It has been told to me by fellow Rachel players that has long since gave up on Netplay in general at this point. Sometimes online you'll let go of your charge and it'll keep going for a bit, that's why PF might be a bitch sometimes. You try to go visually but the game says no.

The only reason why Makoto online somewhat suck is that you keep gotta adapt to new charge timings and some of her combos require very specific charges, and her oki almost disapear but can be replaced by resets when playing a bad connections, but I only play Makoto because Iove doing her combos and removing that from me means a lot. Rachel on the other hand its just an overall, everything that you should be doing might drop, even your mid screen oki/knock down combos and lvl 3 j.2Cs etc.

Try to play Rachel online in Extend and do your optimal combos. Maybe with a solid 3 or 4 but other than that you'll just be doing stuff that may or may not work and and get blue beats everywhere.

Anyone with a LGP can just press the button. I'll personally have my Laptop + LGP but there'll probably be more streamers than players at the event anyway.

His Tager is already very gimmicky and fraudulent at the same time so I can imagine how he plays the rest of the cast. But he also tend to underestimate his opponents, met him a few times in ranked on a random account. Nothing extraordinary though.

My flight is on Thursday at 11:35 AM and was planning on using my Wednesday as a "make sure I have everything" day. And tomorrow well I'll just be really exhausted and won't feel like playing FGs at all. At least I grinded BB a bit at kaeru's Sunday.

A few things to consider about Gauntless Hades is that you can either 2B it to that it completely whiffs and punish for free but you won't get a CH, you can block the first hit and 6A the second for a CH 6A, you can DP and get nothing in return or waste 50 meter for a small damage boost, you can parry it but let's not go there. Overall the Ragna matchup isn't that dumb if you're not all about pressing buttons all the time, he has advantage over you. You abuse of his poor pressure and whiff punish, be careful thought some if not all the Ragnas will often whiff and mash a DP as you try to punish and it'll get you. You also have to condition them not to mash DP before going for pressure with larger gaps.

Anything that beats their options is considered as "mashing" nowadays, I'll press 5A or 2A or DP, but I won't mash it, there are patterns and poor block strings that just doesn't deserve to be blocked sometimes. Even though this is a netplay thread and people probably refers to netplay where people press buttons mindlessly and confirms into whatever (speaking about a majority here, not everyone) then just apply frame traps and they'll eventually understand that mashing isn't a solution for everything.
