exactly, multi-link a go-go. those are hard as hell. and whats even funnier: figuring out how to do them. it's not like you can just look at the combo once and pull it off, you need to discover so many little tricks to make those combos work, it reminds me of when HNK came out and i tried to do the crazier rei stuff. just a LOT harder.

so, who can pull off the dio BnBs? just out of curiosity. imo they rank in as the hardest combos i've ever tried to learn, right beside the harder stuff in hokuto. there's a reason after all that many combovids for jojo are actually matchvids with custom music, because the stuff that people pull off in those vids is just breathtaking. same for hokuto, no more need for combovids, matchvids are all you need.

eddie with 100% tension, full life, burst vs. anji with 1 health, no tension, no burst, dizzy: S+++++++++++ ...

- against baiken, do the airdash as soon as possible, but try delaying the j.D, alpha until the combo works. you want to hit her as late as possible without the alpha whiffing after the j.D because she is TOO low. - for the 1f samitto combo against sol, do the 2nd. j.D as late as possible (just before you touch the ground). see current samitto matches vs. kaqn (HOS) to see the combo.

hit jam as high as possible with the hs, and just do the forcebreak without any timing (as fast as possible). you have to hit the tip of her foot with the HS, her hitbox is deceiving, you think you will miss her, when you can actually still hit her with the HS. that way she's a lot higher in the air. the link after the FB into close S is hard, by the way =)

CH dust is completely untechable, so no need for an impossible dust. there are lots of ways to impossible dust with chipp, the hardest i've seen was from samitto: it was: j.D, j.D, doublejump straight up, land, d.s,hs, iad. combo. the timing is unbelievably strict. typical for that madman to pull it off in real matches.

i'm just speculating, but chipp still had potential back when all the char specific alpha blade combos weren't figured out. unfortunately, his combos are very hard, just look at the stuff samitto pulls off, even he screws that up from time to time. you need to play like him to justify chipp being maybe C+. Samitto is the best, and look how he fares against worse players with better chars :/

there's that one sick combo/matchvid with all chars, which has a pet shop section. the imperial march plays during his combos. you will understand when you see it.

it's true that juda is better than ken on a baisc level, but i see way more bounce combos with ken than juda. the setups for juda seem very hard, even japanese players miss them very often.

i would put kenshiro before juda and heart before shin, otherwise i agree to tiamat's list.

CD isn't *that* important with thouther, just check out recent hige or thouther matches in general. they usually work with 2B into AC or j.214A into \/, AC, stuff like that. thouther is kind of a special case, it seems like you don't need most of his normals at all, the ones that are the most important are 2B, 2C, j.B, j.C.

i started recording a combovid for basara x and i'm holding very long sessions. If you try an extremely long and hard combo, that has the hard part in the beginning, and you still need to research the end IF you reach it - that really wears you down over time. If you begin thinking about other stuff while you practice, stop. even if it is only a 5-10 minute break, give your body and brain some rest.
