Sorry - Tsubaki was my CS char pick. I play for LOVE and JUSTICE. -
I like AC+ so far. It's very challenging and the story is fun, even though there aren't nearly as many portraits. Future games need to be more like BlazBlue - VN with fighting instead of Sex.

LOL! I Reiterate my Iron Shiek vid post. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1QCBF3h_tM PS: Hi Hazamas. -
I say take your time with Hakumen. He loves to jump and dash in and swing his huge wall of damage at you. If he has meter he's going to use something worse than C. Play the hell out of that match.

6C+6D counters his drive.

What a mix...

But I suck...

Tourney I went to ended up being CT because DERP WE BROUGHT THE WRONG GAME (Sweet! Advantage: Me!), but the guy pretty much told me no one would play BlazBlue in any form around here because it's trash. I heard similar comments from people hanging out at tourney. I came ready to play CS (CS1 at the time), actually. I was worried someone I know would show up and Beat me with his hakumen, or worse, someone else I know that would mirror my Litchi and corner rape me to death because he's just a vet and I'm not. Next year, either game - I've gotten a lot better and I'm going to get much farther. I'm going to finals unless the vets I know decide to play. I am NOT losing to fucking Jin like I did so closely last time. No. Well, I beat my first match pretty well using Litchi and someone said to his friend "Don't you ever get that good with Litchi." (Feels good!), and three people that were hanging out and signed up left - both people I played in the next two matches got to their position by Default. Seriously - people make playing the game and participating inhospitable and frustrating right now. Better attitudes and social skills are needed.

Well, the game needs to be PLAYED at tournaments first. You know how much snide behavior I get when I'd say I'd play BB in tournament, even locally? Then I went to first one. Won my first two matches while cold. People did nothing but bitch that the game sucked. I made three people walk off, and the others went to go play MAHVEL BABY and Ken Fighter. Half the problem is the lack of social skills among players. The other half is that people won't stop bitching about the game.

You're right that I should never just write everything off, but decent bang players always have me spaced out, there's no direction I end up teching that's going to help me block or escape what comes next. If I'm late, they'll just continue with 6D->thrust...It's really hard to figure out what's the best thing to do when you have a Bang that knows his range.

"Oh look, Litchi hit D! 66->6B." This can be useful, though. One sec. Litchi has neat mindgames. Once you know when the stick is out, when it's on you - when you can or can't use it, you can really start messing with people. REal easy stuff is random Ittsu cancels or even late Ittsu 5C. People sometimes get really caught by it - hoping to punish you for doing Ittsu. Setting the staff usually will cost you life. In a decent matchup, about 40% of it every time you mess it up. Don't be afraid to set it, though. Jumping anywhere and then D sets the staff while attacking, and a lot of people still eat it for some reason. You also have that great 4D and 6D, although I have to go back and check which way 41236D goes when you do either. Yeah - know that too. It looks cool and hurts like hell if you know that stuff and use it right (very risky, but DANGER IS MY MIDDLE NAME) You can even squeeze in players that are otherwise above you in skill simply by being smart about how/where you set the staff and what you do with it. I don't understand Litchi, though. I just Litchi Flowcharts, whatever that would be in this game. I flowchart everything. Flowcharts. Ken. Shoryuken.

I'd like to start with really basic normals or specials, but the guide is only half done...Lots of stuff beginning with Throw...I'm sketchy on Throws... I know it's not a legit - but it flows nice and feels right. 5P->5K->2D(first hit only)->coin->6K I've been playing around to see what feels right and what doesn't. but I really don't know - and all the stuff listed looks harder. Am I right in assuming a lot of Johnny's stuff is going to be character specific? I'm gonna try some of the generalized suggestions, those seem like a good idea for starters.

Just tired of seeing the same corner mixup over and over - especially when I see other Litchis doing cool stuff high-level and not lose. I want to encourage the latter. No, I don't understand any of the characters. I suck. More like Kyaro, Fio, and Warlord. ALthough Fio seems to lose a lot to Kaqn.

Fucking Casuals Ruining The Genre!

If you think my posts are disrespectful then I apologize. I don't mean to be personally offensive.
-
Not everyone plays the same - if you see two people doing the same thing, they are probably trolling you. Just play the shit out of the game. You'll get it over time. Time. It's all about time.

Get your Dissidia out of my face! I used to play Seph - I'm digging this game out Tomorrow night. :P

I feel excited and Hype when you cross-under and do Test-of-Fear Daisharins. I like seeing how other players will react. I feel bored when you corner rape. Yes, she has a strong corner game, but this is seriously making a lot of boring-ass one-trick Litchis. It's getting old. If it wasn't for the fact it was a lot of work for her, I'd say CS should just be all wallbouncing and 10 Barrier Bursts, because the middle of the screen is really nonexistent. Show me new and cool things with Litchi and I will put you over when I talk to others. Anything else is just practice mode with a player instead of a 100% CPU. Anyways - more cross unders. More j.5A. more ippatsu-style crossups, dodges, and reversals. Make me proud to be a Litchi. Unleash the Jam.

More or less - I personally don't think anyone is good unless they can play many characters, so I try to learn most - but it shows when you don't have a main, and My Main Litchi suffers because of it. It's like anything else competitive - you do your one thing until you're the best. That's mostly what the expectation is. Play however you want, but if you want to win substantially, you have to learn one or two characters HARD.

It's about time commitment and results.
