It can be taken a few different ways. 1. P4U2 finishes the P-1 Grand Prix saga and then there might be a spin-off game that branches off from it. Not necessarily a fighting game, but it could also be one. 2. P4U2 finishes the P-1 Grand Prix chapter and then the next Arena game takes place unrelated to the Midnight Channel, but uses the established roster. Personally I am kind of hoping it is option #1 since it might allow Elizabeth to be established as a main character in the next title.

Well this would be the case, had I actually been a good player in GG all those years ago. But in a way, I suppose this is good too. When I was younger, I could only appreciate GG for the aesthetics without getting closer to understanding the gameplay mechanics. Now I actually have a chance at a fresh start, with a brand spanking new entry to the series so it should be very exciting when the game's released.

Oh I see. So it isn't just about enjoying the character's playstyle but their overall character. Personally, I dunno where I stand. I was attracted to GG because I saw Sol and he was the sole reason I bought the game. I eventually branched out and started liking other characters, but he was the one character I could never get tired of seeing, playstyle or personality-wise. Only question is: can I actually use him effectively once Xrd hits consoles?

All this talk of character loyalty has me thinking: how do other people react if their character of choice is removed, but their playstyle/gameplay is carried over to another? Like Amadeous you prefer playing Jam correct? So what'd be your reaction if say Jam was excluded but was instead succeeded by her little sister "Margarine" or something? I know I was pretty damn salty when Soul Calibur 5 pulled this with various characters, but that's just me and not the majority of people.

Well according to some posters on other forums, there's claim that a woman (possibly Teddie's seiyuu) covered up a character announcement during the livestream. Can anyone here confirm this is the case?

That's one possibility. Another is that since the Midnight Channel and Dark Hour now appearing in Inaba (with their own version of Tartarus), it is possible that Adachi's own powers returned and he busted himself out. Of course, this is all purely speculation so best answer is that "we have an "Adachi" going around during this incident". I find it fun how he seems to know Yukari as "Feather Beak" though.

Well, Sho's Persona looks fuckin' sweet. 4 cards too so he's got a pretty average number for it. That SP skill though, looked like a counter but a damn impressive one. I love how Yukari and Junpei were discussing how he has no Persona on him and then he busts it out and they're like "Well, shit".

Well, he's still alive last we checked, albeit he was incarcerated and not really able to do much in the real world. Jailbreaks are a thing though so him being around still makes some sense. But I don't think we have much to worry about differentiating Magatsu-Izanagi and him from Yu. Heck, in their own game, Magatsu-Izanagi is a whole different beast from the regular Izanagi and Izanagi-no-Ookami.

Question: does the empty TV screen where Sho's Persona is supposed to be and lack of Persona Cards make anyone else a bit sad? It just kind of looks...empty when compared to another, Persona-wielding character...That is, until you start chopping 'em to bits XD. I really want to see more of this guy and how he differentiates between versions.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones that never tied himself down to anyone in particular when it came to GG. I started with GGX2 Midnight Carnival back when I was younger and knew absolutely nothing about how fighters worked so I used a little bit of everybody. Not well at all mind you, but I tried to give everyone a fair shot. Though I tended to gravitate more towards Sol, Slayer, Millia, Jam and Eddie/Zato-1. 4/5 are confirmed to be present in the game and after some video viewing, I kinda want to try Potemkin as well. So I think I am good when the game's finally out.

HOLY SHIT ON A SANDWICH! We actually have Adachi as part of the story and potentially playable!? FUCK. YES! Sho also looks pretty damn wicked, even without a Persona. And look; Summer 2014. Now if Atlus region locks it again, I can likely expect the same 1~2 week wait but if they don't I think a lot of fans will be happy since they can then import it (hey there Europe). Between this and Persona 5 being announced, my year is looking mighty fine. EDIT: I assume that was Inaba that got the Dark Hour treatment. So they also got their own version of Tartarus.

Was it ever explained why Kokonoe infused him with Ogre Cell? Or for that matter, what is an Ogre Cell? Is it just the genetic blueprint (DNA) of actual ogres or is it just some fancy codename that someone at Sector 7 thought sounded cool?

Well to be fair, I dunno how canon Golden could be. I mean, P4A (and likely P4U2) is supposed to be canon yet there's no mention of Marie at all from anyone from the Investigation Team. Similarly, I haven't heard that Golden addresses P4A either despite it being canon (though I could be wrong). So take from that what you will.

Well, at the rate BB is going, Ragna's liable to lose his 5B leg so he's looking for suitable replacements. Seems like Jin's 5B or 6B legs will do the trick .

Well for what it's worth, Eddie did have a DP grab before called "Damned Fang" though it was performed by 623S and didn't require you to have mini-Eddie out in order to do it. It was the move where he enshrouds the opponent into a shadow ball and he then "stabs" it with his hand causing massive bleeding.

Dare I dream that the Mystery Character X is Zappa? I mean, the silhouette looks pretty damn weird and well, Zappa's all about the WFT quotient.

I just want a decent Lizzie, though I am also real excited for Yukari especially since she's now part of Featherman R. But wait, what's this I hear about a 4th character? I thought Sho was the last one for a while unless this is teasing Makoto Margaret.

Say what? I thought most of the seithr was removed via the Lynchpin and that people were instead being forced back into seithr, with only the qualified ones being able to remain in physical form. Pretty much yeah. She also shouts a really spirited "INZAUMA KIIIIIIIIICKUUUU" in Japanese which had me laughing for a while.

Yeah, that sounds...just a tad overpowering. I can see why anyone would then dread fighting Jam if ASW gave her a low parry to go along with it.

Oh, alright gotcha. Man, it's been too long since I've even seen a Jam player in action so I really don't know much. I knew she had a parry, I just wasn't sure if it also covered lows.
