If I'm reading that correctly, does "Remix Heart" entail some kinda of side-story? So what is this exactly? Is it canon? Judging from your description it's kinda ecchi?

I kinda watch matchup advice for Hazama and Litchi if you're willing to do those too?

GGs to LK and KoopaDoopa. I haven't spent nearly enough time with this game. SG and Tales kinda killed my hype for it, but I'll learn it eventually, at my own pace lol. Also I never realized how hard it is for me to react to TK Hirentotsu. I don't have the reflexes to tech throws either, but I'll get there.

I can't get any random stranger to get hit by anima but my friends will get hit by it if I'm in CNO. They'll literally run into it when they think they've caught me offguard. Otherwise I can sometimes get a hit in with it if my opponent in the corner in NCO. You can do it while you try to mixup for a bit and Ada's walking behind you. Once she's about to reach her max distance you can jump out and if you're lucky, you can either get a throw counter, or a pink throw where even if it doesn't hit, you have an easy out to restart some pressure. Admittedly, this has only worked twice, so it's not really a good strategy to use lol.

The only thing I'd want from a brand new GG is highres sprites and environments and widescreen. If they could go the Skullgirls route and double the res of the sprites to bump up the anti-aliasing, that would be nice. I can't get over how pixelated BB looks in comparison now.

Yes...feel our pain lol. I just tried stepping back into BB after a couple of months of just Tales of Graces and Skullgirls and I'm definitely out of practice. Feel like I have to start from the basics, it's pretty frustrating.

What's with all these Carls coming out suddenly? o.o You gettin' P4U/P4G sinder? I'm not really that hype for P4U, but I'd play P4G over again, especially with the bonuses in there. Also, P3:FES on PSN, is is that what you're playing? I never got to finish The Answer but I don't remember anything, so I'll start from the beginning. Still playing through Tales of Graces though, so whenever that's done (maybe after Persona and Xenoblade), I'll be back on BB. Summer of RPGs @__@

Hey, cool to see more Carls here. I haven't been very active because of school, but I think some of the other guys are. I'm pretty casual right now too, I haven't really been trying to learn CSE Carl since I've got a huge backlog of games (also playing through Tales of Graces atm). If you live close to where a tourney's happening/have the time/money to get there, you should try it. I've never been to one myself, but I plan to at least go to once I finish school. Also, that sonnet was pretty cool. Honestly, I didn't know what a sonnet was until you mentioned it lol. I like to read but I'm not really that familiar with the terminology of the different kinds of verse lol. How are you liking Carl in CSE?

I don't know what to do against a good Hazama, but I never trying to approach him on the ground where I always lose to his normals. I stay near Ada and try to get him hit with a Brio, 8D or 4D and confirm off of those. Basically, try to get him hit by Ada and then confirm. I'm sure someone else can give you better advice though lol.

That match was so close, Kyaku had it! Tsujikawa was godlike though, so I can respect that. I believe that Tao`s our worst matchup for sure. Everyone`s always telling me they`re going to learn Tao to counterpick Carl.

Thank you SO much for this. Honestly, I've been having a hard time adjusting to CSE Carl since I've never bothered with optimal combos, I just do what I think is fun. And now nothing I used to do works lol

So Carl challenge 9, I kinda gave up on that one specifically since the demonstration gets a reset but I always redbeat it...what am I doing wrong here? For those of you who don't wanna bother to look it up, the challenge is 5B>5C>6D>5A>2A>5A>2A>2B>5B>6B>2D It's supposed to reset at 6B so that the 2D is unblockable. It worked fine in CS2 but I can't do it in CSE...Am I the only one having this problem? EDIT: I pass the challenge, but that's not what I care about. I want that reset if it supposed to be happening.

This might have been said/asked already, but does anyone get the vibe that Orie's design is somehow influenced by the P3 protagonist? I think it's the blue hair and that her power is named Thanatos. Plus that thing she summons looks like a Persona to me. It's petty blurry though. Of course it could just be coincidence, but I'd personally think it would be cooler if it was true.

5C pickup isn't a problem for me, I used it pretty regularly in CS2 actually. I feel you, that delay came out of nowhere, I was so hype to pick up my copy before class this morning T__T

I find that the only way I get hits in is if I 6A, but usually I get baited or he airdashes low and I get hit with a jC>2D or something. I need some advice on this one because jC > Ada it seems. What really gets me the is when he'll 2D Ada when she's active, which extends the active frames of the move and when I go in to punish, I get hit by it >__> Also, probably a n00b thing to say, but FRKZ turns my blood into pure sodium. I dunno how to deal with that at all. :V

I think I'm gonna be using the Carl one, but Velvet Room/Tiger & Bunny/Faust palettes are all really good. Actually, there's only one that I don't like.

I don't think anyone would support me on this, but I'd like to suggest it anyway: New Video Thread. I find the old one is really not organized at all. I'd like it if we started fresh with CSEX and made one in the style the Relius Video Compilation thread. You can see right away which matchups are available to view and they're linked to start at the time the match starts (if anyone doesn't know how to do this, right click on the vid "copy URL at current time"). Basically, we just have to copy the format of the Relius Video thread and I'd be happy. I don't think it's hard to organize either. Speaking of Relius, any of you guys tried him yet? I'm interested in hearing opinions of people coming from a Carl background whether you like him or not and if his matchups are easier or harder (in your opinion).
