Not happening. The Izanami in P4 is an entirely different entity to the BB Izanami, with completely different goals in mind. They may share the same name, but that's what happens when you draw out your names from the same mythological sources. And to my knowledge, Mori has repeatedly denied crossovers between ASW series. A shame I must admit, since I'd love to see something like that but I understand it nonetheless.

It is because some time ago, Bullet's mercenary group brought in someone to teach them how to fight. They brought in Amane, however he misunderstood them because the Japanese word for "unit" and "stage" sound the same. Amane thought it was the latter and instead of fighting techniques, he taught them how to dance. I have no idea how they plan on localizing this though since this sort of joke makes the most sense when in Japanese. So, I watched a stream of the tournament involving Azrael and, from what I could understand, while the restriction placed on him (he cannot fight people who don't want to fight except Kokonoe and Tager) is in effect, his monstrous power depends on the strength of the opponent(s) he is fighting. The more powerful and willing the opponent is, the more of his power he is able to use. Is this correct or have I misunderstood it entirely?

And here I thought Slayer was in danger of being excluded. Glad to see his classy self again.

Wait, "remain in this world"? What happened during the climax of the story? I heard something about people being forcefully turned into seithr. Is that related to it? Man if this is true, BBCP has one massive body-count.

I agree. Especially considering it beat out Monster Hunter 4 in both lists. Very impressive.

The way I understood it (going by the claims from CS): he called it a failure because it could not become Kusanagi, something that should be able to kill/destroy Amaterasu. And Terumi really hates the Master Unit so him not being able to fuse into something that can destroy it would be considered a failure by him.

I actually am surprised to hear Kokonoe is on-disc. But for some reason, I am not as offended by this as I thought I'd be . Maybe I'm just biased to Kokonoe or ASW games in general since I normally don't let this kind of stuff go from anyone else...

Question: does Jin actually gloat over his victory over Ragna when the latter's powers were being sealed by Celica while Jin got himself Unlimited? If that is true, then I am kind of glad Beast!Ragna restores the status quo.

Well so far that is true for at least 2 other characters. Mei's seiyuu (Minase Inori) is the same for Homura, who is her descendant. Ringo's seiyuu (Matsura Chie) is the same as Kokokoe. Ringo true name is revealed to be Marcelyn F. Mercury and Zwei of the Ten Saints meaning she's got some connection to Nine as well. So should this claim be genuine, then Sechs is definitely connected to Ragna in some form. He could be anything from a clone to a reincarnation.

Didn't they outright say there wouldn't even be Bad Endings anymore way back? Which is weird since we had whole spiel about Takemagahara and the Imperator playing a Dimensional Tug-o-War and resetting random events.

I think we just figured out the entire plot of BB4: Crisis Quantum. The Evil turns out is Sechs, who's been pretty beefed up since the BB world was reset something like 724 times before. Jin, ever the clumsiest, fails to kill Ragna and Sechs goes free. He'll just go around curbstomping everyone, including an unsealed Azrael (we have to see him fully cut loose at SOME point dammit) and 100% Haku-men. Question is, how would Izanami deal with this. I kind of doubt she and Sechs are in cahoots with one another considering who Phantom (Nine) is.

Ah but then he wouldn't be Ragna then would he? The man tends to keep getting up no matter how bad the situation. You can blame Rachel for that with her "Never give up" and him keeping that very promise. Talk about an admirable force of willpower, even if his actual powers are not up to snuff story-wise with say a 100% Haku-men. That's the one. And what an fitting summary of just what he is (not joking).

If this "Evil" within Ragna turns out to be nothing more than a twisted Sechs from XBlaze I swear I am going to punch a baby seal. Oh who am I kidding? Mori probably introduced Sechs and had Sugita voice him just for this purpose. And we do have XBlaze finally making its connection (excluding the weapons) to BB now that we know both Tenjou and his son Homura are descendants of Mei Amanohokosaka. Relius. For a guy that's been hyped so much and looked like he posed a very real threat to the heroes he got such a massive turd sandwich. Abandoned by both Izanami and Phantom, his whole work gone down the drain, he's now made to serve Carl and Litchi. When villains fall in BB, they fall down HARD.

And bite it did. I had the same impression too (that Relius and Terumi were actually in charge). But in the end, it turns out to be false and they pay dearly for it. In a way, it is almost refreshing to see this sort of thing happen in Blazblue. It actually cements that for all their talk they were just small fry.

If I decided to make a list just how much the BB universe has deemed his life must be full of suck, we'd be here until dawn. So let me just make a short and simple answer: Yes. Yes it flippin' does . However, I have to say I'm still rather surprised CP just up and offed two major villains in different ways. Terumi got Time Killed and Relius was outright abandoned by the Imperator/Izanami and Phantom leaving him a pathetic wreck. I dunno about anyone else, but I never imagined this is how they'd end up after CS. Then again, they had this sort of thing coming after all the hacks and cheats they pulled of in CT/CS.

Shouldn't that tell you that his brain is located within his rectum and not his skull? To be fair, Sector 7 also didn't allow him to attack anyone who "isn't willing to fight" (unless you're Tager or Kokonoe). I'm disappointed too. I was hoping the 3 new characters would actually, you know, matter and impact the story in a significant way. But nope. Poor Azzy. All he wants is to give you a back-breaking bear-hug. Oh lol, this just made my day.

Well, try to understand that they fear people won't actually play pay for the the game if they can just go to any website and watch a walkthrough of it (with or without translations). Or someone uploads all the story art, videos and everything. I know it sucks, but you'll just have to deal with not being able to see images/videos of it until at least the localized version. Isn't he the creative director/producer? I thought planning ahead was in his job description?

Heh, I actually saw the one with Noel where it implies that Ragna is the "No.5" of something, though the second one has it too. But I always thought that this was just the end result of attaching the Azure Grimoire onto yourself. They're not going to post story content man. The ASW Gestapo units will have their virtual heads and toss the remainder to the Copyright Hounds. So, on a scale of 1 to 10, just how fucked is Ragna? I mean there's raising dramatic tension and then there's...well, this. Let's do a list: -Jin is told he needs to kill him and Jin is ever so happy to oblige. -Ragna has an "Evil" that's currently trying to escape by eating him alive. -Imperator/Izanami can make him go nuts by command. -Should Jin fail and he dies without Jin landing the finishing blow, Tsubaki needs to use Immortal Killer on Rachel to prevent the aforementioned "Evil". -His Blazblue is literally ripping apart his very soul that cannot be healed even when you turn back time/events. Sheesh, it's like I am reading a BB rendition of Berserk and Ragna just got the coveted role of Guts.

Rachel being vague about stuff she should by all accounts try to explain but doesn't. In other news, jumping out of a plane without a parachute is a bad idea. And you said the Grimoire is spreading along Ragna's body? That's interesting though to my knowledge there's never been any sort of official art that depicts how far along the "corruption" is. Does the story address that as well? Why Ragna, I didn't realize you could be a massive troll when the need calls for it . Actually that's a pretty smart move on Ragna's part. Granted Kagura had to take over for him but hey, at least we know he is maturing.

You don't think it could also be a bug for the JPN version at least? I mean, I've only seen this happen twice in your vids (Amane Astral on her and Kagura fight). Is there any other instance where it happens?

So question about the "Evil" within Ragna: was his Beast state when the Imperator/Izanami commanded him related to it or was that a separate incident?

Sucks to hear that I now need to beat Unlimited Mars just for the Unlimited Form of the character I beat it with instead of just buying it with P$. No offense ASW, but there is no way you will ever get me to attempt that level of frustration just to get Carl's Unlimited unlocked. Added to that, their novelty wore off the moment I heard Abyss Mode is back. If I want to fuck around I'll just go into that mode and MAKE my own Unlimited character .
