RC>Gurren Punish doesnt work on everyone depending on how tall they are. These works on everyone if you have spark bolt. From jwiki (Dora = buster/driver): 360A> GF>RC> 2C> AC> Spark> MW 4300 360C> GF>RC> 2C> AC> Spark> MW 4400 360B> GF>RC> 2C> AC> Spark> MW 5100 The main thing i don't like about CP from EX is how they removed our meterless buster combos, and they do less damage using 100% meter. Its not a big deal though compared to his tons of other buffs which make up for this one loss. I dont even mind the AC change, because its alot better than i first realized. AC just needs to be tweaked to make them land a little closer so AC>6C>Gadget whiff works easily on everyone with mag midscreen and I wish you could do no mag AC>Bsledge into combo midscreen.

They didn't completely changed the name. Gurren means Crimson and Tager is the Red Devil. During his belly flop he is like a crimson meteor falling down out of the sky to squash you. Its Tager's homage to Kokonoes Astral Finish LOL!

Midscreen Meterless No mag: 5C>6A>2C>Asledge>5C>6A>AC>anySpark>6B>6C>JC>JD>GP 5022dmg 36heat Edit: just to clarify anySpark means straight or diagonal spark will work. I think this should probably work on the entire cast. 2C>Asledge timing varies with character but does work on everyone i tried. The main thing is you just need to get the timing down for Spark>6B. if you hit them with 6B to early they will tech before 6C. if you use upSpark hit them with at the top of their arc to give yourself enough time to wait and land 6B close enough. Its very easy once you get the spark>6B timing down. maybe OD can be added in there too somewhere after 6C. I just tried and it works on Makoto. It also works on Amane but its very hard to time correctly on him. Edit: i can see how you missed it on makoto the timing is stricter than i first thought i cant do it consistintly, but im just using pad.

Doesnt double gadget finger still works against mu and nu backdash ? Also if you land jD on a standing opponent it will combo directly into Gurren Punish.

Your welcome, I'm glad to help. One thing i don't see mentioned on that page is the reset position for practice mode is just like Persona 4 Arena, just press select+left, right or down at the same time to change starting positions.

i forgot to mention this earlier but incase anyone that has the game doesn't know, there is a great new option in training mode to have the opponent always magnetized. It makes practicing mag combos so much easier.

Ok i finally have the game. im going to spend a long time in practice mode learning all those combos from those 3 tutorial videos. I sure love the hitstun bar in trainig mode its great. Also if someone has a question ill try to answer it.

Its only other main use is to do it towards the end of a combo to stack on the extra super damage from MTW>TB. The auto mag pull is so pathetically weak that it seems worthless and 720 giving magnetism is underwhelming. They dont abuse OD wallbounce combos because it will do low damage with all his drive moves having a ridiculously pathetic 72p2. So overdrive wallbounce combos so far dont seem to be worth it unless you know it will kill them. In the beginning yumurra and a couple others tried out using OD at the start of the round to get early spark but everyone stopped after a short while. It seemed like it wasnt worth it cuz the charge still to slow.

I hope to have the game next week, eventhough I hate being forced into to having to get Japanese PS3 version, I hate that you cant choose between english and japanese voice per character like newer capcom fighters and that their is no offline replays.
