  1. Just in time! Can't wait to see it.
  2. What makes you think Dacid doesn't know what he's talking about?
  3. Restaurant = Clinic?
  4. Here's a contribution: Save a Burst. Save a life. Together - we can make a difference.
  5. Haters are gonna hate - unfortunately. They should know they aren't helping anything. Good, motivated, positive people are what makes communities enjoyable. I also agree that accessibility is important - I know folks that don't do well with the homework, and I've learned far more being informed by people and playing off advice and mimicking videos than studying the frame data and guides. Some just don't do as well, I've just had a person tell me he wants to train up but hasn't had much progress off Dustloop's guides by themselves. I've said it a few times, but I agree that Dacid's commentating was very good and he should get the mic as often as possible. I happened to like Spiritjuice, as his style reminds me of mine when I did other games, but I've had to learn the hard way that the "Heel Commentator style" has to be moderated - which is why I've started doing matchups I enjoy more (Litchi/Bang, Carl/anything, Bang/notPopular, Rachel/anything) to get the Negativity off. My latest is definitely one of my favorite attempts. simply because my main and my sub were playing.
  6. Yeah - I would just tension block #4. Thanks, actually. HAHA! But I have more of a problem of not blocking all of her stuff.
  7. >Tsubaki's stage >REPPU I LOVE THIS GAME.
  8. We were just talking about this! I like the idea, and as I'm working on my own casting and commentating, I think it'll help me improve.
  9. I really want to talk about stuff - but there's no general thread, and bogging Question thread down didn't seem like a good idea - and most importantly - I didn't see a General thread, so here's a General thread. I recently got the game to play on my own - and I'm enjoying discovering how free I am to the computer. It's really like learning all over again, and the game is really fast. I've been practicing Baiken and Jam, playing different mode with each in order to properly learn the game. Anyways: OH MY GOD I-NO. I STILL CANNOT BEAT. I-NO must be psychic or something. I sometimes do well against her to fail to two supers or not having enough tension to block one of her bullethell attacks... I've tried timing her out after securing a lead, but it seems the computer knows I want to do that, too, and never lets me. She sometimes walks into Baiken's stuff, I can tatami or just simply press 8 or 7 and then P P K j.D, but then there are times she owns my shit hard. Anji was hard enough - I've heard he has some one-frame block deal - I don't quite understand it as it was never explained... I cannot rush her down, and I can't simply block - I gotta find a moderate game to play on her, and it's gotta be tighter than what I have now. that being said - I can't wait to try this whole process as Jam. I suppose I'll be fighting Bridget. In conclusion - I love Jam's ear rape, and when Fall staarts, I'm going to have a few surprises in store for some folks. >:3
  10. I'm should really take the time to finally practice some of the advanced Litchi Combos. I think it's time I added them to my bag of tricks. If I'm gonna be letting people out of the corner out of a sense of hating corner raping to 30%, I need to know how to carry across the screen using the two long combos I want to learan. Again, I'm the fucking Maito Gai of BlazBlue. :|
  11. That's a really good idea. I should try it on some of the good matches I sometimes commentate on. A lot of the time I'm too caught up in one thing or another to speak about something subtle I'm seeing in favor of calling the action. Example: In this one, UnholyGarrett totally backdash potager bustering and abusing backdash invincibility. I was calling the jumping around on hakumen's part unsafe - but no one would have caught it. I should try this for sure.
  12. I just realized that guilty gear versions of these would be nice. Especially if they are like the Special Edition CT videos, but with more stuff.
  13. I strive to improve my game - but I don't eat sleep or drink it. I definitely don't have the money or time as a grownup to sink into it. I've really come into the genre within the last year, and like any very competitive venue - there will be people who go either way. To be honest I don't know where I would stand, because I honestly do not feel that, like some pro players feel, that mastering a game should be roughly equal to the time I'm spending on my college degree. I would not want to play a game like that, and to be honest, it's a waste of a gamer like me to choke me out of the action - you know how I end up having to treat a game like that? Like this. I really enjoy the genre in the two years I've come to it - it's competitive, technical, and I enjoy playing and making content related to it, as well as contributing to the community if I can, but when it's not fun - you bet I stop. If that makes me casual, then I guess I'm a casual. Anyways - The content you mention for SRK would be casual content. Casuals need tutorials and stuff - Hardcore players figure it out and study and play the shit out of it. To be honest I think the objective is just to add BETTER content to SRK.
  14. Either Momentary Life or Blue Water Blue Sky.
  15. When they mentioned the shades in the commentary I had ot think of The Hat in Over the Top. While Corey Hart was playing
  16. She feels responsible. She's the kind of person who's burdening herself. It's possible she loves him and/or feels guilty. Lao Jiu and boundary. WTB 1 Litchi origin story? I would guess she went from doctor to vigilante at some point. Best question. It's cuter, and it has to hold her hair together. Why, whatever do you mean? Heh. She seems to suggest to Tsubaki that showing off to men is a fine art, and it's possible Litchi just likes dressing them up. Of course, we like to fill in our imaginations because it's more fun that way. To answer my own - I think she might have picked it up someplace. Litchi is a doctor, but she seems quite acrobatic and athletic in order to do all that stuff.
  17. Why does she call it Shadow Palm when it's clearly very bright and she uses her feet?
  18. Wow. Oops! I've been playing Carl lately, so that totally slipped my mind. Lemme try that again. I can't find any Carls to play against, but the one I do know plays a lot on plays on PSN (probably in top 50 monthly - not sure if he's playing this summer) and likes to Volante off-screen and the BnBs, but more or less it's just as I said from the other perspective - I have to be wary of Carl more than Nirvana. Just listen while watching Carl, usually he jumps while inputting nirvana so he can buffer in more stuff easily. If he jumps, You're probably going to be dealing with Nirvana while he tries to pull a BnB on you. Just block or move. Moving's a better idea - you can get back in - because you are Bang.
  19. Bang's good at getting in - so I find I have to pay more attention to what I'm doing with Carl than Nirvana. Reacting to what bang is trying to do using j.B or j.C, and using nirvana to crush him from behind slowly is what seems to work well.
  20. I would have been thrown out in about 3 minutes. I use too much rage and not enough hype. I thought a lot about LK's match - I think a Hakumen that solid against Litchi probably warranted a character change, but I wonder if Makoto was the best choice for a counter-pick? I'm not sure if it would have made a difference, but a counter-pick may have been best - probably noel.
  21. Actually, I'd like to know more about the tire list. I'd love to be driving on some Tags. (that's pronounced "Taygz" with a long a.)
  22. When CS2 first came out - I thought Noel was bugged out in Unlimited mode at first. PS: DacidBro won me over yesterday. Great commentary.
  23. I thought it was very cool. I wanted to see an entertaining Bang and I got to. I learned a few things.
  24. I would recommend the 360 version - I hear more complaints from PSN users about lag and updates (they kinda got shafted with both valkenhayn and platinum, but maybe that's more because of the recent hacking on plat's release then badly managed releases), and should CS2 EVER come out for GFWL, it's likely you could share the Microsoft network like CT users do. anyways, get CT, while you're at it.
