Story mode like BB, Soft resets, button checkless, The whole cast but balanced. (include Fanny, Kliff, Justice). All the good stuff for netplay, some on board stat tracking. Tutorials and challenges are needed, too.

The D-pad is a bastard. You break it in, and they age kinda strange. Eventually they get better, then at some point, they become a Club Controller. Probably after being mashed really hard (I play hard, so mine tend to go quicker) and sometimes they get thrown.

I've stolen back the game out of hidden spots like behind furniture and out of trashcans and negotiated some fucking space for games. When people want to throw games of others they don't like in the trash because they don't want other people playing it, I make sure people can play their fucking games, no matter how shitty anyone thinks they are. I offer to set up and have been trying to get local recordings going so people can watch and learn from their own matches (including myself - for all games - yes, even fucking MAHVEL. I'll even do Jackie Chan fists of fire if someone asked) If it wasn't for people stealing from each other or my own lack of time or money to bring shit, I'd have me my own local venue for anime games. So yes, I see this fucking shit posted and it pisses me the fuck off. Thank you very fucking much.

I think everyone decided already, and if I want to convince them I have to just go and get humiliated on stream just to show good faith. It's probably going to take a few years to do anything else. I don't know what else I'd do at this point. Just walk into punches until I make up for it or accomplish something really great. I'll probably have to beat you guys legit. IDK. As of Day 2 CSE I do not look forward to playing anything of anything at Next Level. I have the cash right here, I am ready to go, but it's going to be a complete embarrassment... We shouldn't be saying eff any game - but lo and behold we get a rerelease of a good game and people just HAVE to say "Fuck blazBlue yay guilty Gear" when the BlazBlue sections clearly had more work put into them and GG was left as it is right now. So why now? Because re-release? It was release already, it's not like everyone burned all the copies in the world. You can get the game for 30 bucks on amazon. PS2 is an old system now. There was no excuse for anyone not to run an event or not get new people into the game. They just walked away from GG, and they'll blame anything. Seriously, you can keep the game it's all going to be this. I would rather play with the most casual bluebies than anyone who acted like such a fucking snob all the fucking time about games. It's obnoxious in real life, I deal with it almost every fucking day, and it's obnoxious on the net. A whole community of this is exhausting, unfun, and completely worthy of irrelevance. I hope everyone walks away from GG AGAIN. Then the game will be good.

I think I played like...80 matches today? I don't know. Look it up yourselves. I lost all but 5. Major focii today: "Learned" ch 2C starter (this thing is stupid and I'll never land it in a real match because 2C is stupid, the combo is stupid because 2C is.) Somethign about Chuns being TKed. I don't know. 6B never hits. Grab->dash5B->2C->4D I love the idea of 4D hitting shit but grabbing and dash5B is really grinding my ass. This combo is also stupid. I can't get past challenge 6. I also realized I can't play 360 pad nor can I play stick. we could play CS2 at NL and I'd still not be able to do rekkas or airdash. I'm sleepy, now. This game sucks and it's like everyone's been playing it for 5 years since november 2011. wtf...

Yeah it's not so bad. PS: I need new combos. Tried some new stuff on suggestion in stream but I feel so weird. So now I feel weird AND I'm bad at the game.

I've been playing and practicing this way more than BB, actually. We have this locally so I get to play against others regularly. I'm not really "allowed" to play other anime fighters. :P I wake up at 6:30, leave at 7, and by 8 I'm hooking up a PS2 and practicing and/or playing stuff for hours each day.

Even though the followup takes away a button? I've had great success just taking way heavy slash. Most people don't notice the icon, so they end up looking to see what I took away. Okay, so - if I use Tsuki->HSfollowup->6A->RAPE I should make sure I corner and kill them with it. That should be around 30-40% health.

Why do I feel like this is going to be a letdown, even if it works well? Makes me want to not play Guilty Gear anymore. How am I supposed to be a GG hipster when people can actually play the game online now? Fuck if more people play it more will be better than me. Goddammit.

I gotta admit - I didn't learn much last night. I have some sort of copypaste from Huey that involves 2C->623... But for "Learning Bang"- I dunno. I think next time you should try to be more structured and take some breaks to reflect and explain things, especially in the context of beginner mode. Huey was nice to have on, but I really thought it was going to be ground-up like beginner mode should be. I came in wanting ground-up learn Bang from nothing - the beginning - instead of "Figuring it out" like I have been trying to... I like that you sounded like me in netplay, though. Very funny. :P

Welcome back! Some of us are kinda on our own here, lol! Guides could use some updating and clarity, but that's site-wide. We definitely could use some modern matchup threads. What do you think of Baku->Force CH state for easier combos? Or is sealing Movement better?
