Our central community website is: http://www.chipdamage.com/ and we have a youtube channel and twitter feed. http://www.youtube.com/chipdamage1 http://twitter.com/#!/ChipDamage We usually gather on a Friday evening at the University of Manitoba Armes Science Lounge and hold tournaments every few months. Our biggest tournament, TST VI (That Summer Tournament) is coming up in a few short weeks on August 13-14th and I hope some new players can make it.
  2. a short Mugen combo video that Jourdal posted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnLanrpYLF4 I like how it shows 4 ways you could potentially combo into mugen, with 6D->Mugen and throw->6C->Mugen being the most practical though highly situational.
  3. How do you do a super jump TK hotaru? Would you have to do something awkward like 21428B?
  4. Do you guys have any tips for performing the renka>kishuu>hop 2C>tk hotaru>AD j2C combo? I'm having trouble getting the TK hotaru to be high enough so I can AD afterwards. I've tried doing a regular jump and inputting Hotaru quickly, and a delayed TK Hotaru, but I haven't had any success yet.
  5. Didn't see this posted yet. Hakumen CS2 combo vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5u6DDv_fyE
  6. j.2A having more untechable time?
  7. I think it would be cleaner to go by terms instead of numbers. I think it would be easier for beginners to read through it.
  8. Do we have to do the jump-cancelled dash in this situation? I always thought you had enough time for Hakumen to walk forward a little and then jump. Can anyone confirm?
  9. I believe 5D >6A>j.2A>ad>j.2A>j.C, I think I saw it in one of the Acho videos. 6D seems to be the most rewarding counter now since you get roughly 2.4K and close to 2 stars of meter from the follow up. I found that the only time Shippu was good in CS was after 2D, since if they bursted you could hold shippu and it would still hit them during recovery. Would have liked it to get higher minimum damage in CS2, but it seems pretty useless now even in the above situation since it will do very little damage if they didn't burst.
  10. Does Tsubaki still do the ground slide in mugen state? I remember reading somewhere in the loctest threads that it changed to CS1 Tsubaki during mugen.
  11. Here's a good video of Sodomu. Didn't know you could extend the combo off of j.A > j.B > j.2A > j.C and I liked the combo he did at 4:00, nice way of getting the opponent back into the corner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJJ-3bahj9E
  12. So haven't seen these Firumu videos posted yet, but there are two videos of his CS2 Hakumen at the moment. He's very counter happy in the first video. Second match @ 10:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4zU74kRMAY Second match @ 10:12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnoB5-K_PH0#t=4m28s
