  1. Litchis do not like Bang in close and above - our choices to hit Bang like that are 2C[m/e] and 5B[m]. Careful of Litchis that like 5A and 6C[e], though. It's okay, because you're Bang, and you got j.5C and 5B. Momentum is very important. Litchis like control of their match, and we'll do anything to get it back, but if you space Litchi properly, use that guard point, and use the correct version of teleport, we'll be very frustrated for sure. Litchi vs Bang is my favorite matchup. It's 5.0 and it really depends on knowing your strength for getting in and out and delivering damage to Litchis who can't have the pace they want in the match. I want to learn the hell out of it.
  2. Cool - Thanks. I'll check it out. If Kaqn's as good at Jam as he is at Ragna then I might really develop a good Rush game with Jam. Locals are pretty scared of/Salty for my Jam right now.
  3. I'm having problems executing the strat. Tager will BB IttsuA, and on the way down I won't know what to do and get hit into big damage. I'll burst to get control back, but it was recommended I Counter Assault to get back to good space and neutral. I'm not sure if this is good when he's doing his stuff to get to Atomic collider, since I never seem to block it or read it correctly. Pretty much, I learned he's got no fear of CH from me. I need to learn the damn kote link and corner rape or else I'm gonna have this Tager jumping everywhere and coming down on me. 6B, 6C, and 3C really did help me out, though.
  4. I don't like 2A. It gets blocked and I feel like I'm about to eat something. It feels like I need to be super close...yet it's a strting normal for a lot of stuff. Why?
  5. Any indication that the middle of the screen will make a return in CS:E, or will we have to wait more?
  6. Greetings, HakuMEN. I think I need to be in this discussion. :P I've been pushing CT around because it's all I have right now, but I want to make one thing very clear: CT fucking sucks. Mightfo has the right of it. -Bursts were easy to bait and didn't have enough utility. -Tager's basic design is broken, but besides that - CT Tager isn't as complex as CS Tager, who has some neat resets and is more dangerous. not that that makes much difference as America is somehow free to Tager no matter what. I've had it with constantly fighting Tager in CT - it seems I need to move on to a Tager people can tell me how to beat. -Bang and Litchi both were bare minimum design in CT - I say I like it, but that doesn't erase the fact Litchi and Bang were very basic characters in CT. I'd be bullshitting if I said CT Litchi was better. -The guard Libra...I'd say primers are better but TBH I really need to relearn CS. I can't tell you why one is better or worse. - CT is terribly balanced. Invincibility everywhere, Damage through the roof, zoners are amazing - some characters don't have the fucking tools they later got in CS to deal with shit. - Rolls fucking suck. Just mashing neutral tech would be better than getting constantly spaced out on a roll. - Nu is bullshit. CT is fucked up, and I'm burnt out. I'm waiting for CS:E, because lord knows I want a more flexible Litchi that has a chance against Lambda and Arakune, and won't get easily bodied for making a mistake with Tager, Ragna, won't have to freeze shake Jin, or lose to the invincibility frames that some of the cast has. If CS:E gets off a corner rape binge, I'd call it a success.
  7. I learned this recently, too - Half-screen distance double overhead? It's really neat but I have to warn you - it's a gimmick. Real Tagers won't put up with that. You don't want to be stuck on the tail end of that overhead, the staff coming back to you (not sure which state it's in, but I don't think you have the recovery to do much with it), and now Tager is Sledging, Jumping in, or Voltecing. Bad. If it hits - your game is still neutral as it was and Tager took a little damage and now you are recovering. If he got hit by Litchi's Staffless part of that Overhead, watch yourself be 360ed after. If he's in the hole in between both overheads, you're boned. If he blocked, you're also boned. If he jumped, you're boned.
  8. I play some decent Tagers both locally and online. Myself - I have problems respecting Tagers properly. I mostly play them as if to practice attacks, and you just can't. You have to learn Tager properly like any other character. That's why I lose Tagers. That video is actually a very good example - Ignore the corner stuff - Pay close attention to the first minute. LK understand this matchup and stays very active in a neutral game against Tager by reacting and poking. Look how afraid Tager is to jump. If you encounter jumpy Tagers - they are counting on you to not know your own character's AA tactics, AND not respecting you. He knows if he jumps Litchi is going to IttsuA or punish his air block and Proceed as Planned. Litchi has just the correct spacing. Enough to 6C or 6B without getting punished, enough for it to connect if blocked. The first and FOREMOST thing about Tager is that he has to be respected. The problem with Tager is that he has this terrible reputation as a character that doesn't fit in BlazBlue and is gimped to being broken, but here in AMERICA it seems Tager is S tier when he's actually Tager (D) tier. This is because no one respects Tager and feel they can be aggressive or turtle and Tager is just going to sit there and accept whatever they do. You are going to lose if you play like that.
  9. Some things - - Computers are psychic. The AI knows what buttons you press and has a specific set of reactions to them. Players are not Psychic. They can read well given experience and knowledge, and part of your job is to give them bad experience in the match you are in. Do not blow your mental load in the first round. If's okay if you lose a round if it means the opponent blew his bag of tricks trying to beta a solid game or a game that he knew enough to beat. - Players will adapt for sure, just look at Fio on Litchi - Fio loses a lot to Kaqn's Rag, but Fio seems to be able to change gears when it means he can take a match, and he can. It looks like someone else is playing his Litchi. That's how much mindgames you need.- You can beat players better than you if you are smarter than them. - You have Noel - People are going to turtle you out. I'm sure I don't have to tell you how to play, but it's going to be important if anyone good shows up and knows that Noel needs to be respected as if they are going to get 720'd... - Have fun. This is supposed to be fun.
  10. Dammit I'm 1/2 criteria for commentating.
  11. Good quality stream, but can we have less people in that chat for a entirely different stream? Kinda crowded, you know?
  12. Dude - The Garden. You'll be famous. If The Garden hosts Evo, even if BB is in some back office with two chairs, I will go. I'd also see how far in SF4 I get with Flowcharts, then get a T-shirt that says "I flowcharted at EVO". Anyways - lemme rephrase my question - In about a paragraph, sum up how people should adjust to the the changes you expect (so far...) and what Litchi's situation will be going into CS:E.
  13. Having a hard time finding good Jam match videos to learn from. I've managed to learn a lot just from watching Nerina when it comes to Baiken but I don't have anyone for Jam - any reccomendations?
  14. It means "TO RID THIS WORLD OF EVIL". Go forth and rid the BlazBlue world of trolls, scrubs, and Evil.
  15. Staff recall is risky. If I were a Tao that just cornered you, I'd be ready to grab Litchi, Drive Litchi, HexaEdge, or continue with new opening C stuff. So - Block/Reverse/Grab. Just generally don't choke.
  16. LK What's the plan to get the crowds to chant *your* name instead next year? Also - WTF ground chun - what should I know and where are we going with this?
  17. What matchups could you watch for hours? For me, it seems to be Litchi versus Bang. Litchi is a very difficult-to-use character, appears uncommonly, and can play anywhere from full of crazy gimmicks to robotic corner rape. Bang can be hard to use sometimes, but he's otherwise easy for those with a really good basic game. He lacks a traditional DP but only has projectiles from air, as well as can play anywhere from slow and tough to fast and wild. Both characters can be acrobatic, so you can have a match where a jump in or dash in can be vital. Litchi and Bang can have neat and creative reversals and combos. Litchi vs Bang is a 5.0 matchup because of differing advantages, but I gotta hand it to a Bang that can get in and out. Bangs are always a fun challenge.
  18. I want Tsuuna versus Dacid next week. We need to make this happen.
  19. Wow, I missed out. Not sure it'd work out over lag, though. Would love to try, though. Trying to grow out of being such a Heel.
  20. like 6THrow. It's ground Chun. Yeah- weird.
  21. Dem Crossups - LK - I got Taos that love cross up - best way I find to deal with it is jump to avoid whatever they have coming next - usually a grab, other times a 5C or 5B. downward j.5B or just get away - or most risky - try to 5B[m]?
  22. Tsubaki Install vs Bang Install I wouldn't use FRKZ in this - Tsubaki can just push buttons. Bang can't Block.
  23. I have to chuckle at daisharin nerf, but still feels bad. Maybe while midscreen - Chun or grab before falling hit, the movement or grab will make the falling stick whiff?
  24. Doesn't work as well as: >be 9 years old >Go to MAHVEL >Beat everyone
