  1. This was a match in Loser's finals at a local tournament of ours, we also lost count so that's why we play more than a best 3/5 match set. Please let me know what I should work on since he very obviously exploited my bad tendency to throw during pauses in pressure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psEkk8mibOM
  2. Hey everyone, here's some casuals I recorded with my friend. I press D alot in these matches since their not that serious but I'm finding the neutral game pretty hard right now. In air to air situations I find I always lose, not even using j.A has beaten out that much stuff, and on the ground I end up blocking for a really long time without being able to take back momentum. The fact that Kokonoe's normals are almost all jump cancellable makes it difficult to know when I can poke back. Also all of those CH j.C from Kokonoe was because I was stupid and though 5D would activate in time.... I miss 1f 6D so much right now... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j81lnIQkp2o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsUyBjYxmmc Anyways they should provide some entertainment to say the least.
  3. Pretty sure they did that on purpose otherwise you could crush trigger infinitely until your opponent ran out of barrier and got guard broken.
  4. You can do something like starter, Renka (1), kishuu 5C OD if they burst the second you touch them. The kishuu will go through the burst if they burst during the renka hit. Keep in mind that if the opponent waits to burst as enma or hotaru hits we'll get blown back regardless.
  5. You can do some interesting combos against Kokonoe if you bait the super fireball. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEtXE4AcSN8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gbbn8JxfMdU
  6. What do you mean? He did not combo into mugen, he went into Mugen and did a 2D enma after recovery.
  7. Just wanted to mention that the BB scene is really booming here in Winnipeg. There's going to be 3 disc based copies of the game and atleast 6 digital copies of the game in Winnipeg. Make sure to come to Friday gatherings at the Armes Science Lounge if you want to try out BBCP!
  8. Is anyone from the hakumen boards importing BBCP?

  10. Is there any mention of how much OD meter they had? I would assume for the whole combo they had full OD. I can imagine landing the combo off of a throw like so: throw > mugen > renka (1) > kishuu > TK tsubaki > 5C > OD cancel > guren > Shippu(w) > zantetsu (1) > kishuu > 6C > Shippu(w) > kishuu > 5C > shippu The damage won't be murdered as badly if hop tsubaki can connect immediately after mugen.
  11. Not sure. I'll ask around the scene and get back to you. I wouldn't doubt it if someone has though.
  12. Did Hakumen just jump cancel 6B at the end of the round in this video? Or did the round end cause the second hit to whiff for some reason? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIAjfWHa9pM&feature=plcp#t=7m22s
  13. Some neatly summarized info for CP Hakumen http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?14675-BBCP-System-Changes-Movelist-Translations-and-Loketest-Information-Anything-Else-INFRACTION&p=1413754&viewfull=1#post1413754
  14. You have to delay the super jump a little, you want to do it after the opponent bounces off of the wall. If you do it too early, the combo meter doesn't reset if they don't tech. Iirc you need a really specific timing for it to catch forward rolls. Its still vulnerable to late teching, but you are theoretically safe. Regardless though, this doesn't work as well in Extend due to barrier pushing you out far enough that Tsubaki will whiff. I can't remember if Renka still reached or not but yea, I find its definitely not as good in Extend.
  15. We should really make a separate thread for all of the loketest info, I'm having a tough time keeping track of info in the general discussion thread x_x
  16. Hey guys, A little birdy told me that we might be having a P4A station at this friday's gathering. If your interested in giving it a try before release come out this friday to the U of M's Armes Science Lounge! Also, I hope you can come out again Leaf, I wanna play your Relius again! =)

  20. Thanks for the critique Rele, I've passed it along to Bmeister and took note of what you said to me
  21. I find that delaying the j.B and J.2A as much as possible to be the most important parts and eyeballing the opponents height for the A.D j.A/j.B. Also Indigo had a post on tips to get that part down. Oh I found it! http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?13856-EX-Hakumen-Extend-Combo-Guide&p=1326544&viewfull=1#post1326544
  22. hey Rachel players, I was wondering if you guys could give some tips for a friend of mine, he doesn't post much on dustloop but I'll let him know about what he can improve. Our gameplay was overall kinda sloppy with Grand finals being especially sloppy due to a 2 hour wait between winner's and grand. Anyways, I'm hoping you guys have some good constructive criticism http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nITXEflCegI&feature=plcp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d10RKkex_78&feature=plcp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeX-KYaEGck&feature=plcp
  23. Yes the tournament is this Saturday, hope you can make it
  24. Oh, I always thought that 2A was his worse starter, thanks for pointing that out. I still need to test the combo on bang more but so far it has never connected for me.
